Great food in beautiful surroundings! We spent 2 evenings watching the World Cup ⚽️ in a very chilled atmosphere! Loved to chat with the lovely owner! ☺️

Worst food experience ever! We came here for dinner and the food was so bad, poorest food quality of all items. Half of my salad was brown, the french fries was raw and the beef of the burger was though and streaky. You can’t serve as a restaurant old, scruffy food. Moreover the food was super expensive for Sri Lanka conditions!

The closest you get to a chic and upscale establishment in the south west coast. Had the salad and Mahi Mahi dish. The salad was a bit blend missing some zestiness but the fish was excellent. The fish was cooked to perfection and that puree with Wasabi is simply amazing. To drink I had the pineapple mint shake which is a beautiful combination and very refreshing. Will definitely come back to try other dishes and maybe also their famous brownies. I give it only 4 stars as the service was not very good.

Went out of season so it was a bit quiet. Didn't have a meal but the fruit juices/snacks were great.

This place is hidden by the main road in front of the beach. It’s very private. You have a car parking. It’s comfortable and service is perfect. The pineapple juice with mint and coconut water is amazing and I do recommend you to try. Price is also good for the location and place!

The paneer fattoush salad was old wilted lettuce with little flavour and no seasoning. The beef burger ok. Overall pretty disappointing given all the good reviews but then again, it is end of season.

Probably the best place to grab dinner in Kabalana. This place serves tasty upscale food. You can come on for lunch too and have a mini version of the menu, but you'll definitely find more to choose from in the evening. The food tends to be a bit overcooked and somewhat dry (we tried the burger and chops) but it's overall very tasty and worth the visit. Prices are high as you would expect them to be.

Great garden — not good food.

Nice and calm location. Had nicely grilled tuna. Wife got histamine poisoned (headache, skin rash etc) from her tuna though.

A first visit disappointed us: The service was very slow while we were alone and the order did not ask for such a time of preparation (some fruits and toast). On our second visit we were just forgotten, certainly because this time there were two other people to serve…

A wretched place. Ordered rice and chicken kari. Brought in 15 minutes-ordinary boiled rice and the similarity of chicken kari (one water and vegetables well and three slices of chicken centimeter per centimeter). Kari and No. Price 700 Rub.

Really liked the decor at this place (very similar style to the LEON chain). Food was just ok and quite pricey by Sri Lanka standards (although not compared to Europe! ), and the options are very limited for those who don't eat fish. They have some nice postcards to purchase for 250LKR.

Quiet place despite its location on the galle-matara road. We only stop for a drink after surfing in Kabalana. Didn't try the food. But we had delicious and refreshing juices.

Beautiful colonial house decorated with a lot of taste, and the food is delicious, very elaborate at very reasonable prices! Deserts are excellent, they have a very good brownie with vanilla ice cream, banane flambée with local variation etc. Highly recommended!

Whow, expensive, but recommended. Great service, good fish dishes. Was more often in Ceylon, was always satisfied.

The ambiance is excellent. It was disappointing that the food was not as good as we expected. But if your looking for a quite, calm and peaceful place to have a drink or a meal, I think this place will be a good choice.

Very nice Place, prices a little high (7€ per Portion, you will hardly get enough), you may like to take a Fruchtcocktel and enjoy the surroundings.

Excellent service and quite stunning location. Really worth a visit. Rooms are on the expensive side for the passing traveller but worth a little luxury.

I thought it was brilliant. I loved the oysters. It is the find of the year. So is the guest house they run. Takes one back to childhood — a perfect place to be. Lovely small wallawa with a mada midulla — clean and cross flow not messed with So cool don't need a/c all for the best going rates in the island. And to top it all great body surf and surfing beach. What more does one want. There is more — a perfect host as well.
