Clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast.

Stayed here three times already and will be definitely be back. Can't argue at the price or the location. Mårtensdal tram stop is right outside or it's an easy 10 minute walk to Gullmarsplan for the green line metros. Not overly impressed with the hotel 'pub' as prices there and locally competitive and service was a bit lacking last time I used it.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff were brilliant. Good value and compact. Superbly placed for public transport and restaurants. Would defo recommend.

A huge thank you to Ludwig for being extremely lovely and making my stay even better. Thank you also to Sebastian for the warmest welcome and excellent customer service. The room is super cute and the beds were very comfortably. The breakfast was delightful!

Quality hotel at a reasonable cost. Well located for access to southern Stockholm area, but as tram stop right outside hitel you can soon reach anywhere on the excellent Stockholm transit systems. We have stayed in this hotel before and the rooms are very comfortable, optional breakfast of a high standard and staff very helpful. Supermarket close by and plenty of small cafes close if need them. We would use this hotel again.

Nice hotel. Clean, stylish and calm environment. Welcoming and friendly staff. Breakfast is very good for the price, lots of choice and well catered for if you are vegetarian like me. Note that the breakfast hours are very busy and crowded. Hotel has snacks available, and the Piper restaurant next door has very nice food.

Room has lots of space and room service comes by every day. Hand soap, body wash, and shampoo are complimentary. The design is beautiful, but the electricity outlets are standard European style, so don't forget a power converter if you're not local.

Good place to stay, quiet, close to the city center, easy to park in the area (just don't forget to move your car after some hours, otherwise you will easily get a fine). The service was ok. Not a big fan of the breakfast selection and the very few normal tables. Had to eat in a very crowded lounge on low tables.

I really. Liked this hotel and location which although away from the city centre the transport network was excellent, and being close to the water and able to walk along the quay side to the foot ferry to the city centre was a bonus. Room was a bit small but ok for a solo traveller. The idea of having free tea and coffee in the lobby area was good and made a nice change. Definitely recommend this hotel especially if you don't want the hassle of being in the city centre.

A very pleasant Hotel, as all Hotels in this Chain are simply but chic equipped.
What's annoying is the Check-in, which starts on time at 3Pm. Or not. In all Hotels in the World, the Rooms are passed on to the Guests as they can be finished. Here, unfortunately, not. For stalls, breakfast is very cheap and delicious at around 9 Euros.

I was in Stockholm at the End of April 2018. Reasons for the Motel L were: — price performance — Location location to the Festival Venue (Fryhuset — Klubben) — Comparability with well-known M — and Hotels in Germany.
Location: The Motel L is located in the northern and quiet Parts of Hammarby Sjöstad And almost directly opposite Södermalm. The Location, with the Mårtensdal Train stop right in front of the Door, is definitely not as bad as some describe it here. With Line 22, it's just a Stop to the Gullmarsplan hub. From there, countless Buses as well as all 3 "green Lines" (T17, T18 and T19) run in all possible Directions. If this is too "cumbersome, " you just have to take a more central Hotel.
Rooms: Except for the Colour Design Almost identical to that of the "Motel One" chain: Small but fine. Cleanliness Also gave no Reason to Be painted. Only the Housekeeping, which I have only used once, still has Air upwards. At first Glance everything was fine, but smaller Sips could be seen at the second Glance. But again, there is no Reason for me personally to put down the Rating magnificently, as I would have done it that way at Home;-)
The Only Criticism is the very soft Mattress. Initially cosy, but after three to four Days then not really something for my Back.
Breakfast: No Rating as I didn't use it.

I would say perfect for that price! Very polite and smiling staff. The room was always clean, breakfast was good and fresh. The location is quiet and in the same time very comfortable for transportation — there is a tram/bus stop just at the front door!

Super Hotel! Clean, modern, delicious Breakfast, near The city centre. Next to the Hotel is a Supermarket, Pharmacy and a Pub.

Very nice and modern hotel with comfort rooms and a beautiful bathroom. Only minus is the fact that the rooms are quite small. The breakfast is not very elaborate, but of high quality products. The personal is very kind and helpful.

The Motel L is a very affordable Hotel with good Connections to the City.
From Check-In to Check-Out, everything went smoothly. The Staff was friendly and extremely helpful when There were questions in the Room. Suitcases can be parked at the Hotel.
The Rooms are small, but not uncomfortable by a long shot. I have rarely seen as comfortable Beds in a Hotel as I have here! The Bathroom was also well equipped if you don't need a Bathtub. At night it was extremely quiet and also nice dark in the Rooms.
Breakfast costs 90 Kronor if it is not included in the Price. This Investment is worth it though! On the Buffet there are Breads, Cheeses, Meat, Fruits and Cornflakes as well as Coffee, Tea and some Cold Drinks. The Perfect Start to the Day.
The Hotel is located right next to the Martinsdal Tram Station, where you can have a Tram every ten Minutes and get to the City quickly.
I noticed little. As it is, the free WI-FI was relatively slow — but it can be lived with it. It has no Kettle and no coffee/tea in the Room — But available for free in the Lobby. I wanted to use the Air Conditioner for heating in April, but a lot of Heat didn't come out.
All in All, I recommend this Hotel to anyone who doesn't necessarily want to be in the Centre and pay a little attention to their Wallet.

Very well located, for the price is worth paying breakfast and take the sandwich made because it was a 2cafes with sweet are 11 euros average. Very limpito.

If you don't have huge expectations on the room size, it is perfect! The tram stop is in front of the entrance door. It takes less than 15 minutes to get to the central station! Very comfortable! In addition, we have held luggage all day and the check in was rather flexible as hours!

Great very stylish hotel, friendly staff, the beds are the comftiest I've ever slept on. The room doesn't come with any tea or coffee making facilities so that's the only down side also the maid only made the bed back up and didn't swap my sheets until asked, highly recommended not far from the train station and tram stops right outside. Supermarket is right next door. Lidl is just down the road.

Great rooms for all tastes and income, which is not unimportant! The location in the heart is very convenient to get to the most popular tourist attractions.

We are very pleased with this hotel. The service is also very good, I can only continue to miss. Also the transport connections are good, the S-Bahn is right in front of the hotel. Were now the second time in the motel L.

This hotel is so chique' with vibrant colors and a trendy vibe. Their breakfast bar is going to fulfill your expectations and I found the rooms modern and very comfortable. Excellent staff, priced right, super clean, what more could you ask? Catch a local bus, from the metro station and get off across the street. Out of the way but well worth it.

Stockholm! Great hotel. Very clean. Great bathroom. Small wardrobe. Very good beds! The breakfast is very appetizing, something for everyone. Unfortunately the coffee is not my taste!

What a beautiful experience we had at Motel L. It was our first hotel we stayed in after flying for 24 hours to get to Stockholm. The room was adorable and just want we needed! The beds were extremely comfortable and we were able to walk to local restaurants for dinner. Breakfast the next day, while it was an additional cost, was delightful. It was completely worth it and we were full until late afternoon.

The value for money is fantastic; The hotel is modern and clean; The rooms are small but equipped with everything you need for a stay of a few days: 40-inch television, comfortable bed, right heating and bathroom of the right size. The hotel is slightly out of the center, but easily reachable by Metro (there are two stops within ten minutes walking distance) or with a tram that stops right there in front.

Very good hotel, everything is new and the prices are not bad.

The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired on the penultimate day they haven't even gone to redo the room.

Situated in front of the tram station thus it’s easy to go to the city centre. Next to a supermarket and some cafes nearby so it’s easy access to food.
Friendly staff who’s always ready to assist. Room is spacious enough, very clean, super soft bed and fluffy pillows (like sleeping on water).

Not in the city center but bus/tram stop right in front of the building. 15 min Drive to the old City. Rooms are clean and service is perfect. If you're looking for a nice and worthy spot just for the night, this place is top.

Modern, new hotel a little bit out of the main part of Stockholm, but easy access to public bus and tram transit right out front of hotel. Breakfast was included when booking direct and was well laid out and tasty. We figured the breakfast saved us 30 dollars per day in such an expensive city.

Well located to the south of the city centre, a short journey by public transport. Clean, modern rooms. Small but functional but perfectly adequate for the price. Right outside tram station one stop from main metro service, both with frequent services.

Location great for getting everywhere with tram stop just outside the door. Overall everything was great but bed was way too soft for my liking. Disappointed there was no kettle in room. Like to have coffee before being ready to head down for breakfast. Nice decor and friendly staff.

Fantastic staff! The hotel is located right on a tram stop so you can get to basically anywhere in Stockholm in good time. The room was clean, roomy and well designed, but the staff are what really made our stay. They are all so helpful and friendly. Thank you.

Great hotel, not expensive for Stockholm, few metro stops to Gamla Mill.

This bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever laid in. I’m currently struggling to leave it cause it’s so comfy. I normally prefer a hard bed but this is just so comfy. The place also looks really nice and is conveniently located a short walk from the train.

I give a low rating because the beds are horrible, they are so soft it is like sleeping in a hammock. We complained at reception but they say that all the beds of the hotel are the same. The cleaning is mediocre. The breakfast quite justito and the hotel is not right in the center. Very friendly staff.

It asks for wonderful rooms which are a bit small but that makes the shower go away again she is very relaxing the hotel is pretty good and asks for nice restaurants close by.

Nice new hotel with a tram stop right out front so easy to get to from central train station from the green line. Clean new rooms with lots of outlets. Would recommend.

Artsy interior, room has a lot of space, very clean, very comfortable bed. The best part is bathroom with rain shower effect. Also very good location. I would recommend this place any time.

Helpful staff, nice and clean rooms, easy to go by bus, beds are very comfy and free coffee and tea from 11am to 10pm. Also there is a big market next to the hotel so you can easily buy whatever you need. Only downside is that rooms are a bit small, but they are designed so well and lovely that it makes up for it. And lastly prices are VERY good.

Simple. Very clean. Breakfast buffet with good bread and a little salt (no scrambled eggs and bacon, no sausages to be understood) no cappuccino at breakfast. After breakfast, cappuccino tea and herbal teas at will until the evening. Extremely well served by public transport (bus stop 10 metres). If you book early also the price is good.

Recently renovated as of Aug 2017 so everything is new and clean. Really great stay for the value. Only downsides are rooms do not have mini fridge and it's not very central to city but accessible by bus and tram. Not easy to get to from Viking cruise terminal because there aren't any pay stations. Staff is friendly and allowed us to store luggage prior to check-in.

Wonderful hotel 2 minutes away from a gorgeous river with awesome views during sunsets. The rooms are very clean and the staff is extremely nice. I wish I had more pictures to share. Highly recommended.

The first thing I noticed is that the staff is really helpful. We arrived much early but were allowed to check-in without any hassle. The hotel is clean, quiet and well-maintained. The breakfast had decent options and was good. The rooms are nice and comfortable. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel and bus 22B takes you straight to Metro Station Gullmarsplan.

If I could give it 6 stars, I would! Very clean, modern, efficient and well kept hotel at a very affordable price. Included breakfast was fresh and delicious. Location may not be downtown, but the hotel is a 5 minutes walk down the boardwalk to the "Emelie" ferry which brings you right downtown. Hotel is also very well located with groceries, restaurants, a boardwalk and beautiful park within short walking distance.

Modern Hotel design at a price affordable in an expensive city as Stockholm. It is a bit far from the centre of the city, but it arrives quickly by public transport. The breakfast buffet is pretty good, although focused on preparing a few sandwiches with the coffee. Highly recommended to buy the public transportation card in the supermarket ICA, which is under the hotel.

Super! Rooms are small and fine, a bathroom with a rain shower and everything top clean. Very friendly staff. Super Location. Poke — and tram stop directly at the Hotel.

The room has a normal size, all the decor is very modern and neat. The tele is very large and the beds comfortable. The bathroom is small, but well distributed. It also has shower ĺluvia. If you book on their website, breakfast is included in the price of the room. In the hall you can take coffee and tea whenever you want for free.

Overall a good stay. If you are booking from a third party service, breakfast may not be included. The room is small but the beds are comfy. The beds don't pull apart, to its more of a split king bed vs twin beds.

Friendly staff, including Stefan, who gave some great recommendations on where to have a drink in the city. Location a bit out of the center, but still not too far from cool things in the Sodermalm district. Modern, clean rooms and fitness center onsite. Good Wi-Fi throughout the hotel!

Stayed in an apartment for 3 months. Superb Apartment with well maintained equipment. Rooms are cleaned once a week, Free access to laundry room and mini gym. Super easy access to wonderful restaurants in the area and public transportation. Recommended for business visitors, and always remember to explore the beautiful neighborhood.

Nice city hotel, good standard of room for a nice price. Free parking off street is fine although you need to be careful with parking restrictions in the area, but hotel staff are helpful. There is a gym for those who are interested! The bar looked nice but I didn't get round to it.

Neat contemporary modern interior when you walk in, clean basic rooms and very friendly staff. The location is not in the very city but that might be for the best! Just one stop from subway Gullmarsplan; very quick tram transport.

Once you are here, you will actually realised how convenient the location actually is to the center of Stockholm. It is 1 tram stop to Gullmarsplan Station and a few more station to places like Ostermalm, Gamla Stan (Old Town), T-Central etc. As for the Motel room itself, it is a very basic room besides the chic theme. No hot water kettle to boil any water. No cups for drinking. No tissue papers. No minibar. They serve the same breakfast every day. So if you are here for a week or more, do consider some days of having breakfast elsewhere instead of having the same food every morning. And as for the breakfast itself, the spread is quite good actually. Simple, but good. There is the Adidas Factory Outlet Store, Thai restaurant (phuket island), Thai Massage parlour, Italian restaurant, Sushi Restaurant and Subway. All within 5 mins of the Motel. Oh and the tram station is right outside the Motel. So I would give 4/5 for location and 3.5/5 for the room Motel itself.

Everything excellent! … the staff both at reception and at breakfast were always super friendly. The rooms are small but unique. Super clean, comfortable and with a very chic design (scandinavian) course. Not far from the centre and are only a couple of stations in metro and in tram. In the corner is the stop of the tram and runs every 6 minutes. The supermarket is a few steps from the hotel and there are restaurants very nearby. 100% recommended.

At Motel L and other hotel, it has a very modern, funky style and a very economical price, especially in Stockholm. If you want to go sightseeing, outside the hotel there is a tram stop and the hotel is on the canal side, a little farther. Room a bit small, but furniture is very beautiful and very comfortable-even showers for disabled people, extra hands and a stool, generally very good accommodation.

The location is a little off the main attractions and hard to find. But once here, it's actually quite nice. The room is small but tall ceiling. Breakfast is great. The price is quite steep for the location and room.

The rooms are clean with everything you need, but not very spacious. While the hotel is not located in the centre, the metro has a stop right in front of the hotel which brings you in about 15-20 minutes to the centre. Not to expensive, ideal for a citytrip.

Great hotel for a very reasonable price.

New, visually the inside is very nice, modern style Hotel Motel One. Very clean and nice shower. For price/performance is fully satisfactory. Breakfast for 850 SEK per Person (about 9, 50 €) for other circumstances in Sweden are fully sufficient. Parking garage around the corner about 20 €/day is acceptable. Currently construction sites around the building, rather in an industrial zone. To walk in the city centre too far, but tramstation is directly in front of the door (1 Station to U-Bahn). Frequency of public transport is good. Cost acceptable (one way ticket approx 3, 30 €, 72 hours Ticket for approximately € 30 per Person).

Very nice tip as much about design, but it has no refrigerator, no preposterous beds, safe talking wardrobe instead has a 42 room "and is positioned in front of the tram.

Room very clean, just a little, 500 can, including Breakfast. The door is to track The traffic, the Parking, five to nine a. M. Is free.
