It's a beautiful place, food is tasty, service is admirable. We were welcomed by Ms. Imaza and she is quite a nice person and very efficient. We extended our stay because the welcome was very good.

Worst hotel ever! Worst staff, worst service. Easy just don’t book here-I stayed for 5 days and the reception call the room 10times everyday for silly things it’s so annoying-rudest staff specially the receptionist — they don’t put tissues in the rooms and didn’t change the towels even if I ask them-i should ask them everyday for an iron and wait more than 1 hour have it-something bomb in a tiny bathroom front of the kitchen and the apartment was fulled of water * if there’s less than I star I will give them.

Bossy Concierge desk people. Not helpful at all. They arevery lazy. Less respect on locals. I asked the help to find an apartment, but he gave me instructions to follow. Then I got lost & ended up in another appartment. I came back to them & asked help again. That bossy man almost shouted at me for not following his instructions. But the lady staff there very kind & helpful.

Had a very good stay experience here. The manager, booking reservation team very helpful and catered to all our needs. They have a beautiful swimming pool & the rooms are top notch.

Booked a three bedroom apartment on my last visit to Sri Lanka in mid April 2018. We got ours on the 7th floor. Great location with great views of the city. Great amenities — spa, restaurant, gym, pool. Bank, shopping and restaurants available on ground floor. Very helpful and courteous staff. Had a few issues with missing appliances such as a toaster, cooking utensils and ironing facilities. These issues were quicly corrected by attentive staff. Parking can be tricky but a on site car park with a car lift is available. You can excahange foreign currency at front desk — very helpful. They even gave a great exchange rate!. Highly recommended for families, specially with children. Very secure. Will definitely go back.

Well located, good, clean serviced apartments. The Apartments are furnished nicely and well maintained — except for Kitchen section which needs to be better organized. Room service was slow — approx timing given was always 20 mins although food always took close to 45 to arrive. The quality of food, however. Was good. Kind friendly staff were always on hand eager to create a pleasant experience. Not much waiting time for the 2 lifts that catered to the building. Pool was under maintenance when I stayed; however the Residence made arrangements to use the pool at the Kingsbury Hotel. An overall pleasant stay.

We stayed one night here for my birthday. We've stayed at The Kingsbury before, but as we had our son with us, we thought we'd try the residences. The apartments are certainly very comfortable, smart and chic. But it's often the small things that count. We requested bowls to use for our muesli and after calling a second time, they were finally brought. I was then horrified to discover that they were all dirty. I only discovered this as I washed a speck of dirt off the one and then realised it was slimy… even on the outside, like it has just been rinsed. They were all like that! We also had a nice dinner meal ordered to our flat and then called for the plates to be removed. They told us to leave them outside the door. They were still there when we retuned from shopping at 11am the next day! These little things leave one with a bad aftertaste.

Value for money, neat and tidy serviced apartments in the heart of the city with all basic amenities. Room for improvement with their service though.

Rooms are really bad and not clean, the construction noise never seems to end. Overall please don't go here!

I would give a 0 Star review if it wasn't for the rooms. The rooms are very modern clean spacious overall great in terms of what is available in Colombo. The service on the other hand is subpar an utter disgrace. I organised a car transfer from the airport which they forgot about and I was left stranded at the airport. Check in was horrible, I felt like I was wasting the check-in clerks time. Ordering room service was a nightmare everything that arrived was incorrect and when I checked out I waited almost 1 hour for a bellboy who never arrived I ended up taking all my bags down by myself. I will not be staying here in the future. I highly recommend Hilton residence for any travellers with families, the service is far superior and the rooms although a little bit older are still excellent.

Awful apartments, if I could give it minus zero I would. Please do not believe the "5 star" reviews. You will be wasting your money on a horrible construction site, with endless banging and drilling EVERY SINGLE DAY even on Sundays. Check Tripadvisor for "real reviews" of guests who all complain of the horrendous construction noise in this place. You will not get a single moment of peace and will leave absolutely traumatised. How can they advertise a place that is nowhere near being complete and charge people money to stay here? What is the point of having a sea view from your apartment if you can't enjoy it? The drilling and banging went on till 9pm at night on some nights. I would not even stay here for free! I wrote to the General Manager about this issue but I hear absolutely nothing has been done. Go elsewhere for your own sanity!
