Most of the time the owner is drunk and the door of the room that my clients (newly married french couple) were stayed, could not be locked, @ mid night the drunk owner has entered the room few times without knocking. Once the client blame on him he had said sorry. One of the worse hotel in nuwara eliya. I don't know how did they get the approval as a tourist hotel. This drunk owner destroys tourism industry in Sri lanka. So think twice before make your reservation. The owner will definitely spoil your holiday.
I went there last December, 2017. Terrible road. Damaged my front bumper and left side skirting and It cost me more than the room price to repair my car. The owner (maybe a staff personal) not friendly as on the reviews. Also this place is far away from the city center and no nearby restaurants, shop or anything and it`s just located at an isolated place. If emergency happens it is very very very dangerous to drive back to the main road from that hotel (Specially at night) because it is too narrow and if has rained, very slippery. Please do not ever recommend such a place to anyone.

My friends and I stayed here for 2 days somewhere in the middle of October. The hotel owner was friendly and humble. We had had a lot of great conversations and we enjoyed the view from the hotel and the weather. It’s a nice stay after we visited Horton Plains National Park. The room was cozy. Great hospitality and homey atmosphere.
