Stopped off here for lunch. Some of the best rice and curry we’ve had in Sri Lanka! Fantastic lake side views and great service. Loved it.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, warm accommodation in a cold place.

Location is good, outdoor seating has a great view of the lake. But extremely slow service, seem to be understaffed yet overpriced. Foods just average.

The location of this restaurant is highly unique considering it is located directly next to Gregory lake. It looks as if it is almost a part of the Gregory Park too. This place offers a lovely outdoor dining area. However, the rates seem a bit too high considering the quality of the food as well as the quality of the establishment. Therefore, only a handful of local travelers would choose this place. Although, the place is relatively popular among foreigners.

The service was excellent, professional, and prompt. The coffee is quite good and the pizzas were delicious. The view from the garden is also nice.

Used to be THE place to dine in nuwara eliya. Now theres new staff, and they are bad. Im not even exaggerating.

Pathetic! Not even worth a star. Went there for lunch. We got a table instantly but had to wait for 35m just to get it cleared. The servers walk pass you but they will attend to the fair skinned ones next to you. The staff is extermly rude and the manager was pathetic. I had to finally go looking for the manager just to get someone to take out order. The places wasn't packed but the staff pretends to be extremely busy. The manager wasn't even interested in talking said I could leave if I wanted to. We left after 40m of sitting there like we don't deserve to be here. My advice avoid this place. The staff could first learn some courtesy. This place is only for the fair skinned.

If you doesn’t have a good temper you shouldn’t enter here or maybe you can use this place as a good opportunity to improve your temper. If you want to have a snack or lunch probably you’ll spend around 2 hours here. The staff will notice you after 30 mins and it will take another 30 mins to food to arrive and again waiting for bill 30 mins and waiting for change another 30 mins. When it comes to food it’s pretty average just think this place costs twice as a normal place in Sri Lanka and we hope at least the food must good but I can’t even describe the feeling when I have a bite of their tasteless food. This place used to be a great hangout place but now just a waste of space. I admit they have a nice place but they can do so much better. Let’s hope along the time this place will back to its former glory.

Food was really terrible. Instant soup and instant sauce for devilled chicken. Fried rice was raw. They did not have any curries. Service was ok.

New staff, bad service. Used to be my favourite place in nuwara eliya. Wont be coming back again. Wont recommend anyone either.

Halal food. Average in taste. Service was good. Nice wash room.

AVOID! Classic tourist trap. If your driver brings you here, just don't go in… food is terrible, bland and overpriced. There are plenty of better options in town.

Quality food offers there. Price is little bit high. But They don't use aginomoto for food. That is good for health.

Food is good (except the pizza). Definitely try the devilled chicken. Service is excellent. Rooms are nice, bathroom is a little outdated. There are no facilities expect the restaurant and your room. Located next to the lake which is highly overrated.

We got two chalets. Very good rooms. One of our room had minor issue's. They maintain the garden well. Walking distance to Parks and guests Can easy access to parks from hotel. Food dont have a Variety (Breakfast).

中国人不要进这个餐馆！ 这里的服务生歧视华人。all the Chinese do not even steps into this restaurant！！They discriminate against Chinese，the waiter here feel sick. Other white guys later than we come here. But have already finished the meal. The waiter do not serve us at all. Even we call him many times. We suffer unfair treatment.

The setting is incredible in terms of view. And the service was nice. But the lunch itself was quite disappointing. The rice portions were tiny and over priced, and I'm not sure how prawn curry over fried rice constitutes as biriyani, but I didn't get that anyway. No, I got the pizza which was disappointing on a whole other level. 11"… I think not. Also the chicken tasted really strongly of mackerel. No clue why. Could be they tempered the onions in a previous fish dish? And sooooo oily. But in a bad way. Sigh… don't go for the garlic bread either.

Calamander Lake Gregory, Peradeniya-Badulla-Chenkaladi Highway, Nuwara Eliya, I did not like the place; it's too small and very on weekends.

The food is over priced and it's not that good. The service is very slow. A fried rice costs Rs. 880. Don't even step into this restaurant. It seems to be a very good restaurant from its external appearance. But you realize the truth when you go in… Really disgusting…

This is a cozy place to stay when in Nuwara Eliya for a few days. The cabin like bungalows are right on the lake on a nicely kept rolling lawn property. It's fairly quiet considering it's off the main road, and the lake itself provides a peaceful setting. There is a walking path that runs between the property and the lake, open to the public. Great for a casual stroll or jog. The dining here is enjoyable, mainly cuz of the location. You can sip your coffee or tea, and stare off onto the lake and the scenery beyond. Sometimes you can see the jet skis zipping around, or boats paddling by. The food is alright, nothing spectacular. The breakfast is your standard eggs and toast and sausages. The eggs are however cooked well, and just right. Fruit platters and juices. Decent pizzas are available during dinner. The service is a bit odd. Though they are attentive and quick, the staff seem disinterested, and sometimes annoyed. Doesn't feel very welcoming, but it's not that big of a deal. Just weird.

Stayed here during my honeymoon and really enjoyed. A very charming and tranquil location with breath taking views of the lake right opposite your room. Excellent Service and good food. The breakfast was really amazing. Had a great time.

Place is amazing. The room wood squeeking and noisy and no room service. But worth it.

Ideal place for me to spend my free time. So quite environment. Nicely faced to lake view. (room no:8).
