The access road is uphill from the seafront, which is quite wide, until you get to the entrance of the campsite. The campsite itself is fairly narrow and on terraces, it is much better suited to smaller vans and day vans. If you are a confident driver you can do it in a tag axle but it is tight and you run the risk of grounding! It is a small campsite, there are only 5 terraces, you can see the whole of the campsite no matter where you are on it. Each pitch is a service pitch. The pool is fairly small, there are only 3 deck chairs around it so bring your own! The facilities are at the top of the site, toilets, showers and laundry. There is a bar next to the pool however it is currently closed, unsure when this will open. At the moment there are only around 15 campers here, it is very quiet. We were the only ones in the pool 👍The site is looking a little tired and in need of a spruce… However the facilities are lovely and clean. For us we found this more of a stop over for a couple of nights rather than a holiday destination as we prefer the bigger sites with more life. The main disappointment was that the pool man decided that whilst we were in the pool in the middle of the afternoon at 26 degrees he was going to clean it, so kicked us out and wouldn’t let us in for another 2 hours! He said this was because people were coming for the weekend, I did try and explain we were in it and had paid for the use! But it didn’t seem to matter….

A nice setting around the campsite and nothing else… beautiful pine forest and shade, yes, old pool and not well maintained or maintained, we rented a mobile home was supposed to for four and you could not even move, in the double room when entering you had to literally throw yourself in bed because there was no space just at the foot of the bed, reception correct in the treatment, but absolutely exorbitant price for what we rented… I won't be back.
