Very bad experience. Food was not Good… rooms were also not well managed. We booked 4 rooms… And in some of the rooms they didn't have AC… and in some room they didn't provide blankets… even thogh the prices of all rooms were same.

Mount Palace has the most spectacular view and large terrace. You can see everything and watch the big buddah lit up at night. My room was large, clean and very comfortable. The homemade food (traditional Sri Lankan or Western) was delicious and served with so much love and care. Gihan (the owner) was incredibly welcoming & helpful. I needed a desk to work so he arrange one in my room with a view over my balcony and Kandy city below. He also arranged a friend to take me to see the elephants after my own arrangement fell through, plus got me a reserved ticket for the train to Ella when the station had said they were sold out! A great place to stay and a 7 min walk to the centre of town (good to get a Tuk Tuk back up as the hill is steep — hence the amazing view! ).
