Nice hotel in Naka Strand! Really good and quiet little seaside… Negative point is there is not much people working there… new kind of hotel. But nevertheless, We loved it and the bus stop to downtown is 300m away. Perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the charming Hotel J, Nacka Strand, where all the staff went out of their way to exceed expectations. Our room was well appointed & comfortable; breakfast was plentiful & tasty; the sea views were a joy, and the bar well stocked. Transport to the city centre by ferry was straightforward, making sightseeing very easy, & it was great to return "home" to the peace of the island. The hotel has a light and airy nautical feel, with a lounge and "help yourself" kitchen area for snacks and drinks. The grounds stretch down to the shore and contain plenty of chairs and tables for those who simply want to rest and relax. We certainly plan to return to this beautiful boutique hotel.

Great experience from a frequent traveller in Stockholm. This is one of those hotels that is a bit outside of the city but for sure worth staying due to the nature surrounding it. The quality is as good as any other design hotel, and has the benefit of being part of the SPG points scheme. Totally recommend for someone looking for a less "city stay"

Great location. Super close to the ferry. Beautiful views of the water. The conference rooms were very 'jungle lodge'ish. Very enjoyable experience.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location right on the waterfront! Here you can enjoy the mix of metropolis and nature. The price of a room with lake views is totally ok! I wasn't here for the last time!

We are so glad we found this amazing hotel! Its close to best places in Stockholm, but so peaceful and cozy. Staff was very friendly, funny and helpful. I am in love with the Hotel’s decor and design. Wood (the smell of which you feel at the entrance to the hotel), blue and white. Our room was clean and pretty with a comfy bed. Delicious breakfast! We will visit this place again!

Great rooms and nice food. But the location is one of the most beautiful in Stockholm. Sad that the spa and sauna are in other buildings. An sauna with the possibility to swim in the sea would have been outstanding.

Very nice hotel in the style of sailing ships, hence the name "J", which corresponds to a sailing boat class. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is located directly on the waterway and you can see the ships comfortably.
Moreover, from the hotel you can reach the investor and so by boat hyper to the city centre, convenient and easy…

Lovely hotel by the sea, spacious room. The hotel bar is nice to warm up around the fireplace. Breakfast is served in an adjoining building which is just beautiful. Breakfast is simple but effective. The restaurant J below is also a nice surprise.
The hotel is a bit out of the question, which is not necessarily a negative. The ferry ride is typical. Opt for this means of locomotion. The bus is much less enjoyable to reach the center. Count 15-20 minutes in both cases.

Lively and fantastic hotel to explorer Stockholm. The hotel is situated directly at the water with fantastic views. Ferries run during day time (late morning till afternoon) from pier nearby to downtown Stockholm. There is also a bus service throughout the day. The rooms are Nordic-chic and cozy. The restaurant is cosy and blankets are provided for the outdoor tables. Overall an excellent hotel.

Wonderful place, especially if you enjoy taking the commuter ferry into the center of Stockholm as opposed to busses, underground, etc. Highly recommended. The photo was taken from our room.

We stayed for one night and we're very happy with the hotel. It's located quite secluded right outside of town but still with easy access to the city centre via the ferries or only like 15 minute by car. We liked it as it was a bit more quiet and with nicer views. The room was very nice and spacious, very clean and in good condition. We were on the bottom floor but with a little patio style that overlooked a hill which was very nice and felt very secluded. The only negative was the bed was quite hard in our opinion. The staff was very friendly and honest as we managed to retrieve everything we forgot in the safe. The only negative was that the breakfast wasn't great and rather disappointing that most of the food was sold out at the restaurant for our reservation so we had to try to find somewhere else to eat last minute. But we really like the hotel for the most part and would definitely consider staying here again.

Delightful hotel right on the seashore, with a magnificent view over the inner archipelago an Djurgarden. Has a lovely boutique feel. Great breakfast. But beware of the dangerous geese!

Beautiful hotel, directly on the Baltic Sea. Beautiful rooms, very personal atmosphere and their own ur Swedish villa for breakfast. The city of Stockholm is reached with the taxi ferry in less than 20 min.

It´s one of the best hotels I have stay on ever, nice rooms, good staff always smiling, good breakfast, nice restaurant on the marine, low prices, clean, very nice placed near the water where it was possible to take the boat in to the city Stockholm, Djurgärden, the museum Wasa etc. You should very try it, it`s value for the money.

August 2012 — Our stay at Hotel J was very nice: we had a beautiful room with view towards the lake, The setting is just beautiful and we enjoyed our time very much. The hotel is a bit far from the city, but that is ok. Breakfast is very good and the restaurant as well. It was a great choice to visit Hotel J for our trip to Stockhom. Maybe one day again! I recommend Hotel J if you want to visit Stockholm and stay a bit outside from the city, to enjoy the beautiful landscape and surrounding.
