This is a spectacular place! A family ran business that ticks all the boxes! I would consider myself a hard person to please but these guys have surpassed everything. Booking was easy, check in was easy and because our shuttle service was late from the airport (this is not the hotel shuttle it’s a shared service between hotels on the island and took 2.5hrs) they had salad, fruit and sandwiches left in our room! Beautiful food, champagne and there was a kettle with big mugs so we could have a proper coffee when we arrived.
The AWSOMEness just got started when we got to breakfast (which was very Covid safe) amazing staff, gorgeous food and a really entertaining chef that will do you any sort of breakfast! After breakfast we discovered the beach is a stroll away and it’s also fabulous! There are lots of amenities around you too. We hit the pool and again we had a choice of 2 pools. One of the best things about this hotel was NO CHILDREN! Total peace and quiet, pool was equipped with great spacious loungers too. We loved the room too, very smart architecture made it very quirky and the beds are so comfortable! Dinner was just as fabulous as breakfast and they impressed us on all courses which rarely happens. The presentation was fabulous, lots of Vegan options which is rare but very impressive. The staff are all very well presented in very Dapper uniforms and they are so courteous too.

Stayed here 8 weeks ago and have already been back for a long weekend. The place is just beautiful, very relaxing with gorgeous rooms, comfy beds, the most chilled pool and bar area ever and possibly the best staff I have ever met! I cannot recommend enough and can’t wait to return yet again, only 2 and a half hour flight from the UK it’s perfect for a quick escape and time out! Thank you all at the Astoria Playa xx 😘

Best kept secret in Mallorca. Adults only. A very special Hotel where esch guest is treated as a VIP. You feel that everybody wants to make you happy. It’s not common in any place.

First stay at this property and what an experience! The hotel is luxurious, the hygiene is impeccable, the food is excellent for an all-you-can-eat buffet. But the must is the attitude of the hotel staff which is impeccable: friendly, smiling and efficient. I also enjoyed the pools as well as the entertainment that made my stay very enjoyable.

Convenient to beach. Rooms good size and clean. Breakfast and dinner has good selection and interesting food. Dinner was much better than expected. Drinks costs are not included for dinner and a little expensive. Safe is extra cost for each day, but not too much cost. However did notice the shower could use an update. Good atmosphere and nightly music.

A truly magnificent hotel in every way. Neither myself or my girlfriend have ever returned to the same hotel when travelling abroad, but this year (2018) was our third visit to the Astoria Playa. Our first stay was awesome and we stayed in one of the Junior Suites overlooking the pool at the front of the hotel. We found everything to be of a high standard and it was clearly a cut above a 4 star family hotel. Our 2nd visit was equally as good, if not better and we saw some positive changes throughout. I'm not one for lounging by a pool all day but this isn't a hotel with cheap plastic sunbeds. Comfortable, cushioned sunbeds meant I was able to tolerate the pool for most of the holiday, much to the delight of my other half (I like to explore, she likes to lay still all day! ) We decided whilst we were still there that we wanted to return for a third time so whilst I was in the room before dinner one night, I booked flights for the following year. Fast forward to this year and we couldn't wait to go back. The hotel had offered us a free transfer from and to the airport which if I recall correctly, you get when you stay for more than 5 nights. It's a shared transfer but I can't be doing with waiting for others and so I asked if we could upgrade it to a private transfer. The cost quoted was cheaper than anything I could find online and was simply added to the final bill to pay upon checkout.

It's a great hotel! Staff work at the highest level! A large selection of breakfast and dinner options.

The hotel is very modern and pretty. The junior suite leaves nothing to be desired — the climate, the whirlpool and a wonderful view towards the sea. The food was very good. Very diverse, high quality and varied. The service in the restaurant, reception, reception was outstanding. We felt very comfortable and hope to come back soon.

The hotel is very well maintained and the staff extremely friendly. A modern décor leaves all the places of the house, no matter if room, restaurant, pool. Look very stylish. The kitchen stands out with delicious and freshly prepared dishes. Because it is an adult hotel, you can actually enjoy the peace and relaxation that you want on holiday. We recommend it 100% further.

Am absolutely not a hotel friend, actually always AirBnB or something. But I'm absolutely thrilled. Staff terrific friendly, room great and much better than expected (Bali bed on the terrace) as well as delicious food. The breakfast is better than many Brunchangebot in Germany. The dinner is varied and simply delicious! Thank you!

Absolute Favorite Hotel!
The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is a treat and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasantly quiet. During dinner, quiet live music is played on some days.
The rooms are very clean and spacious, the high light was with us the whirlpool in the room where you could relax super.

Its hard to recommend any hotel, but this is one, great service, nice breakfast and delicious dinner.

Almost everything is perfect. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are very clean and large enough. However, there is no closet in the room. You can only leave the clothes in the suitcase. Otherwise you can't put them right anywhere.
The food is excellent and the drinks prices at the meals or in the bar are reasonable.
The whole hotel complex is neat, clean and chic.
This will definitely be our destination again at the next Mallorca — trip.

My girlfriend and I took our first holiday together here. We had a few complications booking it but once we were there we were treated like royalty. The staff are all exceptional and really do go the extra mile in making you feel relaxed and welcome. The food is awesome, with a wide range of dishes to choose from suiting all dietry requirements. The cocktails are great too as we mounted our room tab up to €140. Adults only so no kids making everything nice and chilled. By far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Would like to thank all the staff at the Astoria Playa for making our holiday truly perfect.

We stayed in the senior junior suite a charm of room. The staff a 10 and the food fantastic. A very pleasant experience, I'm sure I'll repeat.

We were in the Junior Suite room. It is a great room, very spacious, very large Jacuzzi and the bed is the same. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For me a 10! 'll.

Wonderful experience. Quiet and beautiful Hotel, great pools where you can sunbathe in those Balinese beds, hammocks comodidimas along with a terrific cocktail. The buffet of both breakfast and exceptional dinner, quality in the products, variety, good presentation… perfect. But definitely the best of all its staff, the girls of reception friendly and attentive, the wonderful waiters all, I like to start the day with a laugh, with the salty of the "Sevillians". Saana, impeccable and wonderful, the head of the hall, the cook of Ka Iron… all. Thank you very much for your attention. A 10 + 10

So far one star. I woke up at 4am and arrived at 2pm only to be told the room is not ready. I wait outside of the hotel in a hot weather. Well done.

Great food and accommodation. Pools are well maintained and never busy. Easy to get a sun lounger. Only downsides are charging for water at meal times and small toilet cubic in our room. I have to perform complex yoga moves just to sit down.

Absolutely the best hotel, staff and experience I have ever been on. Especially Angie and Juanfran stand out what was the best birthday present in all my 41 years. Lovely hotel very friendly staff. The thing that spoils this hotel is the constant bang bang music coming from the pool area. It's 5.30pm and still going. No chance of sitting on balcony and relaxing in peace. It's driving us mad. It's not even a hotel for youngsters who mostly older guests. Complained but nothing changed.

Best hotel in all alcudia staff very friendly. Rooms great plenty of sunbeds. Food good, can't find a fault in anything. Would highly recommend.

Great location near plenty of restaurants, right across from the beach, a short walk from the marina and a short bus from Alcudia. Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The adults-only environment (especially the pool) is fantastic and relaxing!

We stayed at the Astoria Playa from August 3 to 10.
I had discovered this hotel by chance on Instagram and charmed by the situation (5 min walk from the beach to the turquoise waters) and the infrastructure offered this one we chose to spend our summer vacation there.
The welcome was perfect, to make us wait we are immediately offered a "refreshment" fresh water, wine or champagne!
Our "relax" room on the first floor with a view of the hotel's pool and restaurant, had a Balinese bed on the balcony to relax and sunbathe in privacy.
2 large twin beds provide all the comforts necessary for optimal rest.
The room is spacious and also with a nice bathroom. (Small negative point the toilet in the bathroom and some chair noises on the top floor but nothing unbearable)
At the pool we have the choice between 2 places the pool near the restaurant and the show stage and the "lounge" a little larger. Both are pleasantly quiet and feature sunbathing and Balinese beds easily accessible, the lounge music played throughout the day really makes us feel elsewhere and let go. I also confess that the fact that this hotel is an "adult only" contributed greatly to our relaxation and pleasure during our stay.
The evening musical entertainment is very nice and quality (note anyway that if you want to be quiet and quiet at night ask for a room seen lounge pool as the music and shows last until midnight.

An incomprehensible 4 star hotel. I have never seen something like that. Bags carried into the room. On arrival a glass of sparkling wine. Incredibly friendly staff. The food is a dream. Solely for that purpose, hotel should be 5 star plus.
Zummergrösse rather small but adequate. 2 great pools with comfortable rattan chairs. Recommend this hotel everyone without thinking.
Beach alcudia super. However, in and of itself is not that great.

Adults only, great to avoid awful screaming children. Location is awesome, a 2 minute walk to the beach. Room is clean, spacious and the superior room comes stocked with complimentary items such as beer, wine and soft drink. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Food is quite nice, but somone in the kitchen is very heavy handed with the salt. Recommended.

Modern. Clean and well kept. The Wi-Fi is good. The food is fantastic. Every day there is a large selection that varies from day to day. What really stands out are the people who work here. Everyone is extremely professional and seems to really enjoy working here; it creates a great atmosphere.

A really great hotel that deserves every star. A top team of staff from the reception to the room service restaurant. All not only endeavour that feels the guest at home, but that the guest is something special. The employees look satisfied and that is reflected in the service again. The owner seems more than just an Investionsobjekt. Way to go! :)

Rooms are clean and in very good condition. Equipped with a safe, fridge large screen TV, for all the one holiday need. :) contrary to what I've read here, Wi-Fi was free when we were there, is nowadays also normal.
There are rooms in different size than this objectionable had the info to the. ) Also, I had caught even a mattress, I could sleep on the class. Is is absolutely subjective, she would've taken but still like to! ;)
-The pool area especially for the evening and really liked me and has louge character is beautifully lit.
-Close to the Beach offers the possibility for evening walks or jogging.
— And for all who is with foreign languages hard DJ, no fear! I know not how many languages some of the staff speak german is in any case! :)

For a resort-style hotel this was pretty good, even off season. Good food and drink selection. Great customer service. No parking but easy to park around it.

Awesome hotel… Like no other I have stayed at. Very high standards of service, food not mass produced slop that some other 4 stars serve and the rooms are modern. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

What a place! We're here now and every day my girlfriend and I can't believe how good the food is, how friendly the staff are and how clean it is. Well worth every penny. 2min walk to the beautiful beach that you almost need not bother with because you always get a sunbed by the pool and, again, the staff are amazing. As are the cocktails. You won't be disappointed if you decide to stay here.

We were for a week (last week in June 2014) at Astoria Playa, Board half-board, double room.
The hotel is very well kept and clean and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. We have us there very well felt, just from the first day. Apparently has been also recently complete renovated and built the second pool.
Großel praise prior to the kitchen crew: rarely as excellent eaten during the holiday. No matter what there was, no matter on what day it was perfect and the selection üpig.
All rooms have views of one of the two pools, which by the way, both are absolutely awesome! There are enough (free of charge) sun loungers. The rooms are clean and ordntlich, a mini fridge, a cost obligations safe (there are other free — but ok), flat-screen TV and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi is free of charge, only for the PC in the ground floor, you have to pay two euros. But actually barely even more of a need. The decor is modern, stylish TOP and definitely has a feel good factor. The evening program is ok, insofar as it may be for this thrilling. Mine didn't, but this hotel can't do anything. I like it in General not.
From the hotel it is min. To the beach on foot in 2-3. Here, sufficient sun loungers can be rented if you would like to lie on the beach. There is also enough space.

Clean modern rooms with excellent facilities. Deserves its newly acquired 4 star rating.

The Hotel is beautiful and modern. Not far from the beach. But what has me annoyed us (young Couple) most of the should you have to pay for Wi-Fi. 3 € for a hour and 15 for 1 week. Hello! Something like that is part of it but in the year 2013! The two Pools are but super. Was super quiet, only adults had. (Why I do not know. ) Only the Breakfast and this, too, is only rarely used. Was absolutely ok. Only this Grill&Bar, however, we have used two times and were very disappointed. For example, tomatoes and Mozzarella:tomatoes were still green and the Mozzarella was so bad I did not think that you can kind of call it Mozzarella. Also from the salad, one should let the Finger. In General I don't recommend to eat there and what to visit different.
