Ideal place to be a base for hiking by Anaga.

Homemade food but spectacular. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the visit. By the way, if you can eat on the terrace. Completely change the environment.

I just ate for the first time there and a 10 in everything, food, treatment, and beauty, thanks for your attention and fixed that I repeat.

A place located in a unique environment. It's worth it just to hear the sounds of the forest while you eat or drink a simple coffee. Excellent deal. I wish I could come back soon. Congratulations.

Decent Hostel high in the mountains, beautiful view, but the bed leaves much to be desired and breakfast too, although for a minimum is OK. But the price is 18 euros.

Beautiful view in the quiet. Homemade meals and breakfast are plentiful. It's clean. A little fresh and rudimentary in the common showers.

Great spot to explore Anaga from. Terrific views, very helpful staff, Beatriz and her boyfriend cook amazing traditional food, the place is clean, quiet and warm and all of this for a small price. Whenever in Tenerife I’ll be looking forward to come back here!

Super nice location with fantastic views from most or maybe all rooms and the dining room and deck. Rooms are basic and small but quite OK. Government hostel so lots of things are not convenient for the guests, like the hours of the café, which closes at 18.30; if you want to do laundry, then only in the afternoon. But mostly the staff were nice and helpful.

Excellent JH, clean beautiful rooms, medium-sized bathroom, everything in modern wooden look, terrace and dining room with great views! The food is ingenious in its own way, it is locally cooked and plump said to be eaten what comes to the table. We had soup and a vegetable pan with meat light and jam cookies. Top!

It is a very spacious site with a fairly large dining room and a terrace with spectacular views of the mountain and very friendly prices of the rooms I can't comment because I didn't stay.

Nice ride on the hills and beautiful view on both sides of the Island.

Worst place ever! My wife and I were slept here for 2 nights in November 2016, and although the location is magnificent and Anaga is the part of Tenerife we liked the best, this place is horrible. Tiny, noisy room with very small window and no natural light. Awful beds: simply a mattress put on a wooden board, and you have to set it yourself! Disgusting meals: breakfast comprises old bread, 2 slices of what it should be ham (but it's actually not) and 2 of low quality cheese, black coffee or tea. No milk, yogurt, jam, butter… NOTHING. The dinner is just ridiculous: a hideous, bland veggie soup, a tiny omelette, 2 slices of tomatoes and ONE apple. REALLY? Am I in a hospital? And they demand you to wash your dishes, even though you are not allowed to use the kitchen! But worse of worst is the staff: unfriendly, uncaring, they do not speak English, never bother to say hello or bye, just point some sign when you miss doing something. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else, there is a nice village on the slope toward west I am pretty sure you will find something, but even sleeping in the woods would be better than here!

The location is great. The rooms are clean. Staff is incompetent at times but friendly. Weird rules: you have to clean your own dishes but cannot bring your own food. With a few upgrades it could be the most amazing place.

Good place for who likes to walk around and stay in a wonderful setting. Efficient, attentive and very professional employees. Good food and good bar service. Excellent views, when it's clear.

Ideal location for mountain lovers. The fog abounds. Good control of the temperature in the rooms. It has an area prepared for climbing, and has several unassembled or moving parts.

Communication in English was no problem, small talk, conversations at check in/out or at the canteen has been no problem at all. Rooms are Solid youth hostel Style and clean. Location in the middle of the forest is perfect if you want to explore the surrounding area. I ate the Puchero with lots of vegetables and small amount of various meat and it was really really good. Unfortunately the free Wi-Fi was very slow, but that could depend on the weather because I think there is only internet via mobile antennas up there. Unique place, I would spend my time here again.

We just stop to eat, good price, very good deal. The views are spectacular, worth stopping to eat or drink something. If you are travelling to Tenerife and want to spend a few quiet days in the mountains, it is the perfect place.

It's a little far away. You have to give a lot of curves, but part of that. It has a bad side, only one room has its own bathroom. The food pretty good. There are plugs for needs. It's worth it.

The cafeteria is quite basic but the staff are pleasant and the food is fine. We only stopped by on our way past on a mystery tour in the car but I would recommend stopping by if you're going that way.

Good starting point for hikes, but bus connections are poor. When the weather is good, great views, but the area is famous for its mist. These are easy to overcome, but the service of the staff is the poorest I ever dealt with: uninterested and cranky. At eight the bar closes (two last bus connections arrive at 8:30). You spent your evenings in an empty canteen, without anything to drink. Moreover, the staff speaks hardly English, which causes many miscommunications. Last detail: cockroaches in the bedroom. It could be a great spot for walkers when the place was breathing a little more hospitality.

Beautiful location, good amenities, modern. Great hiking and walks in the area. Comfortable beds. All meals available on site. Cooking in kitchen available. Good showers and bathrooms. Bus service available but most people rent a car or scooter or hitchhike. The staff changes regularly and are not as personable or helpful or forthcoming with information as you would find in an independent hostel. Enjoyed my stay here over 3 days.
