Beautiful view and the people.

Mount view cottage, located in a steep mountaintop offers you scenic view of the mountain range beyond from the rooms. View from the balcony is somewhat disturbed by the dotted rooftops of buildings below. Due to its location, it has been built in split levels. Rooms are average size with comfy beds, two leisure chairs, coffee table and a TV. A minibar would be stocked on request, or you can take your stuff. Kettle and Tea& coffee also would be provided on request. Those who are used to formal service of professional hotel staff will firstly get disturbed by the way staff here handle things. You would soon realize they are far better accommodating than professionals, going out of the way to satisfy you. All the staff from manager down the line will do everything from reception to room service. I forgot my razor, and one of them offered me to go to the nearest boutique to buy me one. The boutique is 1 km down the hill, and he has to walk. (of course, I politely declined) The road leading to the hotel is steep and treacherous. If you are driving, get your adrenaline going and pump the pedal while taking U bends. It is entertaining. Their food is average with limited selection. The chef will dish out local, Asian and some Italian meals on order from the menu. Wi-Fi available in the reception area.

Difficult to travel, but has a nice view. Friendly staff.

Rip-off during off-season. Aging building needs serious remodeling. No Wi-Fi in rooms. Gouging prices for dreary tea and breakfast (cook on vacation and greedy one-man show does everything). The kitchen where meals are cooked is a small room with ancient appliances/utensils that is a health and fire hazard. Running water intermittant. If you have foreign standards, don't go here even for a low-ball price.

A very beautiful clean place! the staff is friendly. Even the room, wash room is clean an tidy… prize of the room is also reasonable and affordable. We stayed only one day comfortable place not so far from Nuwaraeliya town also! Recommending this place to others also.

Highly recommend that place. Little away from the town but View of the balcony was amazing. If you need to see the whole the area of the nuwara Eliya, this is the place that you need to choose. Helpful staff and clean and comfortable rooms. Small Hotel but felt like luxury one.

Amazing Balcony view, Comfortable rooms with Heaters. Very friendly Staff. Little away from the town but best place for get wonderful, quite and Natural view in Nuwara Eliya.

Serene location at the edge of the Mount Pedru.

Quality bed, hot water and heating with a view of mountain for 27USD 3 km away from cargils food city and bus station ask them to arrange tuk tuk then it is cheaper.

There are two routes, But make sure you go from the N'eliya town side. And I am not satisfied with the hospitality. Food is not good. But has a good view from the balcony.

We came on bad weather. Road is hell.

Superb cottage in Nuwara Eliya. I stay with my family. We ware enjoy lots. Very beautiful location. Surrounding tea plantations and high forest. Evening very cold and coming mist time to time. 2.5 kms away from city center. Road access little hard but when I reach the place I forget that. Amazing place and beautiful greenery surrounding. After few steps we ware start nature hiking highest mountain in srilanka. It was fantastic experience in my life. Memory of beautiful nature sunset with big trees, Wild flowers and small water falls. Hiking for tea plantation only 300 meters from cottage. I would like to stay my coming college vacation. Thank to all.

No driver accomadation. The road is a hell.
