GOOD Rooms were quite good. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was fairly good. Parking was available. BAD The worst place I ever stayed in Nuwara Eliya. As a businessman, I know how a negative review affects a business. But I must say below things to future guests. And the Hotel Management can indeed improve below issues, if they're really looking to provide a great service. Let's start from the Staff. There was a guy with a beard at the front desk, who was not friendly at all. And the staff really doesn't know what they're doing. Not trained enough. (except for a couple of guys who were at least friendly) If you're ONLY looking to spend a night, this place is fine. BUT if you're looking to stay, have a drink and a chat with your travel buddies, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. They do not make arrangements for guests to have a drink. And there are no balconies spacious enough even to put a chair. We had to have a chat and a drink inside our room, while our kids couldn't sleep. And when asked for an "Ash Tray", they looked like they've never heard of it. And provided me with an empty bottle jam with some soil in it. Nothing much in their menu to order. So had to go all the way to the town to get something proper to eat. don't stay on bb. Their breakfast is a joke! only book the room for stay. They're ripping you off with their bb package. Yes, they don't want you to eat much. They only provide a breakfast for you to survive the morning. No taste.

Amazing location in front of Gregory lake and next to Indian summer restaurant which provides Halal food.

This place gets such bad reviews that I was nervous about staying. I have never inspected a room so carefully and can report that it was clean, the bed was very comfortable with soft pillows and light duvet. There was no smell, no mosquitos and no mould. It was a reasonable midrange option and as comfortable as most. There are problems. There is no lift but steps to the entrance, a steep ramp to first floor and steps to second and third floors. The lobby is small and narrow but our check in was efficient and we got complimentary drinks. Our room had no towels but we asked the young men who were industriously cleaning halls for towels and they were brought immediately. The hotel is quite noisy but no worse than many others. The breakfast buffet is random and not the best. We did see guests quite happy with a plate of cakes and spaghetti which was their choice after all. The service is friendly and nice but not properly trained and so you have to ask for tea and coffee serviettes etc whilst they stand wondering what to do. They forgot to clean our room but were most apologetic and brought water and coffee and tea making ingredients on request. The view is lovely but note the hotel is about a mile out of town.

Good hotel… Keep it up. Staffs are very friendly… Stay money worthy.

Its an awesome place for a stay which can be booked for a cheap price with best services and facilities.
