Ideally located in suburbs of Zurich, very calm and peaceful locality, surrounded by mountains, adjacent to the bus stop and not too far from Regensdorf station, it has Migros and Coop in a mall adjacent to the hotel with lot of other shops too.

This hotel is nothing like the photos and discription! The rooms were comfortable but no toiletries for a four star hotel. Breakfast was not worth the money… 28chf… Monday we had lox and abundance of bread the next day was horrible… no bread no lox, mixed fruit salad instead of whole fruit and less choices… confusing. I wouldn't stay there again! Plus they blocked $100 on my card and it's still blocked after one week! Horrible!

Really a good hotel with everything you would expect from Mövenpick. Very good breakfast and spacious rooms. Underground parking is available. Right next door is a shopping centre and about 10 minutes walk away you get into the green. Nice variety on business trips.

Visited hotel with my family. Very clean hotel, convenient location, only 10 minutes walk to train station. Great staff especially Ben and Alisha, very helpful and knowledgeable. Additional benefit of Airport shuttle service.

Convenient to get to Zurich downtown (18 minutes by train). Staff very helpful and kind. Clean room. A bit expensive the restaurant but convenient access to the mall where, with much lower prices you can safely have breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Really nice hotel, conveniently located to downtown. You can walk 5 min to the nearest tram station or get a bus to it right in front of the hotel. The staff was really nice and helpful. We catch the chocolate hour during check in which was paired with a champagne as a welcome drink. Room was clean, comfy and big enough for our family of four. The only minus was that we weren't told, we have to call hotel reception to send us the shuttle bus and spend 45-50 min on the airport till we find out.

Very nice hotel — particularly nice welcome on arrival with complimentary drink and chocolate samples to try. Rooms excellent food excellent, particularly nice is the Italian restaurant in the garden. I liked both restaurants and they of course serve the movenpick ice cream which is fab. Not so great I thought, was the breakfast. Not much selection and hot food consisting of boiled eggs, rice, and mixed vegetables. Not what I was expecting and twenty Francs was a lot for not much really — management please take note. Overall four stars and you get what you pay for. If you are in the area and need a comfortable place to stay this is pretty nice.

Front desk staff were very helpful. As a family we appreciate the work they do! Breakfast was very good. Great assortment of items to eat. We ate dinner in the hotel and the food was very good!

The waitress was somehow polite but it was not the friendliness, the warmth and the service I had the opportunity to see some months ago… there… There were some service issues too…

This hotel was very good especially for the price. It was a little out of our way because it was 30 minutes outside of Zurich but the surrounding area is quite nice. The shopping center was convenient even in the 10 minutes we had before it closed because we managed to grab some food from the supermarket. Overall, a very nice stay.

Service is very poor. Restaurant staff is very rude. There was no bottle opener in the room and when asked for the same. Had to call them up 2 times. The reply we got was shocking. We were asked to come to restaurant to go to the restaurant to get the bottle opened. Ambience is good. But behaviour of restaurant lady is intolerable.

We enjoyed the stay very much. Especially we liked the staff, the breakfast, and the location at the shopping centre, near train station, easy to drive to the airport and the city centre. We slept very well, however the queen size beds could have been a bit wider. Finally, we got the best value for money.

Only in the restaurant: beautiful pieces of meat (black Angus) and sweet potato fries.

These were the best hotel beds we ever slept in. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and competent. The only criticism was a shaky side table in Room 656, which would need to be retraced urgently.

We are usually completely satisfied with this hotel. This time we got room 303, i. E. H. Above the entrance, next to the elevator, with an open curtain spotlight on the ceiling. No last-minute booking!
On the window side no reading light, was also not to change, since connection under the bedside bathroom side. The floor lamp didn't work.
One or the other hook in the bathroom would be helpful!

This place is pretty good for conventions. There's plenty of space for even the most obscure exhibitors which makes any convention a lot of fun. Also, due to the Mövenpick restaurant right next door, catering is amazing.

I've never felt so comfortable in a hotel before. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food is excellent. Above all, the staff are fantastic; helpful but not pushy; always ready to help when needed without getting in your way.

Breakfast brilliant. Room little bit old looking (price/value), corridor door loudly closes on the ground floor. Try to get room in the edge of the hotel if possible.

Check-in and check-out went very quickly. We also got a free room upgrade for unknown reasons! The hotel staff was always friendly and very accommodating, all sorts of questions could be answered immediately and also questions about restaurants (opening hours, recommendations, etc. ) were answered in the vicinity.
The room was very nice and spacious. The breakfast buffet was extensive and there was always enough refilled. Breakfast in the room per room service is also possible.
The entrance to the fitness park (including sauna, steam bath and pool (inside and outside) costs 25 CHF for one day per person and can be paid directly at the hotel reception. A connecting corridor will take you directly to the foyer of the fitness park.
A few metres from the hotel there is a bus stop, which takes about 30 minutes to get to Zurich Hauptbahnhof.
All in all a clear recommendation!

When I go to Switzerland for business, I know that my stay at the Mövenpick will be without hassle and enjoyable. The staff is efficient, polite and professional. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Excellent soundproofing and temperature control, with nice beds, makes for a good night sleep.

Very well furnished and clean rooms. Despite the disco in the foyer in the rooms quiet, very very good buffet.

The waiting time at lunch is unacceptable. Over an hour for standard pizza and tartar. No more. Food otherwise OK.

Great location, huge rooms and perfect service. Super breakfast. We go there every year and are always satisfied. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I visited Zurich in January 2018 and have chosen to stay over weekend in Mövenpick Hotel Zürich-Regensdorf. The hotel is very nice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean, warm and comfortable room. We were surprised to find iron with iron board in wardrobe in our room, free of charge and coffee machine too. Very good location and shuttle service from and to airport. Train station and shopping center with around 50 different shops are nearby. Receptionists were very supportive and quickly organized room for us with full bath (not shower only) and king sized bed. Good fitness center with sauna, steam room and outside Jacuzzi.

A little off the beaten path. A little sloppy because it doesn't seem to visit much. There was dust in the room and the TV controls had no battery.

Waiters from breakfast are unfriendly to guests that don’t speak German. The only truly friendly waiter from the breakfast is a Portuguese Lady. Every time I stay in the hotel the staff starts removing the food at 10.20 am when breakfast ends at 10.30. The Lady that makes the eggs and omelets is rude and unfriendly and removes all the hot plates without warning at 10.20. I went to the reception to complain and they did nothing, not even gave me a excuse. … Some of the problems I have had during my stays at the hotel: No towels in the room, Glasses in the room completely filthy, Asked for breakfast in the room and it wasn’t delivered even after I had complained, No complimentary water at the room, Minibar not working, Housekeeping lady left a note asking if I wanted the room cleaned, under the door at 18.45 saying that it was 16.00.

I stayed at Mövenpick Regensdorf for seven days and enjoyed it. The room and bathroom were neat, comfortable and well enough equipped. The breakfast was good with many-sided delicacies. The staff at the reception and the restaurant where the breakfast was served were friendly and helpful. The cleaners did their job well. On New Year's Day my room wasn't cleaned, but maybe they weren't supposed to do it then. The location isn't the best possible. The hotel is far from downtown Zurich, but you can get there by train (S6) in 17minutes.

Even before we arrived everything went wrong… We had booked a voucher including wellness and breakfast for New Year's Eve. We arrived extra at 2pm to get a bit of wellness (since it would have been possible to check in earlier) but we were not told that on this day it is only open until 16.00. After that we had to wait 40 minutes for the room because it had not been cleaned yet!
The next morning after breakfast we did not get into the room because with the card something was wrong… Three times from the sixth floor up and down until the reception has really done something! And also there was lost over 1 hour, by that we could not really wellness on this day. Very unprofessional. Would not have thought for 4 star hotel! We had a superior room but from Superior was no trace. The toilet is so cramped that only one person fits in.

The restaurant manager was very rude, I was coming with a tour and as I was comming to the buffet I took some cereal and sat down at the "non-group" tables. I spilled some milk and so I was wiping it when the waiter said are you from the groups? I said yes, then he told me to go to the group seat. (I also apologized to the waiter) As I was getting out of the buffet to get to the group seats the "Manager" told me he said "Watch your food before you eat! " Loudly to attract attention I ignored him and I told myself such a rude person. But, the hotel itself is ok the rooms are clean, etc. But the service is disgusting.

Great hotel, rooms quite good (except for the cot supplied for the other guest in the room)

Very friendly staff, free upgrade to higher room category, very good dinner in restaurant. The rooms are spacious and clean. Requested at breakfast several times. Airport transfer free of charge. The only negative point is the very hard mattresses.

The rooms are very nice, of the best of the hotel, has a coop to side to be able to buy things, the only bad thing is that they close very early, the services is good, the breakfast is very good, advisable to go in all the stations of the Year.

Clean and comfortable rooms, central location within walking distance of train/restaurants, reception efficient and helpful. I was able to check in early after a long overnight flight which was a big plus.

Bullying… the feeling of racial discrimination at this hotel. We are Chinese. I stayed at Zurich Regensdorf Hotel last week, I came with my family of eight and booked two rooms. There were some confusion with payment at check out and the gentleman reception was extremely rude to us, he demanded for us to show our bank statements for one room that was pre-paid. He talked down on us and also accused us of lying and was not helpful in resolving the matter at all. His exact words were ‘Look, if you walk out of the door now and refuse to pay, we would still charge the money out of your credit card´. I was so embarrassed, and in disbelief… how can he talk to anybody like this. We had good intentions to pay and were very polite to him, we only wanted to resolve the matter. I insisted he check on his system again for the payment, and after asking 3 times… he looked and found out one room had already been paid for. The Italian restaurant also refused to give us a table, and I had to ask the hotel staff to help us. Eventually the manager gave us a table and in a rude manner he told us we had to order one main each. They were bullying, the feeling of racial discrimination and being accused of lying. I can not believe how we were treated by a hotel such as Movenpick. This kind of customer service is unacceptable and we will never return again.

The room was good as well as the breakfast. Why I can't give more Stars is because they are under staffed. One man worked very hard to please our group of 30 beside having also other duties and did very well.

Spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast spread. Space becomes an issue with morning rush at breakfast counter.

It's a clean simple hotel. I wish it had more amenities like conditioner and body lotion. The spa connect to the hotel is quote nice. Lots of steam rooms to choose from.

Stayed here for the first time last week. Nice quiet little town. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, and a great view out the back of the hotel. Love watching the lawn mower for some strange reason.

The room is nice but nowadays for $$ Wi-Fi? €5/hour internet Access? Please not recommend for next visiting.

Good place to spend the night.

I am staying at this hotel on December 24th, around 8PM. There was some dispute about the room arrangement. We booked 1 triple room with extra bed, and 1 double room, but we got 2 twins instead. Thinking there might be a misunderstanding, since we were traveling with a tour group, I went down to the lobby and asked the tour leader of my group. He then asked the receptionist about the problem, and this was what angered me. When being asked, the receptionist's response was rather impolite, repeatedly saying that it wasn't their fault. Well, I understand that there might be a miscommunication, it happened often anyway. I wouldn't be so pissed if only your receptionist had said a sincere apology, and had offered a solution. Instead, his attitude didn't show any sign of being sorry, he even shook his head and said "geez, " when we complained. Until the end, he kept shouting "Well I'm sorry but it's not our fault it's just a matter of communication, " etc, and yes, still, no sincerity at all. For the sake of your hotel reputation, please, I think you have to check the attitude of your staffs. Attitude matters. I hope you can provide a better service next time.

Housing cost is not high, but the hotel rooms are a bit dated but clean.

I have stayed at this location at least 25 times over the years and I can honestly say that this is the most comfortable hotel I stay at in all of my destinations in Europe. The room is set up perfectly, not too small, carpeting, ref, coffee service, adequate a/c and heat and nicely outfitted bathroom. Little things like unlimited shower gel, not a tiny bottle to try to sqeeze out 2 showers. Staff is attentive and always friendly. For those who like nature, numerous hiking trails closeby.

Dont stay here! No A/C in the Rooms! Stayed 2 nights, couple with 2 kids, in early July. 2015. Passing the night was a nightmare! 12am, after thinking something is wrong with my A/C, Hotel staff told me that the hotel DOSENT have A/C, only a "Cooling system" that ment a fan that reduces the temp by 3-4 degrees only. I asked for a fan, they brought a personal table fan for the 4 of us! I would not recommend staying here in Summer! This hotel should only be 1 star! What 4 star hotel dosent have A/C.

Quasi-new establishment. Very quiet and clean. Large garage. Light meals at reasonable prices, salad buffet correct. Breakfast buffet at the levels of the 4-5 *. Very good value for the Zurich area usually expensive.
Attention: The location was not on my GPS (5 years old). Paid Internet. Wide duvet but not very long.

The staff here are just lovely. Attentive, helpful, and accommodating. I, My SiS, & SoN are here for the weekend and its just brilliant. Rooms are nice and clean and spacious. Beds are confortable. And its close to transportation and the mall, although the mall is closed on Sundays, so its not open at the moment. Its a gorgeous day out and I can see the mountains out my window. I would stay here again. Oh yeah and there is a hotel shuttle van from the airport & back. Great value.
