Great place for the kids (mine were 6 and 10). Loads of activities around the pool during the day and rhe evening entertainment was quite good. Rooms were really spacious and lots of reasonably prices restaurants nearby.

We’ve just got home from a week here (party of ten) and can honestly say that we’ve had the best time. The Staff couldn’t be friendlier and evening entertainment was fab! Nothing was too much trouble. Even when things went slightly wrong, as they are bound to as that’s life, (broken chain on bike) they couldn’t have been nicer when dealing with it. Refunds given and lots of apologies. We had an early morning pick up and they even opened the whole restaurant, which is massive and has way too much choice of food, just for us at 4am! Big shout out to Jaume, Mario and Fabio for entertaining the children so well. They were so sad to leave. Thank you Viva Sunrise 🌅 x.

So sad it’s our last day but we have had the best 10 nights at VIVA Sunrise what a fantastic hotel. Entertainment, food, staff all absolutely amazing 🤩 the hotel itself is spotless, very posh like, well kept clean. The kids club is excellent have rota days for lots of different activities for the kids plus the pirate ship with slides in a pool for kids. The sports activities for adults is also rota days and so much fun from pool exercises, darts 🎯 loads to keep everyone occupied. I highly recommend this hotel for families ♥️ The Pattinson Family.

My kids and I enjoyed every minute of our stay at Viva Sunrise. The staff were very nice and helpful and the room was amazing 🤩 we can’t wait to come back for a visit very soon 🤗😁🛫👙🌞

Great hotel. 3rd visit now. Great for kids, attentive polite staff. Now for de-tox and calorie busting regime. … slight niggle. Reception could do with inobtrusive clock on counter … say * * * * stars.

Absolutely fantastic for a family! Food was amazing, rooms were perfect and so clean. Entertainment was great. Its a bit if a trek to the beach but fine for older kids. Staff were incredible ❤️
Can’t wait to go back. Our holiday in may this year was cancelled due to Covid-19. They sent us an amazing email with things to make us smile. Colouring for the kids, music, relaxation and food recipes. Can’t wait to show the kids tomorrow!

Fantastic hotel, top facilities, the best staff ever special mention to mario, tony the waiter and never did get the other waiters name that danced around the resteraunts with my daughter, also the guys on the reception were great.
One thing I would say is that the daily activities were hit and miss to what we could do as a family, two years ago we did everything together, this year there weren't enough staff to run the activities for the teenagers. I think it would be much better if the hotel made sure that the staff were employed all the way to the end of the season. We like to stick together as a family and out daughter wasn't able to join in alot this year, which made the holiday less enjoyable, although we all want to revisit again.
The royal suite balcony's are lovely and have plenty of furniture to get together with friends and family.

Great family hotel highly recommend just on last day of 10 night stay hotel very clean lots to do all day for all ages some of the shoes are not great but most of them were good. The staff in the bar are great and friendly and the kids club staff are brilliant with kids. We will be back again.

Just leaving today. Apart from handful of reception staff and 2 waiters Manuel:-) and my cleaning lady were great I never felt like a naughty child constantly being told off. For pretty ridiculous stuff before. And I hate NOT POSSIBLE with a passion as it seems to be a favourite telling off word by several members of staff. The food except all inclusive lunch where you pick you're own which was fantastic. Was boring bland poor cuts of meat and cold. The royal terrace on the first floor is anything but luxury dated and old. And no sun. As you cant open the shades which. Upper floor guests like to throw rubbish down. The jacuzzi is a lot smaller and older than top floor. I wont ne going again. All inclusive bar mostly has one bar person. Which is annoying. So all in all very disappointed.

The hotel is fantastic and staff very helpful. I would recommend this hotel for a holiday and hope to return for another great holiday.

Variety of pools, lots and lots of space and sunbeds. Room was nice and clean. It's about 2.8km to the harbor area from the hotell so walking there every night might become a chore. It's about 8min walk straight down to the beach which is nothing to complain at. There's also a big area of shops, restaurants and play areas for children if you make a left instead of a right when you leave the hotel main entrance. Try it. Try the Ice Creams from the dessert menu in the bar. To die for.

Very beautiful hotel. Restaurant and supermarket inside the hotel. Pool was decent bit cold but we did go when it wasnt the peak temp. Evening entertainment and lots of stores nearby.

Stayed here 4 times. Good location. Good sized studio. Five days a week maid service. Staff friendly. Recommend staying here. Brilliant holiday resort.

Just back from an amazing week at this beautiful hotel, I found all the staff extremely nice. The entertainment staff are amazing and realy go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We forgot to collect our sons t-shirt that he painted before we left and he was a little upset, but chris from the entertainment staff kindly organised this to be posted home to us, which we realy appreciate. Found the beds uncomfortable but that's a personal choice with each person, and the room was a little noisy which I think was from other people having their aircondition on, these little things wouldn't turn me off staying at this hotel again. Only mins from the beach, pubs and restaurant's. Lovely pool area and great pool for the kiddies, and plenty of sun beds too.

Great stay! Nice staff and room (family apartment). The kids did joined and had fun on several activities of the Mini club (kid's club). Even the weather was nice! Giving the stay 4 out of 5 stars due to the crowded places. Alot of people everywhere, and you cannot escape from other people (if you want to) exept in your own room.

Great family hotel. Food was pretty good and I found something to eat every night. Room are clean and spacious, beds I found very comfy. It could be little noisy at night (after midnight), we were located on the 5th floor canal side. I think most of the noise was from other residents on the balconies? Kids entertainment looked good. Pools are big although a little chilly sometimes (it was May though).
Good location and easy access to the beach, 5 minute walk.
The harbour is around 15-20 minute walk.
If you are into cycling they have a great bike room with fresh water, tools and cleaning facilities.
It’s a hotel I would certainly recommend.

Nice and good rooms. But you can hear noise from out side whery good. Especially the cleaning cart in the morning. Air condition ok…

Amazing quality for a 3Star rated hotel. Staff excellent throughout (Reception, Dining Area, House Keepers, Claus). Large, clean room with comfortable beds and fab shower. Food very good quality and plentiful. We were a group of four cyclists with a large appetite. Pool, on the cold side but improved each day (late spring in Mallorca) and by the 22nd April was ideal. In house Bar and entertainment but a very good resort bar 200m away with live music and atmosphere during a period when a lot the resort is deserted. Catered for cyclists with dedicated bike room, mineral water and picnics if desired. No hesitation in returning, with friends, family or cyclists. Thank you.

We were in an apartment with breakfast included and has everything you would expect from an establishment of these features. Very comfortable and the staff very friendly and professional. Edit: Hot water ran intermittently on the last day.

Good place. Good service. Really nice and clean hotel. You feel as comfortable as in your own home. Would recommend this wonderful hotel at any time. A big plus is by the pool where people can not book a sun lounger with a towel. Have people not been on the deck for half an hour, the towel is removed, thumbs up!

Why doesn't anyone answer the phone? I'm trying to get in touch by phone, mail, even via Twitter and no one answers. I have doubts about my reservation.

Very nice and especially family friendly hotel complex in the heart of Alcudia not far from the beach which is only about 400 m a beautiful children's pool is available with pirate ship and climbing point the restaurant is also very tidy and friendly and you have Always something to eat the best thing about Alcudia, however, is the shallow sloping sandy beach where children can bathe very nicely and play a part of a holiday that is always a family pleasure.

Perfect. Lovely staff. Adapted to handicapped people. Handicapped parking. It has all kinds of daytime and nocturnal entertainment. The perfect cleaning. Very good and varied Buffet food with typical dishes of the island of Majorca. Very close to the sea. Perfect.

Hotel orientated towards the foreign tourism, but of friendly treatment towards the Spaniards. Walking around the surrounding canals area has its charm.

It is a beautiful hotel well kept, with a large pool, incredible buffet, just minutes from the beach. Highly recommended, if you come out of the high season the room costs half. That's great!

For a 4 star house, the Viva Sunrise has an outstanding and great cuisine!
Very high quality and lovingly prepared food. Own vegetarian corner. Breakfast with 7 kinds of milk! Soy, almond, oats, rice, lactose free, whole milk, low in fat. Children's buffet something boring, pasta and pizza.
Coffee from fully automatic machines freshly ground and more than edible.
The rooms are fabulous, very good facilities, huge bathroom with very large natural stone shower with rainforest irrigation. Nice pool, lots of entertainment. Approx. 300m from the beach. Pleasant environment, no traffic noise.
Free Wi-Fi unlimited, even fairly fast, on the entire site.
All in all we are very satisfied.

A lovely June week in Viva Sunrise for all the family.
Fifteen visits over ten years and each time it gets better. However, one thing that doesn't change … the high standard:
Beautiful rooms.
We got two studio rooms. A change from our initial years of a one bed with an 8 and 5 yr old. Now they are 17 and 14 and still loving the place. The rooms are spacious and modern with kitchen facilities. The bathroom has a glorious walk in shower. Whether you get a standard room or a deluxe room, a poolview or a canal/mountain view (of which we have had all over the years), you won't be disappointed. The rooms are cleaned five days a week.
Public Areas.
All areas are kept to a high standard… From reception when you walk in, to lying on your sunbed by the pool. The bar area, the buffet restaurant, the a la carte restaurant, the pool, play areas, gym and toilets. There is free Wi-Fi throughout.
Pool.
The pool is cleaned every night and there are facilities for all ages. A deep pool, a baby pool and a general pool from paddling to swimming depth. The baby pool has a pirate ship slide and mini slides for younger toddlers.
Entertainment.
Daily, from morning to night, there are multiple activities for all ages: Kids Club, pool games, football, exercise classes, archery, table tennis and more. There is a kids show each evening followed by a family show, always enjoyable.
Food and Drink.

Clean and spacious rooms (bathroom in particular), wonderful staff on reception and (most importantly for myself) first class bike storage and maintenance facilities! The storeroom can only be accessed with a room card that has been activated, contains locked racks to hang bikes from, tools to maintain bikes and a room with everything you need for cleaning them. Oh and there is a bike shop on site. If you were in any doubt let me make this clear: this hotel is ideal for road cyclists.

Good food. Good starting point for cycling tours in the north. In high season many families with children.

The food is great. Really good buffet for breakfast and dinner, haven't tried lunch. The room is good enough. The bed is big and comfy and the balcony is nice. There was a sharp edge under the kitchen sink just above the fridge and I cut my finger but management sent someone to file down the edge, so they are responsive at dealing with issues.

Not bad, but it can be better.

As the other Viva hotels, it is simply perfect.

Spotless rooms and public areas, good entertainment for kids and themed evenings in the restaurant. Food and drink were plentiful, but bartenders served pre-made cocktails out of huge plastic bottles rather than fix fresh. Staff work incredibly hard (waiters and entertainers) but a smile would be welcome (we visited at end of season, so guessing that staff had had enough of tourists) and not keen on the kids' entertainer who reeked of weed… Pool areas were great, and beautiful sandy beach within walking distance. I'd recommend this hotel for families with young kids.

Me and my partner and 2 children stayed at Viva Sunrise in August this year and could not be more willing to endorse this hotel. The hotel is beautiful with everything you can think of but what really made it stand out for us was the staff who are first rate. Warm professionals who take great care of there guests.

We found this hotel to be immaculately clean and our room had a fantastic terrace with hottub and patio furniture for chilling out. My daughter loved the kids club and there are a few activities for the adults too (pistol shooting, bowls, darts).

Had a great stay, one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Great location for enjoying the life in and around Alcudia. Staff were excellent, particularily like to mention the great service we had from our room maid Beatriz who kept the rooms immaculate and the pool staff who worked long hours keeping the pool and pool sides so clean and tidy. Reception staff dealt with all queries quickly and very efficiently. An excellent team of staff.

Have been coming here 9 years and still love it staff are very friendly location is great not too loud and not too quiet spotlessly clean.

Book a royal apartment direct through viva hotels, they are amazing, with spa pool on balcony. I could talk all day about what a brilliant holiday I had, but why listen to me, go there and have a fantastic holiday all for yourself xx.

We chose this hotel after reading other reviews and we were not disappointed. The hotel was great, the rooms cleaned/towels changed 5 times a week. From the minute we checked in until we left we had nothing but great service from the whole Viva team from the reception to the waiters to the entertainment team. We went start of season for a week all inclusvie and I would say we really had our moneys worth. The bar was open from 10 till midnight serving local wines beers and spirits, as well as Smirnoff, Bacardi, JD, strongbow and estrella. We also had bottles of wine with dinner which were quite decent. The only downside from the childrens point of view would be that although pop (coca cola, fanta, sprite) and icecream was available from the all inclusive menu, there were no lollyices included and my little one got a little bit sick of eating massive bowls of fancy icecream dishes. The pools were great but at start of season, we didn't have great weather so was quite cold. Great choice.
