Food and service was great as always. It was cozy in the gardening industry, a balmy evening good atmosphere.

Certainly a fine address, even if the card does not convince with originality or particularly sustainable dishes. The wine selection also remains in "safe areas. " After all, the service stands out from the average and allows you to spend a pleasant stay here.

Were there for business lunch at noon. The whole place was filled up to the Eltzten square, but that says everything about the restaurant. The service was still sensational. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was a hit. Would love to come back.

One of my favorite restaurants. The staff of the Leuen is not to be topped! In no other gastronomy have I experienced such high quality of service and food at the same time. Those who like wild must have been there in the wild time! Otherwise the food is excellent! I can only recommend this restaurant with a very good conscience!

Excellent typical local cuisine, around autumn I can recommend the seasonal deer dishes! Servings are big enough and the amarone is amazing. Will come back 100%!

Restaurant good but even for Swiss conditions slightly overpriced.

A very nice, clean and cosy small hotel is Gasthof Leuen!
We were there for four nights to guest. Through a misunderstanding, we got a Deluxe instead of a standard room (without knowing it). As the error when you check out cleared, we had to pay only the standard price. This is more than fair!
The staff was very friendly.
For the but — typical man gets quite high price Switzerland — but also some available: clean, spacious and modern rooms, Wi-Fi/LAN Internet access, desk, TV and in the larger rooms also have a seating area. This includes current newspapers, magazines, and a small but very nice breakfast buffet in the restaurant.
Although we have not experimented with the restaurant, but it must be very good, because every night it was full to the last seat. The menu sounded already times very appealing.
Also the location of the hotel is super; only 15 minutes by car to downtown Zurich. Public transport is easily accessible. From the rooms on the garden side, you have a great view over the landscape.
We can highly recommend the stay at Gasthof Leuen! Nevertheless, we forgive only 4 out of 5 stars because of the rather high price (per night 140 CHF, double standards are the over 100 euro! ).

We only stayed here because it's close to the University and we needed to go there. Not in the city center, but easily reached by train in 20 minutes. Nice and clean hotel. No AC (it was quite hot when we stayed in July — bring your bug spray to open the windows). The restaurant is a nice favorite with locals. Very friendly staff. Would stay again only if we had to return to the University. Nice view of the valley.
