Friendly staff. Nice food breakfast and evening meal. Quiet adults only. Alittle bit isolated. Need taxi to get about. Hence 4 star.

Loved this hotel. Had a 4 night relaxing stay. Staff. Food and location was fabulous. Would defiantly stay again.

We loved this place. Not too busy. Hotel it's self was fantastic. Room was really nice and modern. Staff were very good. Service was excellent.

Basic hotel. Clean rooms etc. Everything worked. Stayed b&b. Excellent breakfast. Location means hills involved to get to restaurants especially marina.

Spent the first week of july here with my husband. Lovely place, great service, clean rooms. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice. Nice and relaxing. Good location. Not far from airport. Lovely beaches near by. Will definitely go back.

Rooms very dirty, beds not changed, bathroom disgusting had to clean it myself, also had to go for clean towels most days.
Bedding was just turned around, not changed not good with the hot weather.
Staff were absolutely lovely in bar and breakfast areas.
Also had to go out every day as you couldn’t get a bed at pool the early birds were up all taken for 9am.
Over all extremely poor, wouldn’t even give it a 2 star.

Rooms dated, partly dirty.
Furniture broken, partly not functional.
We had to change the room because the first one was so small that you could hardly get the suitcase under.
The view from the balcony was right in front of a concrete wall!

Very quiet to sleep, clean and the staff very nice. Suggestion, have prepared a small breakfast kit, for which we have included and we can not enjoy for reasons of the departure time of the trip. The Breakfast buffet was great. Comfortable rooms but succinct. The Cove, very small, close, but with an impressive height.

Reasonably priced great breakfast. 5min. Walk to beach.

A firm favorite to stay in Mallorca.

You must have insurance against theft if you are considering staying here, just in case someone enters your room, when you are in the dining room and help themselves to your belongings. Could this happen?

Nice hotel. Breakfast is not bad. The pool is quite small but never crowded (in any case in September). Small flat: The rooms do not have a bed king but only 2 bed a place side by side, it is a pity.

This hotel is a real find. My second visit and so pleased I returned. The staff were so kind and funny and attentive. The food is always plentiful and tasty with lots of choice. The place is clean and comfy and the pool is lovely with a great view to the sea. This hotel is set in a pretty residential area… tucked out of the way… for rest and relaxation. However, it's only a 10 minute stroll up into the small town… and a short stroll further down to the amazing harbour where the rich hang out. If you're not rich … you can hang out at a beautiful cove just down the hill from Hotel Costa Portals where the water is warm and duper clear. Go round the headland to visit Roxys Beach Bar. The rooms are traditional and simple… they are supposed to be. I had a single room which I found perfectly adequate. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom was small and the shower area was also a bit tight. This didn't bother me… but it might not be for everyone. Not sure what the double rooms are like. I love this hotel and this area of Mallorca… it's a beautiful place. It's also really easy to get to Palma on the bus in 30min… and cheap as chips too. The staff make this hotel special… thankyou to you all… for your hard work and sense of fun and for caring about us… your customers. I will return, although I think you are already fully booked up for next September already. Great adult only hotel for relaxing and taking it easy.

The staff on reception are truly awful. The worst I have ever encountered. Unfriendly and unhelpful,, bordering on rude. The rooms are tired. The location is OK and the breakfast is great. Evening meals are like a school canteen. On the plus side the hotel is very clean. Do a lot of research before you go on where to go and what to do because the reception staff will not help you at all!

Brilliant, better now no inclusive drinks — much more relaxed atmosphere!

We spent a week at this hotel in July 2017.
-The food in the morning is very nice and the evening is not bad either. Only reproach, the fruits far too walls and the dishes that continue to cook once laid on the "stove" = well overcooked starches, meat and fish idem.
— The hotel itself is very beautiful especially in the common rooms, however the room we had was badly in point (closet without door, old bathroom, bathtub broken in places, wall coming off). The air conditioning works great on the other hand!
-Women in households are very very friendly but the housekeeping is a bit of an average. Dust not made for example or hair lying around. You have to ask for a change of towels and sheets and they do, they are really adorable.
-The staff at the hotel was very friendly we had no bad experience on that side. Thank you for giving us all ice cubes in a cup on demand, every evening, it was super practical by this heat since there is no fridge in the rooms.
— Portal is a nice residential area where it is a good place to live. There is a small cove at 5 MN But we preferred the beach to Portal us. When you are on the creek, take the stairs and at the end you will have this pretty beach.
— I advise you to go to the restaurant portals Fish and chips (which does not do that), Chef Robert makes succulent dishes, home, with fresh produce for 7. €50 entrance and flat. A real treat!

Well, where to start?!? This hotel is an amazing place where to spend your vacation. Lovely and friendly staff (Antonia, Tony, Gabriel, Karol, Mary) very professional and plenty of smiles. Good location, calm, beautiful common place (restaurant, pool, reception…). Room is good but not very well isolated. I could hear my neighbours speaking. And service very variable depending on the person. Some of them would barely responding to your question/request when others were very helpful and welcoming.

Just great! We stayed 13 nights at the hotel RD Costa portals in early May and everything was perfect: we had a nice room with a nickel maintenance, the kitchen at the top with a really adorable staff (all! ), what to feast on at breakfast, the cocktails at the bar are Delicious, the terrace with swimming pool very nice, animations every 2 evenings with musicians, the location of the hotel ideal: Very quiet and 3 min from the highway to visit the island. I would recommend this hotel with eyes closed, staying there only improved our holiday.

The beach is very small but it's great especially in the more mild months as it's a total suntrap due to the back wall.

Beautiful beach But a lot of people in season.

First floor room with private terrace overlooking the pool, spacious and clean. All inclusive, adults only, quiet outside UK school holidays. Food is decent but not much choice. Sangria is great! Definitely better than its 3* rating.

We have been twice to this hotel. 2015 and 2016. Both times have been superb! The hotel and the staff are amazing. Planning to come back again in 2017.
