Amazing experience here, excellent food, service and hospitality. Love this intimate gem that is tucked away from the more touristy areas. The jackfruit sri lankan curry was wonderful. Would love to try it again.

I hade been at the Change Hotel for an overnight stay with my family. The place was cozy, cool and comfortable especially the view of the city from the swimming pool area. I love the simple decor and the warm hospitality. Rooms were neat and clean and pretty well-maintained too.

Located in the suburbs with a beautiful view… comfortable room but away from the central body. Good food and great breakfast.

I'm an Indian tourist on a holiday, visiting places. I was put up at the change. I'm apprehensive as the change reminded me of the American Obama campaign & another the scene in home alone when the movie goes 'keep the change you filthy animal. ' It's two buildings with a staircase. Came as a group of six with sixteen pieces of luggage on a stopover. For an Indian tourist there is no Pooja room the buildings are not built according to sacred science of vastu. Let alone a yoga room to practice sun salutations. But I'm made to believe western tourists accommodate eccentric accommodations and make do with hospitality. Me I'm better off searching for more accepting accommodation that caters to the like of the 'Indian tourist'

It was a lovely place in the hills of kandy. Finding the place on the map is bit hard so better to get directions from the hotel. Once you get there u will get amazed by its location and the interior. 10 out of 10

Nice hotel on the rooftops of Kandy.
From the balconies of the rooms you have a wonderful view.
We were greeted nicely. The rooms are kept simple but very nicely decorated with old wooden furniture.
The pool offers a nice refreshment. Due to the palm trees, bushes and flowers it is clear that there is something in the pool. But that was not a problem for us.

Breakfast was solid, the dinner was delicious. There was no problem getting something to eat for our 11 month old son.
The owner and the staff were very cordial to us and to our little ones.
I would advise you not to travel without a car, as it is partly very steep. The road is more of a gravel track from a certain point. :D
The rooms are a bit noisy but we could still sleep without any problems.
What we absolutely did not like is that next to the hotel every now and then the trash, also plastic bottles, were burned. :-/

The rooms are pretty decent. The view is good. You get hot and cold water. There is no kettle or Wi-Fi in the rooms. The hotel manager's attitude is pretty bad and biased. He is arrogant and ill mannered against the guests. He was not willing to provide bottled water for breakfast nor juices that were provided to other guests. There are no lifts in the hotel and the stairs are narrow. So, if you have heavy luggage, be prepared to carry them up and down the stairs during check-in and check-out process.

Small Hotel on the heights of Kandy, nice but difficult access, you eat well and the view is superb.

Nice place having amazing view on a top of mountain. In the night time have the view of Kandy City. Little away from Kandy City. But very cool and nice nature and clean atmosphere with clean and nice rooms with view of Kandy City. Friendly staff and very good food with different variety. Issue more food than the money you pay. Owner is very kind and friendly person with warm welcome and helpful to anybody coming to his place. Good value for the money you pay for what they offer.
