We went to the Agora hotel for three summers. The last time at the end of July of this year, 2019, two years after our last stay in it.
And the truth is that we noticed that the service and quality had gone down since the last time. In fact, we blame this on the very serious mishap that happened to us. The second day after our arrival, our four-year-old daughter stuck in the hotel room, which was then told by the toilets that it was a needle from a disposable insulin head. It was very fast, in the morning, in a moment of carelessness, he saw something on the ground that caught his eye, caught him and stuck it in his finger.
From the health center of Peñíscola we were referred to the Hospital de Vinaróz, where they applied the protocol of potential infection with needle of unknown origin. This involves a first analysis at the moment, and so many other periodic analyses already in our place of residence, during a reasonable period of time that can be extended from one to three years, as we have been informed.
This left us pretty upset. And while the odds of contagion seem to be small, it's something you can't get out of your head as parents.
The hotel's response didn't help anything to this situation. Despite repeated insistence, we failed to speak to any responsible person.

The thing about this hotel is amazing, we stayed this weekend in the junior suite, the room is spacious but the furniture is dusty, the curtains have a kg of and the cleanliness is very fair.
On the other hand the dining service is nefarious, the attention is unfortunate, bad shapes, bad faces etc, the only kind person was the girl who assigned table and a kitchen woman, I am celiac, asking the head chef what I could eat told me all the foods that did not carry gluten but without taking into account the contamination, that is, if you make a zucchini sauté where you have made some other food with gluten I can not eat it, by insisting on the matter in very bad ways gave me the reason and left, well sir that I eat?

I wouldn't even come back if I got my stay.

Hotel Spa quite new and in the center of Peñíscola, which is to be appreciated, also has parking and also goes well as the whole center is blue area and pay. Good service and friendly and attentive people. It Has free Wifi but does not work well, disconnects, little signal and low speed. The meals are free buffet, it enters everything but the drinks, there is a certain variety, in the evening they put Mexican food. The Hotel is nice and has a small pool for people who can stay and in summer it can be full although the beach is very close by.

Very good hotel, spacious, spacious rooms, clean, great restaurant choice but average quality.

We weren't at the hotel, just at the spa. The place is cool, but the facilities were not in very good condition. We got a very nice massage.

A pitiful place, I travel a lot for work, and this is by far the worst hotel… 4 stars? I don't know where, the bathroom quite disgusting, little hygiene, and the service of the worst I've ever seen. And of course the worst by far the hotel management and treatment received. I would definitely not go back to this hotel or recommend it to anyone. By the way, watch what they charge you, because they try to nail you for everything.

The rooms are just ok, many little things broken without maintenance. The community zone it's good, have a very good animation program for childs, this is the most strong point of this hotel. And the bad, it's the breakfast, it's a lot of trash, just the fruits are ok, the rest it's inedible! The juice it's made from plastic and the coffee it's synthetic! Price/quality very low!

Hotel with very good facilities but a bit run down as the beds the mattresses are very used the rooms are perfect the bad thing is that they have a lot of clarity the curtain are very clear and the sun comes in very soon.
The good thing is the spa and the perfect buffet food varied.

There is no minibar, you have to hire it to part and all are problems, it is not important but in theory if there are, so should give the service.

Pastry at breakfast is fully industrial type. Coffee is Netscape machine. The "embutidos" are medium — low quality type. You have some fresh fruit and cereals plus fried eggs, sausages and other hot dishes. The bathroom in our room is shown some aging in the dush but still acceptable. The location of the hair dryer is unacceptable, too close to the sink tap.

I finally had to complain so they would let us have breakfast and they let us all sit down.

4 star Hotel with spacious rooms, good service, with correct buffet, no exuberancias, swimming pool, bar, spa and close to the center and the beach. Wi-Fi.

Chaos at check in, staff was completely overwhelmed when we arrived with a bus full of holidaymakers. In the restaurant several times the cutlery was not clean, there were still leftovers of food on spoons and forks. The cold cuts at breakfast were the cheapest thing there is on the Spanish market. How this hotel came to 4 stars is a mystery to me. A star is therefore still exaggerated.

Good facilities, correct service, poor kitchen we stayed 2 nights from the 8th to the 10th of April of 2016 2 adults and a little girl. In low season with €8 you can cover 16 hours (charging) in the blue area at the door of the hotel. The parking inside me offered for 14 €/day.

Not recommended. It is shameful the management received by the hotel, the truth is that they offer an interesting Halloween party but then it was a mediocre service. In addition we booked 6 rooms, one of them for sickness could not be used and just arriving at the hotel we were informed at the reception that if it was sent the medical receipt would proceed to the return, after many steps because the attention was home to the Emergency department, they are presented the requested documentation, and then receive a refusal to return. They also have the little professionalism of saying that they have not indicated anything about it. Please stop lying and take advantage of the customers. If we had been confirmed that they did not make the refund of the service previously paid we would have used Regalandolo to a couple of friends, instead of letting it lose and the hotel benefiting from not using or reselling that room.
None of the people we attend nor will we return, nor do we recommend this hotel.

It's not a 4-star hotel. Rooms that at 3 pm are not cleaned. Old mattresses. Maxificado dining room with tails to enter. Varied but low quality food for a 4 * hotel. Parking Carisimo. It's just worth it to be close to the beach.

I spent a few days with my family and my nephews and the situation is excellent, the beach is close and it's nice for the little ones. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good. I recommend it!

The hotel has to be beautiful but it really lacks maintenance damage.

Only negative aspect. Very noisy Hotel in the restaurant. Very noisy at the swimming pool (permanent animations with a sound system always too high volume)

Overall I would say my stay here was pretty comfy. Adults' pool was a great surprise and very nice to have, nice views and relaxed atmosphere. Wi-Fi didn't work as expected though (it didn't even reach my room) but worked fine on the lobby. Breakfast was good and comolete. Our room was big (two king size beds side by side, which made for a huge bed) and wide corridors.

Very well placed and at 150m from the beach, some rooms will have a nice view, others not… On the other hand built in an old career, as much to say a real case of reasoning, do not count on the mat, with the morning classes at the swimming pool, and plan to go out between 10pm and midnight if you want to avoid the evening karaoke:)

Our room (Junior Suite) was nice and very spacious. It has two large and confortable beds. The living room was also nice and has access to a small balcony with a table and two chairs. The cleanless was good and the dinning room serves the classic continental breakfast. The location of the hotel is perfect to visit Peñíscola's old town and its castle and fortifications.

Hotel not bad. The very little variety and the spa food disaster. Things that do not work, the water very cold and excess people. There were at least 30.

I was lucky to go when they opened the Hotel and I loved it. With the passage of time it has aged very badly and it has become the typical coast hotel. Very little variety in the buffet.

A very good hotel located near a Cove and with lots of entertainment. There are better but this is great. Very good food and rooms without any problem. The very nice hotel workers, waiters very fast, very good hotel.

We were 4, 2 adults and 2 children, 9 and 14-year-old, were there for 5 days at the end of July and the truth that not get bored nothing, haunted girls, there are activities for everyone, big and small, at all hours. All phenomenal reception, maintenance, entertainers, all, the only thing I don't like is that they charge drinks going with full Board, as it was our case, they say that all hotels, breakfast anyway make it over there.

The SPA and the room wasn't all bad. Very bad service, great buffet, and all cold. Excessively expensive drinks. In the room the minibar only makes that release heat and not cool. The shower is a bit broken. The SPA is fine but bored at the end you only have a few jets pool and little more. To have 4-star price is Carrillo. In the quality price evil.

Hotel ideal for families with children, we were with our daughter in 4 years the first days of August. Very spacious room, daily cleaning first hour, buffet correct, not have found any disagreement. Hotel close to a quiet beach. Breakfast experience.
