We stayed here for hiking vacation for me and my wife as well as my participation to Ultra Tour Monte Rosa 2023. Location-wise, we couldn't have asked for a better place. Trail heads are found right behind the apartment, leading up to Mischabelhütte etc. A clean, spacious apartment. Super helpful host. Everything was conveniently provided and explained at check-in.
Very nice, clean, well presented apartment in quiet, small apartment chalet. Michel and Beati are really warm friendly helpful and assiduous hosts. (Picked up from Bus on arrival (very welcome after 15 hours travelling) and dropped us off when we left.
Good location (if up a steepish hill) — close for cable cars etc & food shops.
And of course Saas Fee is a fantastic location (though rather a lot of building & roads work going on) & shame Hannig gondolas out of commission)
Visiting right at beginning of season meant it was relatively free of tourists (except us! ) which we liked.

We enjoyed every moment spent at Alpenfirn Saas-Fee! The Bumann family is very warm and friendly, we felt wonderful! We enjoyed the beauty and charm of the very modern, impeccable and comfortable apartment, located in a beautiful and picturesque area of Saas-Fee! The mountain and glacier views from the balcony are spectacular. Looking forward to get back to Alpenfirn next summer!
