The hotel and its surrounding is absolutely gorgeous. The stone houses blend in beautifully with the serene greenery, and small animals such as chickens and kittens make this place feel like you’re truly in the countryside. Our only issue was that in our room the shower temperature was unstable in a way we could not take a decent shower throughout our stay. We informed the staff about our issue (it would go from extremely hot to extremely cold), and at first we felt heard. We woke up to the next day and we were told the problem is nonexistent because their technician said it’s ok (it was very much still existing). We believed they checked it but surprisingly we still couldn’t take a decent shower in a beautiful 4 star hotel. When we informed the staff again, they brushed us off and did not offer any solution as we were leaving the next day. This hotel was honestly gorgeous and this inconvenience and the way they treated it sadly overshadowed the sparkly eyes we had when we first saw it. I wish they would learn from it because we really wanted to recommend this place to our friends, but this is not acceptable for this price point and the 4 star claims.

What’s not to love about Sa Franquesa Nova? We spent a wonderful 3 nights and found everything to be fantastic: the room was luxurious and relaxing; the pool was serene and refreshing; the meals (breakfast and dinner) were delicious and well-appointed; and the staff and management were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were fortunate to have nice weather during our stay, but even if we hadn’t, we would have thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Next time we visit Mallorca, we will certainly stay at Sa Franquesa Nova again!
