Very lovely staff always ready to help. Great place to stay, already booked to come back.

Had a fantastic stay, food was so much better than I expected, so much choice, definitely would stay again, only thing I didn’t enjoy was the entertainment but the bar was good.

I have stayed here for the last 10 years and would not recommend. I booked a birthday package for my birthday it didn’t happen, even though they wanted €40 for it. The premier family room I was given was disgusting, I found glass under the sofa. Fridge dirty and general cleaning not good. The stairs near the room are dark. I fell down them and badly sprained my ankle, told the receptionist and they are not interested. Will not be visiting again even though I used to love this hotel…

Lovely staff. Great for a 3 star… food is good. Clean throughout and studios spacious and cleaned 5 days a week… spot on tbh.

Had a lovely time. The staff were brilliant but food was a let down. We ended up eating out every night. Overall worth the money.

We came her on 31st of October x not everything was bad, our apartment was very spacious and was. Lovely and quite on a morning and night time, pool. Area was. Good, but not enough sunbed in all pools for everyone, God knows what it's like at full season.
And thats where the positives have stopped.
Food was terrible very bland and cold, even when they brought out the new batch of food, it was cold, (there is no excuse for putting cold food out, no matter how much you have paid for your holiday), the only time food was OK was on the 1 night they did a Mexican theme, food had abit of taste (think it was because there was abit of spice) but still the food was cold. The only thing I ate that was hot was the omelettes due to them being cooked in front of you.
Then it came the day we were checking out, I thought I'd be helpful and strip the beds and to my horror I spotted some spots of old dried blood on my mattress protector, that had clearly not been washed, (I've slept on top of that all week) and the mattress in itself was disgusting.
So sadly we will not be returning again which is a shame as the hotel is in a great location, close to everything and we visit this area on a regular basis.

For the price paid can’t fault the hotel at all.
The whole complex was clean and modern, staff were fantastic.
Food and drink all typical 3 star quality and always found something to eat or drink.
The surrounding area was absolutely fantastic with plenty of surrounding bars and restaurants.
Already looking to return and would certainly recommend to others.

Beautiful place, lots of variety of food, friendly staff, everything is perfect.

Just come back on Monday, we enjoyed our time away, however will not stay again there.
Food and drink quality very poor we ate out every night, breakfasts was OK.
Room was OK 1214, however very noisy due to looking at the main rood.
Reseption staff in particular the younger male very rude and unapproachable. For instance we nearly missed out Covid19 appointment due to his incompetency don't relay on him if you need support with something we asked him for late cheak out and he reported the hotel is fully booked. Went after and 1h and thanks God to lovely Andrea I believe was her name on reception we manege to arange late cheak out — afcourse we need it to pay, but we didn't mind.
The swimming pools was OK 👍.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, there were a number of teething problems but it was their first week of re-opening. In my opinion the food was quite good for a 3 star hotel (and definitely got better as more guests arrived), I managed to have different food most days and my kids were happy with their selection. All inclusive drinks could have been better but the pina colada slush with fake malibu is very nice (and the kids enjoyed the slushes). They could have child friendly slushes and ice pops on the all inclusive when at the pool bar (although no ice creams). The rooms are huge, couldnt have asked for a better room really (ours had a huge spa bath but it did take forever to fill). There was a few kids there when we went and there was one woman who worked from 10am to 10pm providing children's entertainment the entire week we were there (joined on the last evening by another woman). The pics on line of the entertainment, disco and other bars, children's entertainment rooms etc — we saw none of that (but the hotel was only open a week and we probably paid less than those who came later). The other thing, the pics of the pool where there is a pool bar at the bottom of the steps (thats not there at present which meant the kids (& adults) had to wander up to the main bar to get their drinks which isn't easy to see from the pool) The only thing I was unhappy about was the pool opening time, which was 10am.

Friendly staff, spacious room, bed was huge and our room was right next to the quiet pool and back entrance so very convenient. Food had a good selection and was all tasty. Location was nice too, we walked down to the beach every day.

Great staff good food plenty of drink well done, just because it’s just off the prom people miss a great hotel.

We just returned from a week at Playaolid and have only good things to say about the hotel. Great value for money, clean and modern apartments, lovely food and very friendly staff! Our kids, aged 7 and 11 had a great time taking part in different activities organised by the entertainment team. 5-10 minutes walk to Playa de Fañabé. Perfect!

Staff very nice and friendly. Rooms clean. We had a sea view but it was noisy with traffic. Nice food and great entertainment. Only downfall for me was the noise from the traffic and there was no where nice to sit outside at night except in the lobby by the noisy street.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend staff are very rude when asking for help had to wait 2 days to be moved into a better room after complaining multiple time. Definitely not worth the money and the food is horrible.

Lovely hotel and was very cleaning. Lovely staff who went out their way to solve any issues you had which were very rare. Would definitely stay here again.

The food is exceptional, the staff very friendly and dedicated, the hotel is very clean, the mattresses are too firm.

Really lovely hotel and this is our second time staying here, lovely restaurant with plently of good choice, rooms really nice and spacious too and pool area lovely too, would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our first time to Tenerife and already booked to come back next year! Staff are so lovely, food is no different to any other all inclusive I’ve been too! Rooms were clean and nothing was too much trouble. Within walking distance to the beach and bars on the sea front!
Two lovely pools and a baby pool, however I preferred the bottom pool as a little quieter and less kids than the top pool, everyone was lovely, Spanish French and English guests we met whist there!

What an amazing place, all the staff made us feel so welcome, the mini club was amazing and my son has made friends for life! the entertainment was great… if you have small children and want a relaxing holiday which also takes care of their entertainment book here! ill be looking to return for sure!

Hotel and rooms are nice. Food is pretty repetitive and recycled. What was served for lunch was out again for evening meals. We had to eat out a few times. Clean hotel, friendly staff. Kids club was amazing the staff there are brilliant. Never had to queue too long to get a drink and we visited in the school holidays. Soft drink machines you help yourself to, I found a lot of the time the syrup had ran out. When booking I was told there was a free bus to Siam Park, which there was but this was for the whole area and a few pick ups on the way. Sometimes you’d be lucky to get on. I realise this isn’t anything to do with the hotel but it’s useful to know. I would recommend if you don’t mind eating a lot of the same stuff for the duration of your stay. I personally enjoyed my week here but would try some where new next time.

We stayed here 5 years ago and enjoyed it we love Tenerife! But here now during a ten day stay can’t fault the entertainment staff they are lovely and work hard the hotel is basic and clean.
There aren’t enough spaces around the pool side and daily you need to endure the sun bed race! To get a sun bed it’s ridiculous and unfair on the less mobile of guests! The food is average there is a variety but we have had much better the hotel is definitely 2/3 star we will return to Tenerife but never to this hotel I’d advise to read reviews before booking!

Absolutely love this place it’s the first time iv been and I will be coming back. I’m a long way from home, but feel so safe and the atmosphere is so welcoming and I know youl find me if I get lost in this big place and take me to where I need to be. Nothings too much trouble, thanks for your kindness, All the staff work so hard and it makes such a difference to this stressed out nurse/ student midwife and from my heart I appreciate every single second of it. Thank you. Rooms are lovely, surrounding area beautiful and the FOOD! Wow! is all I can say. Well done xx.

Stayed here for 2 weeks at the end of the 6 weeks holidays. Chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and spacious for ourselves and 4 kids. My 5 star rating is purely for the value for money! It’s clean the staff are pleasant and helpful, the food is what you would expect from a buffet, breakfast was the best meal but you end up eating out but there is an amazing restaurant a few hundred meters up the hill call Hollywood which is reasonable priced with amazing food. Great atmosphere and enclosed so the little ones are free to roam with the other children their age. Over all a great stay and I would come back again.

I give it 4/5 star because it is an amazing place and I love the food and the heat and the immaculate rooms but my daughter broke her toe on a umberella next to the pill that a guest had pulled out and left on the floor. Other than that an amazing hotel.

Hotel was clean and modern looking. Upgraded room was fantastic. Downside, pool very small didn't open the gates till 9.30 so there was a large queue of people every morning waiting to get the sunbeds. Food was very repetitive same items more or less every day that wasn't fantastic. Edible but wasn't great The drinks where awful think rola cola on a budget. Cocktails where cheap slush drinks from a machine with added cheap vodka, had to pay for the more premium drinks.

Stayed on an all inclusive package so dining was canteen style but a decent selection. Ideally I would have liked larger pools but what is on offer is spacious enough for the kids and three pools both have bars offering snacks and drinks. The best thing about this hotel is the staff who cannot be faulted. Courteous, friendly, helpful, brilliant with all the kids running around the hotel. Staff encouraged our youngster to use his Spanish and taught him more and how to use certain words.

For what we paid for this holiday it was great value. Pros: Large clean roomsExcellent choice of food which caters for all diets. Friendly staff. Choce of English TV programs. Free entertainment and organised games. Cons:Soft drinks could taste better. However I have only tasted the cola. It's a large complex so you could find yourself a fair way from the main building which is via a network of landings and stairways. Although there is a lift. Conclusion:All in all we were very happy with the place.

Good hotel, drinks, food and location just felt its a bit rough round the edges. And entertainment better for families than couples.

We are here at the moment — arrived on Tuesday. Been to Tenerife many times but this is our first time here. It definitely won’t be our last! It is an amazing hotel the apartments are huge and has everything you could possibly want in it, the bed is so big you could fit 3 or 4 people in it. All the staff are so friendly and cheerful and can’t do enough for you. The food is varied and cooked to perfection and there is plenty for everyone. All in all it is definitely the best hotel we have stayed in — in Tenerife. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable — we will definitely be back.

First thing I'm going to say is don't believe all the reviews we came to stay on the 15th of May for a week we stayed in room 1407 on the forth floor over looking the main pool there was me my partner and our daughter and grandson soon as we walked in the reception was polite and got us booked in very quickly the room was lovely we couldn't believe how big it was we had cooker and kettle even when we was all inclusive couldn't fault the room one bit and the bed was huge. The food was sometimes hit and miss but there was all ways something to eat you wouldn't starve and the pool bar all ways cooked something fresh pizza. Burgers and other things and the waiters was always polite and always coming up to my grandson everyday to make him laugh night entertainment was ok specially the girls the rock night was brill. Nice little pool for the kiddies only thing I can fault was the weather wasn't very good but the hotel made up for it will definitely be going back next year with rest of the family thank you for a great holiday.

Just nearing the end of my stay here! Was very impressed with the hotel! The restaurant and staff were wonderful (ate the best paella I’ve ever eaten today was delicious — it was Paella day). The food was always of a high quality! The restaurant mangers were very charming and nothing seemed to much trouble! The Reps (especially Trudi) were exceptionally good and hard working, working hard to keep everyone entertained! The Hotel was kept really clean and immaculate! The hotel provided (especially by the pool area) many entertainment features this even included a foam party. The bar staff were always friendly and greeted you with a smile! The reception staff were very helpful! Thoroughly recommend staying here! Most enjoyable!

Stayed last week for 7 days. Two adults, two teenage boys. Had gorgeous 2 bed suite overlooking pool. Rooms spacious, 2 tv's, bathroom, shower plus separate Jacuzzi bath in main bedroom. Food choice lovely, suited us all. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location only minutes away from good bars and shops. Ten minute walk to beach plus loads more bars and shops. Bus stop directly outside hotel for different parks and resorts More like a 4 Star hotel than 3. Can't wait to go back next year.

Language only English is booked mainly by tourists. Nothing for a relaxing holiday.

Stayed here last week for 10 days, was dubious when we arrived however the hotel was ok, made perfect by the wonderful friendly staff! The kids loved the pools (three in total), the food was good for all of us with plenty of choice & the pool & evening bars served decent beer & spirits. Lots of bars and shops around the hotel & only a 7-10 minute walk to the beach I'd go back tomorrow.

Get a taxi transfer to the hotel! We waited an hour in the bus then it took just over 2 hours to get to the hotel, did ask the rep and he said we would only be 20 mins! When arriving at the hotel we checked in, We got shown our room on the map and after walking down a number of steps in the dark we found our room, our room was on the bottom floor with a old bed outside our room, leaning on our bedroom window. Obviously very disappointing after a very long trip and we are very hard working people and had spent a long time booking the perfect holiday. After this we wasn’t prepared to stay at this hotel, we was very upset. We called Thomas cook and said about the room and the lady assured us she will be in contact with reception. We waited and waited in this room and reception failed to call us or visit us, so we walked down there and they was confused on what the situation was at first after a long battle they changed us rooms to what we had originally booked a balcony room, with pool view. Hotel was clean but sofa smelt in the room, like so bad you couldn’t even bare sitting on it. Food was great, however I’d recommend looking at the other restaurants around so you don’t get bored of the food. Indian down the road is amazing and blue bay on the sea front is lovely. Hotel staff could have been more friendly. Evening entitanment staff was not good at all. Location of hotel was great but not where we was told at the travel agents we thought it was much closer to the beach.

We have been here several times and have always had a great time. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly with constant smiles making you feel welcome. Very clean which isn't a surprise as the staff seem to be constantly on the go. You certainly get more than you expect.

Fantastic hotel, was here in September with 2 children. Apartment was clean and a nice size. Food was good and staff were fantastic. Looking forward to coming back this year.

All inclusive is so unnecessary in Tenerife, it creates drunken people… My first and last experience of AI. The suite was lovely although our pool view balcony actually was on a public pathway and no view of the pool. The food was what you'd expect but not what I would find good quality. Disappointing. Even their soft drinks were an obscure brand that tasted cheap. I guess you get what you pay for and if you like that style of holidaying then you'd probably love it. The staff were friendly the hotel was in good condition the pools were not freezing… But buffet dinner and cheap drinks are not my thing.

Location is great not too far from the shops and town centre. Rooms are very nicely decorated and set out. Went all inclusive the breakfast great lunch okay but dinner not the best. Ate out for dinner most of the week.

I give it five stars because every time I have been and having fun with my family but now we can not go because the minimum to book is 4 days. Fix that…

Nice hotel. Okay for 3 stars. Only 10 min walk to the beach. 2 pools with bar. All inclusive okay. Drinks watered down and food is kind of the same all the time as mostly when booking all inclusive in Spain. Good assortment of restaurants and bars nearby.

Hotel ideal for families. Apartments with extra bedroom and kitchenette. Couch in living area can also be used as a sleeping option. It's not particularly convenient, though. 3 pools. Also partially heated. The rooms on the side of the street are noisy. In the middle of the complex is relatively quiet. You can only book overnight accommodation, but also all incl. The food is fine. Selection is sufficient. There is always enough for the children, too.

Very nice place to stay. Food is good, rooms nice and clean. All the staff very helpful and friendly, work very hard to start with kitchen staff and to finish with cleaners. 2 bigger pools and a small one for kids. Plenty of beds too. Also close to the beach, around 10 mins, plenty of shops all around the place. Would surely come back.

Very good choice for our weeks holiday. Staff were very friendly and always tried to make the kids laugh. Entertainment was brilliant for the kids. Food was of good quality but just got a bit boring as the week went on. Theme nights were good! Rooms were spotless and the added bonus of. Discount on the neighbouring supermarket was good! Would stay here again.

Just got back after spending a week here when booking the holiday we Asked for a ground floor room as have a 2 year old that climbs on everything we ended up getting put on the 4th floor so we told them and they couldn't offer us anything but there was couples with no children on the bottom floor! We arrived late and they put on a buffet which was shocking my kids couldn't eat any off it! The breakfast was pretty appalling to the sausages tasted like cardboard the evening meals weren't to bad but as we went out most days we expected a packed lunch but they wouldn't do us any even tho we paid all inclusive which was ridiculous! When it came to leaving there was loads of people leaving all we got is a poxy room we're everyone had to shower in the same one and it was disgusting! Another thing that annoyed me was drinks weren't included after 11 at night we paid over £2300 for the holiday and it definitely wasn't worth it the trims were lovely and spacious and staff were friendly. Wouldn't stay here again tho!

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful relaxing week here recently in October. Apart from the fact that it was 28 degrees the whole experience at the hotel could not have been better. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was varied and delicious (we came home a few pounds heavier). We had taken a suite which was very spacious, comfortable, had a Jacuzzi bath and was not overly more expensive. The views of the mountains were spectacular as well. We would certainly go back to the Playa Olid.

Rooms very nice. 2 pools both serving snacks during day. Food not brilliant at all ate out 3 nights due to this as they run out of some of the food after first hour and are more keen to clear away than put out food when it is low, not good at all for all inclusive. Evening bar always s long queue for drinks? Hotel can hugely improve if they are more organised in these two areas.

The hotel itself is pretty nice and looks good. The food is okay and the service very friendly. It kinda lacks some eye for detail and the whole building could use some maintenance here and there.

Me and my partner are here with our 2 children ages 11&4. The kids love it. The playaolid staff are fantastic, very friendly. After reading reviews I was dreading the food but it is fantastic, my children are fussy eater and they love it, fantastic snack bar, the best hotel all inclusive food I have ever had. Definitely coming back here.

Very clean, staff polite with good mix of second languages to make your stay pleasant. The all inclusive was set meal times and restricted opening times for the various bars, the food was themed each night but was the same pasta dishes with little imagination, the pastry chef is a genius the range was interesting and delicious.

I took a look round playaolid as I was passing while staying in the area. It is somewhere that I had almost booked before traveling too Tenerife. The place looked good, clean, and good location. Didn't get to try facilities though as I wasn't a guest. But from what I saw, it is somewhere I would consider staying, along with others with so much choice around in the area.

Aparthotel with great potential poorly exploited. The hotel is located in the hills of what adeje should have the car. The cleanliness of the villette is definitely not enough, dust bunnies under the bed; clothes that were once on the beds are then magically ended up on the floor, towels with holes and one day they forgot to put the pillow cases (there may be wrong all) but when we mentioned this we ended up stacked on the table input pillowcases. Thankfully the hotel will no longer have the all inclusive service. But breakfast from compassion. Pretty much only to English and two kinds of sweets more pancakes. The tables are not set you even with placemats. Of ashtrays manco the shadow around. Free Wi-Fi is working but practically never. OK that we spent just but I think the basic services should be quality.

Brilliant time… rooms were always cleaned everyday… good food great shows at night esp mini disco for Maisie and wee Belle… animation team were also great… Maggie, Esme and Natalia went their way to make my daughters holiday even better… so big thanks see you's again in summer 2016! Excellent place to stay on holiday friendly staff great food and good entertainment at night. Really enjoyed myself.

Everything was amazing, rooms were clean and were getting cleaned everyday, in all of the swimming pools are warm with each pool bar to it, the shows at nights and animation team (JOSH) were really interesting, always smiling and making us laugh. Would always get help at the reception if I needed anything. Iplaya olid was close to city centre, all the night clubs and shop along with the beach and siam park 5 minutes away. The only downside of playa olid is there food and its choice, the meat was raw due to only one chief and there wasnt a lot to choose from along with the quality of the food but overall my experience was great.

Really enjoyed our stay July 2013. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice clean place! Would definitely go again in 2014.
