Makes a year that I spent there and I loved the hotel. The staff super nice especially a receptionist called Roberto. Everything was super clean, Buffett quality, great room, we also had a problem with a window in the morning and when we came back it was already arranged. I can say that is one of the best hotels in which I stayed, and I make several trips a year. Perfect location, bus stop at the front door. We are already planning to return.

Fabulous hotel. Staff so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are spotlessly clean and very modern. Highly recommendable.

Really lovely hotel. The rooms are nice and neat, and all the staff are really friendly. Loved the swimming pool, but it's not heated and the rooftop bar is a delight. Only issue is that we didn't have tea or coffee facilities in our room but it was great apart from that.

Despite the anger of my last visit last weekend, I am still giving this hotel a 4 star review. It is not the first time I have stayed at this particular hotel, as I travel to Valencia very often. I like this hotel and the staff is very accommodating. It is well located, it has a taxi stand right outside and it is a modern hotel. I have never eaten here, but the menu is not very appetizing. The bar is quite nice and they always show sports which is a plus. Rooms are tastefully decorated but very simple. The toilet has its own cubicle and the bath tub is directly opposite the sinks and vanity mirror. There is a cupboard in the entrance which holds storage space and a mini bar. The room has a sliding dividing door to separate the toilet. The room itself is nice and elegant. A desk with a higher and lower section. A nice designer chair and TV. The beds are not amazing, but they are within the norm of Spanish hotel rooms. My main issue with this hotel is that a majority of the double rooms have single beds and despite calling in advance to ensure I got a double bed in my room I still got a twin. Which meant I was only able to sleep on one of the two beds in my room. When I called I was told by a young lady that she would make a note on my booking and ensure that I would have the bed I wanted. On arrival, after a long day of work on Friday evening, I was told that this note was not on my booking and that I was not getting a double bed as requested and booked.

Friendly staff and modern facilities. The rooftop bar is a must… good mojitos too! Special thanks to Sandra for making us feel at home.

Nice hotel to stay in Valencia. Good to stay while in working or in vacations with family. Nestled in a night life area where you can find as good restaurants as trendy bares. You can easily find the best places to meet local people.

We were yesterday at the spa circuit, and well… Because for starters, the staff is bland as could be. The circuit is a little sad and then the massage, without wanting to, without pressure, listening to a musicota background, … And.

Beautiful place to spend the holidays. Nice staff, nice rooms. I was there for a holiday and I must say that I had a great time. Valencia is a great city and this hotel is in a strategic and convenient location to be able to visit everything. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the staff nice and quiet. I would go back quietly.

We visited the rooftop bar. The view was fabulous. However, it had been a rainy day therefore we rang in advance because we were paying for a taxi especially to go there. However, when we arrived firstly, the bar staff wouldn't extend the awning because of the (absolutely non existent) wind and when we tried to order a drink the staff said (at 10:30pm) that they were unable to serve us a drink because of the rain!? We wouldn't have bothered paying for the taxi to go there if the reception had given us the correct information but mainly it's annoying that the bar staff seem to be able to dictate on a whim when they feel like serving or not. I would only recommend that you come here to check the view and then leave.

The hotel Barcelo in Valencia is located in a magnificent place very close to the fabulous city of Arts and science. It comprises one of so many hotels in the area so touristy.
It has spectacular public transport connections which favors the tourist movement to the center of the city for very low cost.
Very clean and preserved area besides having the hospitality and good service of the professionals of the hotels as well as of the establishments of restoration that is in the vicinity.

Last Saturday, may 12, we celebrate the communion of our daughter in this fantastic hotel, which we had already bet earlier in his christening and the communion of his older sister. It was magical to get to the salon and see all of the loving care with which they had prepared everything… we Were very comfortable and the dinner was great, we loved it so much to older as to young… The sorbet of fruits of the forest, exotic and refreshing, liked it a lot. And at the end of the night, how not to, and went up to the terrace to enjoy stunning views. I want to highlight the impeccable attention of the waiters, Adrian, Veronica and Vero, the chef Risto, the maître d ' James, the chefs Paul and Fernando and of course thank you to Jose its management, for having taken into account each of our demands. And thanks also to Alexander for recommend us this hotel which is always a safe bet. Thanks to you all!

Unimpressed right at the check in. Front desk wasn’t honest about my room type, the waiting time to get the room, and about the fact that the hotel pool was closed even though it was advertised on their website. When challenged why the pool was closed if the website mentioned pool, I was told it’s because it was out of season. I then asked for discount or some sort of compensation and the front desk staff was beyond casual and dismissive about it to the point that the female front desk personal make bad remarks about me, in Spanish, to her supervisor. Unfortunately, for her disgrace I speak Spanish and understood everything. I surely gave the useless-being and her team a hard time after that. Very unprofessional and unacceptable. We’re moved rooms twice and I can confirm they’re also very average. The first room we had two jointed noisy single beds instead of a king sized bed. I asked for proper bed and hotel said they were full. I insisted as I arrived quite early and even if they were full the other guests would arrive after 2pm. I got a new room but the beds were still jointed beds and noisy (they lied about it). By then I realised they were Useless and had no grasp of hospitality and service. Based on their lack of transparency, honesty and ability to handle customers, I’d advise people not to stay there. I surely will never stay on that chain ever again so.

Super Hotel with a central location. Breakfast is really a dream for "Spanish conditions. " The rooms are super equipped. To the beach there is about 30 minutes walk to the center about the same time (depending on the speed of the step). All in all a good hotel for a city break.

As a hotel that advertises itself as upscale it's sure missing a lot. The rooms are small and feel cheap. The a/c rarely works and feels like it's controlled building wide rather than individually within each room. The location is nice though, located near the Opera House and close taxi ride to the beach.

Good place. Cosy atmosphere, elegant and at the same time informal. Good value for money Ideal to go in couple or family meal. The toilets are usually quite clean as well as in general the Local. The bartenders were quite friendly and helpful. The time to wait for you to attend is small.

The room with good views of the City of Arts and Sciences. Comfortable bed. A terrace at the top of the buildings with better views yet. The room was very clean. Reception very correct. I didn't catch parking but I didn't have a hard time parking around the area. Quality/price well.

If you want to see some of the best views of Valencia climb to the top of this hotel, where you will find a terrace where you can enjoy even pleasant place with a view of the city of the unbeatable sciences. Very professional staff especially the metre who attended us at dinner which was attentive at all times. Recommended 100%

We sleep in double communicated rooms, totally recommended for families or to go in group. Quiet Hotel without noise, ideal to go in Fallas or to visit the City of Arts and Sciences. Breakfast is a bit expensive, but I recognize that it is very complete and varied (sweet, salty, natural orange juice, smoothies…).

The amount of detail in the room: a vase with dried flowers in a corner, rocks in another, lighting of the few hotels with a shower… And the breakfasts superb: freshly squeezed juice, variety of juices, cheeses, pastries, jams, fruits… And decoration with good views. Do a paste? The only tall building in the middle and that takes away a bit of the view.

We slept in connecting double rooms, fully recommended for families or to go in a group. Quiet Hotel without noise, ideal for a Failure or to visit the City of Arts and Sciences. The breakfast is a little expensive, but I recognize that it is very full and varied (sweet, salty, fresh orange juice, smoothies…).

The hotel is perfect. It has a fantastic terrace with wonderful views. The beds very comfortable and the whole room. Obviously there will be hotels better, but if you look at the price/quality ratio this Barcelo to me is the best.

We have been at a work lunch at La Caixa and wanted to highlight how appetizing and well presented all the dishes were. Also a very good service on the part of the waiters. Eduardo, I think remember, I do not hesitate to offer a dish of soft diet to a colleague who was not well. Everything was great. Highly recommended!

We were in the week. Santa with our children. The perfect hotel. Terrace with great views and bar with very good cocktails. Highlight the service. Of. Restaurant as when we went down to dinner it was all full but the waiter Javier offered to take something very kindly on the bar while we waited. These details make a difference. Gastronomy of. A lot of level. Definitely repeat!

Very modern design and in a fashionable area of Valencia. High priced Hotel with surcharge for requesting room with a view. The terrace is spectacular with the views. The breakfast is awesome and the attention very good too.

We spent a weekend at the hotel in early March and everything was great! I stay with the location (right in front of the city of science and with easy access to downtown), the friendliness of all the staff and with one of the best buffet breakfasts we have ever tasted in a hotel! :)

Buffet breakfast is great. Rooms are elegant. Bathroom cannot be locked it's designed in such way. Good Location for a morning or evening walk.

Maybe he lacked some information to make the circuit.
Recommending the massage, it has been a wonderful experience, it hurts that I have not asked the name to put it because it deserves a recognition.

Only the roof terrace visited, a really great view of the city of Science, this is also particularly illuminated, on the terrace there was a bar, sunset was also very impressive.

The location was really nice, Ciudad de las artes y de las ciencias, there is a shopping center really close, the centre was not so far away, the size of the rooms were comfortable and it was clean.

Last weekend my husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary, it was quite a surprise to find details in the room, an incredible room service and a complete spa pack that turned these days into happy memories.

It was a really nice stay that we spent at this hotel. We were a group of friends to relax, spend a night and enjoy at the SPA. Exceeded our expectations, it was what we were looking for. I won't hesitate to recommend it. Thank you so much for everything.

Great hotel. The treatment of all the employees is very nice and the facilities are top notch. The luxury breakfast overlooking the opera is amazing.

Great location with beautiful views of the city from the 10th floor. Next to the opera and the bus 19 in front of the door goes to the centre and to the port or the sea. Breakfast very good. Room was fine.

A great hotel in terms of services and friendliness, not to mention the location. Ideal to spend a few days with the children and see Oceanografic, Science Museum and Hemisferic.

Good facilities and good hotel. I found only one flaw: they had a water cut from 9 to 19 hours and have no water deposits for these cases.

Good hotel, rooms are spacious and clean. Breakbeat is also great. Location is good, it is a little bit far from the city center but it is next to The City of Arts and Sciences. I would give this hotel a 5 stars but the personal is not on that level. It is unacceptable that personal that is in direct contact with the guest don't speak English.

Stayed here 7 nights during the Moto GP. As usual the Bar elp group have lovely hotels. This one is more business than tourist but it's still a great place. The rooms are superb. Only issue was the spa is only open at certain days so you need to plan your visit. Great stay though and staff and housekeeping friendly.

Room at first sight nice and comfortable but at a closer examination the cleanliness leaves to be desired and not a little views of the stars that the hotel boasts, but redeems it with an enviable location and a spa at the top floor which is worth the stay.

Very happy to have stayed here. The hotel looks very nice in and out. Breakfast was good. Location is optimal midway between the old city center and the beach area. The rooftop pool was slightly disappointing though. Another plus is that you can rent bikes in the hotel directly.

Staff was good and spoke English. Views from the rooms facing west are excellent. Tenth floor is a bit of a mess. There's supposed to be a pool, but in reality it's more of a glorified oversized bathtub. Also, there are only a handful of lounger chairs around the pool, serving 180 rooms — one can imagine there's never space. Staff at the Spa as well as the bar on the tenth floor was relatively passive.

The Barcelo Valencia is a reasonably nice hotel. It's comfortable and well-appointed but has something of an industrial feel. Not very cozy and a bit Spartan and appointments. But safe and relatively well located!

Great hotel in a superb location to visit both the marina and the old town. The only disappointment was that the roof top pool didn't open till 11-11:30 and when your only there 3 days you want to be able to enjoy this is a morning before heading off to visit the sites.
The open top bus is a great way to travel around the city and see the sights and is €17 for a day or €19 for 48hrs. A city that I would recommend everyone visit, it's beautiful! We will be visiting this place again.

Beautiful hotel with THE best location. Very pleasing design with awesome features. They have a spectacular view available from the roof top! The elevators are expedient. The service is great as well. We loved the remote operated blackout shades! The only negative is that they don't have irons and you have to use their laundry services which they do not disclose upon check in. There is a 50% upcharge to have your clothing ironed and returned in an hour. I would appreciate being told of such a non conventional policy. They have bike rental in the lobby and also souvenirs for purchase but they are not authenticated as made in Spain. We are staying here again.

We checked in yesterday with a very friendly and helpful Roberto. We were a little upset to find the main reasons we booked the hotel for our New Years Eve break weren't available 1) Rooftop wasn't open 2) no pool without a surcharge of 36e for the spa and 3) no high speed Wi-Fi included We are very pleased to say though that on speaking with Juan the manager of the hotel the morning after he resolved the Wi-Fi and said he would make the rooftop available, which really went some way to making our stay here what we anticipated which was nice. The bar down stairs the staff are friendly and were happy to help with finding a nice wine. The rooms are lovely and clean and the views are amazing, the location is really convenient. My faith in the Barcelo chain has been restored and I'm now looking forward to the next five days. Thank you team Barcelo Valencia.

A stone's throw from the City of Arts and science, if you ask for the room with a view it is a sight. Great service, excellent restaurant.

I stayed for 3 nights and thought the hotel was good. Okay the rooftop bar is a bit pricey but still ok. Hotel very clean and all staff polite &helpful. Didnt bother with breakfast. Lots of cafes nearby. Bathroon setup requires that you know your fellow guests rather well. All in all I would recommend.

As for the reception, are all very nice, highlight a boy with glasses that I don't remember his name, also another girl named Sandra, very nice. The room was a junior suite and was quite noticed well, lack of lockers, also found some visitors at night. Small cockroaches. At reception you said when we were leaving and they felt so much. And we were told that we had to say before and we changed room. Das hotel very expensive and scarce, €92 dinner a theft to be a Barceló. My opinion I return no more. —.

We had booked a double room but on arrival they give us a room with two single beds stuck together. Despite complaints, wonderingly tell us that nn always the double can be guaranteed. I ask for a room that gives the Science Park instead of the back part and ask me 16 euro extra! I give up. Wonder how much is breakfast: 16 euros per person and 3 year old baby boy 8 and double room cost much! Soon after arriving knock at the door and a flight attendant asks you to change the blankets even though the room was made. I leave the sign of nn disturb and knock on the door in the morning then apologized that they screwed up. The Wi-Fi for an extra fee.
Redeeming factor: the room was clean, the location across from the Science Park and the bar terrace.

He has "played me" a room with rattan blind, the refrigerator does not work, shower leaks, no plug in the basin, soil is dirty with stains, Chair is also broken and I think it is more noisy building room because heard can each car that passes down the street and they are not few. I would not recommend this hotel and my greatest enemy. Not tireis money in this site.

Exceptional price/quality hotel. Very comfortable and modern rooms. The staff very friendly and attentive at all times. The terrace with views of the roof, one of the best places to enjoy a drink.

Hello, this hotel I visit in 2013 failures and specifically rooms 518 and 519 is listed as 4 star hotel for the price, I consider you 3-star rooms are not very large, the super expensive minibar and over not cool, the blinds that are electric did not work well, the TV disaster the personal a little cold, to please the bed is very comfortable and wide, the parking is bad you have to park in the very narrow parking and double row.

My wife and I came over from Ontario Canada. We needed to stay in Valencia one night before our cruise and one night afterwards. After lots of research I decided on staying here. We were not disappointed. The staff were awesome, extremely helpful, especially when we first arrived after almost 24 hours of travel. Clean room, free Wi-Fi, might mean you have to access in the lobby for maximum signal strength, beautiful view of the new opera house, and other cool sites. Take a city bus ten minutes and you are at the beach or the other way to the old city. Walking distance to malls, and restaurants. Loved this place, will be back.
