The Trovador makes a good impression from the outside. The reception and the dining room were newly renovated. The room on the third floor which we first received was live and smelled really old. The wallpapers slowly begin to detach. The furniture is old and will soon fall apart. In the bathroom the toilet flush was defective. The bathtub with shower curtain has seen better days. We changed the room. The next room on the 4th floor was exactly the same set up but better in shot. The beds were simple in both rooms with a mattress. The positive in both rooms they were clean!
All in all the hotel Trovador should have 3 stars?!
Finally, please renovate the rooms!
We will not book any more!

I will tell you my experience if you plan to go with children to this place and tell them they are not welcome the business is the bar very noisy nightclub they have in the silver superior that although not reach see if you appreciated the noises coming and going from people etc In just one hour I was there… in question my experience is not going by there is the issue is that I saw myself in the street with my two children and my wife, children 8 years and 22 months because this place had no staff to put a bed and a crib or just a Bed and share it with my kids we just wanted to rest but they gave no solution, past the time I ask to speak to the manager of this place and he tells me that he is alone… the receptionist… I ask you for claims sheet, and there says Vot talk to my boss and lower a mister as M Olesto The one we tell the receptionist to call. Booking and directly cancel the reservation and abide by your order I keep insisting that this can not be so give me a claim sheet… and it tells me that I am not a customer and I do not have to give it… I automatically pull my phone and called the police all the time waiting… (approximately 25 minutes) the director hesitating with the receptionist who would surely fall 17 years in prison for this and told me that I was wasting my time… That he knew what he was talking about when the local police arrives effectively orders him to give me the claim sheet… At this moment the director disappeared.

They don't pay the staff. I do not recommend.

Room and service are reasonable for the price. The elevator only accommodates 3 people and therefore invites you to go for a sporty staircase. The breakfast buffet is plentiful but a bit dull. My room was surprisingly quiet, because at the weekend hosts of young people, not just quietly, flock to the roof of the pool for Saturday night party. The parking situation around the hotel is difficult. Not exactly my dream hotel, but good for the price.

Quality price, in my opinion too much price for the shortage of quality. The Incomodísima bed, the decor of the room a bit dated, the normal breakfast. The receptionist's deal is the only thing I would value of 10. The rest below 5

Especially on weekends this seems to work — much to the chagrin of hotel guests who have booked a hotel in a quiet location. On weekends stacks then immediately droves the young people through the staircase and make a huge noise. The lift from the last millennium is only allowed for 3 persons.
Breakfast is OK. The rooms are OK. The location is OK.
Nevertheless, there is no right joy. Sorry.

They have a good part of the staff sinncobrar for months. Highly qualified staff. It's a shame.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Food offers a great selection every morning, hot and cold, buffet style. Rooms cleaned daily, except Sundays. Evening meals offered at extra cost but hotel close enough to amenities that you can eat out every night, really reasonably priced.

The rooms are ok. The location is ok. Nevertheless, no real joy. Sorry.

Good service. And a terrace chula vista chula with very good views and bienos cocktails.

For the price a great Hotel. Nice Bar and Pool on the roof terrace. Very nice staff and a good Breakfast.

The food it is not so good but it is ok I guess, but the staff are gadering the cutlery while you are eating and throw them in a bucket making a lot of noise and a bad environment. The room need repairs, the bath have rust and it had a rough repair, the toilet is broken, in the morning the firs guest that will use the bathroom it will wake you up, you will hear the water after flushing very laud and also a lot of other noises. No Wi-Fi in the room, no tv. The staff is preaty friendly.

I knew the hotel since a number of years. The new management start a renovation campain last year. Rooms getting better. The toproof bar with a fantastic view is now completly new as SkyBar Lounge. Enjoy the sundowner with a cocktail.

I have just returned from 1 week holiday here. Can't speak highly enough of my experience. Staff were pleasant and helpful. My room was spotless. Cleaned daily. The Sky Bar on the roof is a hidden gem. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety for all tastes. Location was also perfect. Thanks again for making my stay a very comfortable 1. I shall certainly return in the future. Thank you Love Holidays!

I/ We were already 3 times in this Hotel last year, we were assured, was to be renovated, the bathrooms and furniture and replaced. Since we are still waiting. Furniture defective ceiling in the bathroom came down from the cleanliness nennenbwir it borderline. On speech and the written complaint (in Spanish) because the hotel management doesn't understand English, there was no response, instead, was gone a out of the way. The money which should be invested for the room had, was invested in the outer appearance, the not so bad. Here the horse is aufgezeumt from the rear. No structure it will be started and brought to nothing right at the end. For us definiv the last visit in this Hotel. 3 stars has this Hotel not deserved. We have incl. The rooms are 5 other Hotels looked at, with renovated rooms and bathrooms on the German standard. They have 1-3 stars, and have earned more. Also on the island of Tenerife, Hotel Trovador has earned by country category, in my opinion, no star. Rusted water taps, towel rail, heavily damaged furniture and balcony doors, and missing fire extinguishers, handrails, escape plans, and protruding nails in the stairwells have not earned it. The only Positive is the honest friendliness of the staff.

Nice 3 star hotel with roof top pool. Spectacular views across North of Teneriffe.

Overall okay, the best but the rooftop pool the many sun beds. The view of the Pico del Teide is possible from there in good weather.

It was all very well as a 3 star hotel which is what is going to come back.

A perfect Semna the food very good the staff very attentive.

Price perfect Quality The very full breakfast the staff very attentive I will return for vacation.

Nice breakfast and rich would again there. Fly.

+ Favorable points:
Good location, includes breakfast, clean.
Negative:
I understand that to compete in a very touristy area with a "low price", you must do without certain luxuries, but the mattresses were of low quality, the same decoration of 50 years ago (literally), and could not connect to the Wi-Fi in the room, had to go down to the hall.
For €10 Mas, in Santa Cruz we stayed in a barcelo ****, with Wi-Fi, modern decor and great king size mattress.

Don't expect anything spectacular.

Everything is fine, but when I get there was a pity TV I had to call the service to change the TV.
If I want Wi-Fi I have to go down to the ground floor and stay. Breakfast has been splendid, everything else is fine.

Good location compensated for the frumpy building. Service is very friendly, room clean. Breakfast is nothing special, but not bad. For the money overall okay, again I would not necessarily book it.

Have come a little into the years. But clean. The food can be better. Best to eat elsewhere. There is also a bit of a renovation.

No Hair dryers in the rooms. Room equipment needs to be renewed. The offered choice for breakfast is okay. Hotel has got a swimming pool on top of the roof.

Quiet hotel in a central location. Friendly staff. Simple large rooms. The hotel is clean. Reasonable 3 *. Good value for money.
