Conveniently close to the airport, but far enough away that you don't realise. Lovely time here. Staff and hotel great. Hotel seems to be well balanced so never a problem getting restaurant table even though busy season. Staff very efficient keeping everything moving along food and drinks wise.

We have just spent a week here and it was amazing. I've stayed at many hotels but rate this one highly for numerous reasons: cleaniness, food was quality with plenty of variety, staff work extremely hard… not once did I see a member of staff stood talking to each other (cleaning rooms & in restaurant), pool area was well monitored and clean, staff were friendly & accommodating to all my lost property requests. We loved watching the enthusiasm of the staff doing water areobics and kids club, they did a super job with all the children. The beach being just outside was such a bonus and we had photos taken and printed in reception. There is a hairdressers and mini market on site. Please visit the hairdressers as they do all sorts of treatments and the lady I met was lovely and did a fabulous job. My son (7) woke up this morning and said "I want to go back to that hotel mum". I would definitely go back and recommend this hotel. Thank you for our fab holiday, we needed it!

Just had an eleven night stay, and would recommend to anyone wanting a friendly, family orientated all inclusive hotel in a great location for a relaxing holiday. The location is in the slightly quieter end of Porto del Carmen, approximately 30 to 40 minute walk from the start of the main centre, but only 4 euros in a taxi. Although the hotel policy was that no beds should have towels left unattended for 30 minutes or more, this was never enforced. Most of the beds were covered in towels by 8.30, nothing out of the ordinary, I suppose. We hired the beds on the beach a couple of times to get full effect of the sea breeze. From here, you could still access the all inclusive drinks and have a good connection to the hotel Wi-Fi The all inclusive package was OK, but nothing special. I would budget to go out for a few meals, as the buffet can get a bit monotonous. There's loads of great restaurants in town, and a must of you want a cocktail with a kick. Overall, we had a great stay.

Hotel in front of a beautiful beach in the vicinity of the airport (takeoffs and landings do not really bother), is articulated around the pool (there is also a small for children) and the surrounding garden. The rooms are comfortable, as well as The bathrooms, there is the safe, at a weekly charge.
This is an all inclusive, however not nocturnal, what this I found bizarre compared to other similar.
The Kitchen is satisfactory with a wide range of proposals, although I recommend AI. Italians to avoid pasta and rice in order not to run into disappointments. Around The pool there are other day refreshment points, depending on the hours when there is no restaurant service.
With a very comfortable walk you can access areas rich in shops and points for renting cars.
Definitely positive Experience.

Very good location on the beach. (sunbeds are paid). Noisy pool at 2/3 not heated. Very efficient and smiling staff. Nice spacious rooms. Food really to improve although diversified. Animations evenings correct but sound level too high.

At this time in this hotel, from May 26th to June 2nd, 2018. It does not take me more than a day to get an opinion of this establishment. Abominable food, noise constantly, we who wanted to rest C is missed. We are not in a period of school holidays but children who howl all day, music all day by the pool, no Transat on the beach (paying) only the room is beautiful and the hotel is on the beach. For the rest flee.

Disappointed. Very noisy Hotel during the day (music at the edge of the pool), impossible to rest. Abominable restoration… I would not advise anyone in search of well-being and rest. Fortunately, located on a very beautiful beach of fine sand.

I was on vacation at this resort in Lanzarote for a week of rest from the routine and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I have been to other resorts but in this I found the peace that served. The resort is facing the sea, offers a beach overlooking the ocean with its umbrellas and, for those who do not want to face the cold water and wind of Lanzarote, 3 swimming pools with a multitude of chairs on which to lean. Near the pool there is a mini bar where you can drink anything and eat snacks for all the time the pool is working, including the all inclusive. The rooms are huge, really large, spotless and absolutely soundproof, climate always working and adjustable, perfection. The area on which the resort extends is quite ample so you have to face some small salts to reach them but nothing "tiring". You enter the restaurant from the hall, with the sumptuous buffet never equal to the previous day that offers food for all tastes, even for Italians! In the evening there are always evenings of animation for children, then move on to animation for adults, but nothing that I am particularly interested. There is a waterfront just behind the Sol that allows you to take long walks or pedal with one of the bikes that rent directly from the hotel. Recommended for families, couples, people who want to find a relaxing moment.

Very close to airport in a quieter part of town and right on the beach. Beautiful surroundings. Our 1st room was not up to standard (dirty, shabby, mouldy tiled bathroom, damaged furnishings) but we were immediately moved to a different room which we could not fault. Plenty of food and drink. However the food wasn't to our taste, preference or standard in the restaurant. Disappointed that we had to eat out for breakfast and dinner after paying all inclusive. Saying that the restaurant was always full when opened and there was many options but just not for us. Very nice and helpful staff.

Great service, great rooms, new and fresh. Great location Unfortunately the only restaurant is self service, despite the wide choice, the food tastes of canteen.

Lovely hotel. Could do with a little lick of paint here and there, but on the whole can't be beat. Food and drink is good, for an all inclusive, some stuff gets the same after a while, but really can't complain. Beautiful sea views and a beach a stones throw away.

Despite the bad weather, the stay for my family was very nice as both the lovely facilities, the spaciousness of the room, the variety in the restaurant and the shows and, above all, the friendliness of the staff (especially the service of Restaurant) made our holiday have been much more enjoyable. Recommended place at 100%. For our part, we are looking forward to repeating!
I don't put 5 stars, because the beds could improve to get to be at the level of the rest of the resort! ;-)

Decent hotel. Big Room rather pretty. The kitchen's good. Noisy clientele.

Rooms are very nice. Recently redone. Facilities are good and dinner is as expected for a four star resort but they do a good job of trying to mix it up every night for dinner. Great beach access and 3 pools seems enough to accommodate most though the weather hasn't been terribly cooperative during our stay.

Not bad place, food pretty much what you'd expect from a European All Inclusive Resort. Went in April and Pools a touch too cool for me.

Good hotel, international buffet food quite good. Very friendly staff, cleanliness of the rooms great, less in the common areas. Predominantly English clientele with small children (and often rude). Purely English entertainment.

The hotel is well a bit sloppy, the staff fantastic, the food very better.

Good fitness activities for adults, great entertainment for both children and adults, excellent food both choice and quality. Located right next to the beach, you can walk straight out onto the beach footpath. Cafes and shops only a short walk away. Bike rental available on site and from other nearby shops.

The hotel is located in a very good location to the beach. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are large and nicely decorated, but the bathroom was in a few places. The entertainment programme for young and old is great. The grounds are well maintained and clean. The food is partly a little too finished and not all too high quality. Nevertheless, you will always find things that taste good, for example: Great fresh Omlette for breakfast. However, the coffee is unpalatable and the cocktails in the all-inclusive offer are also not the hit. Nevertheless, we can highly recommend the Hotel Sol Lanzarote.

Very nice hotel considering the price. People complained about the quality of the food. But it's buffet food, what else to expect? Around the hotel the restaurants are all for tourists so if you want good food you need to take the bus to the next city. The coffee for breakfast is not drinkable so you are better off drinking tea. The only real problem is the baby's pool which is not heated enough. So baby's can't stay more than 20 minutes in the pool during winter season.

Absolutely love this place it's amazing Not only for adults but for children aswell there is always something on for us all would love to go again! deserves more than A 4star hotel it's easily accessible also for disabled people as we took my son who is disabled n able to get everywhere x.

Very good location. First line of beach and in the center of the island. The staff is lovely.

Good location in Puerto del Carmen, somewhat removed from the shopping area but it is worth its good direct access to the beach, its large and comfortable rooms and the friendliness especially of the reception staff, especially Abel. Great to come with kids for their facilities and the buffet is varied and acceptable for the week we have been; The food is quality and the live cooking for grilled meat and fish is appreciated. We'll repeat again with our young children.

Fantastic hotel… we went all inclusive. The food was top class, great variety and as much drink as you can handle. Rooms were huge and the bed, well it's like 2 doubles together… beautiful views and the staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Iago was our pool barman, what a legend… I cannot fault the Hotel… perfect. See you next year…

Very clean facility. Staff very friendly.
Annoying is the fee for the room safe in the amount of €3 daily. It really doesn't have to be at all inclusive. Also the fee of €1 per exchange of bath towels.
Breakfast, snacks and evening buffet are excellent.

Staff are lovely and friendly, hotel is very clean, entertainment is a let down, but I guess if you are offering inclusive alcohol, they don't particularly want you there for too long. Food was cold and extremely bland, even to cook an omelette correctly was a challenge to them they should really eliminate the compulsory all inclusive and reduce their prices. We ate next door in the blue horizon, which incidentally is owned by the hotel also, this was much better quality, as it was charged for, and not part of the all inclusive. It would be my preferred area in Lanzarote, Matagorda, as there are some nice bars just a 5 minute walk from the hotel, which are more entertaining than the archaic poor cabaret acts in the hotel. I couldn't say it was value for money, as other hotels we visited close by were cheaper and offered better facilities, would I return, no. But I would pop into to blue horizon to say hello to the lads and have a bite to eat.

Sol Lanzarote, nice and nice Hotel. Beautiful for its exterior and interior. The food was very good. Very good customer service.

We had a week and we loved it. The staff were very helpful and comodisimas. Varied and rich meals. We'd love to be back soon. Thank you all for making us spend a good holiday.

We stayed in December 2017. The structure is not brand new but has been recently renovated, and is overall pleasant. The rooms are very spacious, modern and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is varied, of international type, the Italians more "conservative" could have some problems but all in all the choice there, just adapt a little bit. One big mole: there's no espresso coffee:)

For a lower star hotel sol Lanzarote is pretty good, as with a lot of all inclusive holidays the meals can get a bit repetitive, the staff very attentive and friendly we had a couple of issues that was sorted instantly, the area is nice secure exit and entry out to the beach kids pools are great if you have young children. Would highly recommend. Have stayed in higher rated hotels that don’t come close to this.

Either said the best hotel in the area… I find the price of rooms prohibitive compared to the quality. The rooms are clean, but the bedding is bad. Depending on the room's exposure, you can hear the planes taking off because the airport is very close. In December, no deckchairs on the beach and the swimming pool is heated to 23 °c. For towels, deposit of €20 and if you want to change them during your stay it is €1 per towel. Given the price of the rooms, it's grotesque. The buffet is very average. No real dishes, starters for example are canned corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, salad, onions, all not seasoned, manage you. The buffet is repetitive, even the fruits are not qualitative: dry tangerines, not ripe melon, hard bananas, … For the dishes, the fried ones are bad: dry or cold, soft fries. Frankly, hire a real Cook to live up to the supposed performance! Positive, the cocktails are good!

Large hotel with a large share of English guests. The rooms and the rest of the resort are clean but have come in the years. The food is rather average, soft drinks, wine and sangria as well as long drinks and spirits are offered. My criticism is about the food that in my view is bad or not at all spiced and unfortunately the pool also needs a repair.

I have been to this hotel 2 weeks… I found myself well from the start just arrived. All the staff are friendly and helpful, I had a big room with a view of the garden. I recommend to visit Playa Blanca Xké is a beautiful beach but also Playa Papagayo (although there is 5 km of dirt road) I recommend to all this property!

Maybe it would improve the control of the pool loungers, but it's the only downside! Very friendly and attentive staff, varied food (jars Hero for babies), clean and nice rooms although we had a view of the parking, 2 swimming pools, the beach at the door of the hotel, activities for children and adults (until daycare with child educator some Hours) and all inclusive… We'll be back safe.

Just returned from a weeks holiday, first impressions, a bit tired looking, but never judge a book by its cover! We had ocean view rooms n they didn’t disappoint, very spacious n very clean, food 5 star too, didn't get bored with it, variety excellent! All the staff happy & helpful, very friendly, shame we didn't book longer, would definitely go back, thank you sol for a lovely week!

Well located, the best thing about the hotel is the waiter service, especially mentioning Sergio, very nice and very attentive, making the stay very enjoyable, the worst thing is that the menus were very repetitive.

It’s alright. Staff are friendly and helpful, food is actually quite nice with unbelievable variety. However my “sea view room” was badly obstructed by a massive tree (with about a trillion birds on, constantly making noise). I personally expected more … activities in and around the hotel. This was not the case. In fact locals know the hotel as “the last hotel on the beach line” which is not far from the truth. Especially when is very likely you will come all inclusive here, it is also very likely to spend money out as purely there’s not much to do here, apart from baking yourself around the pool, eating, drinking … repeat. I see this place as more “family with kids” heaven. But if you’re a young couple, you may be slightly disappointed. Still everybody is different so I’m sure others will love it here.

Hotel is nice but the food is mediocre, seems to be much of the same thing and not much choice. The snack bar which is open during the day is much better. Been here a week and the towels have been changed every morning, but the sheets haven't been changed once. Floor doesn't get mopped in your room either. Activities for the kids are really good 2 mini clubs in the day and also kids kids club in the evening. Adult activities are hit and miss, no darts board as advertised. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel looks good in agency, large sea promenade, boulders grouped not very large and no cliffs. When I arrived: Nice view, nice and attentive reception. Beginning of inconvenience; "Sea View Room", surrounded by 2 buildings of the hotel, view at the bottom of a long cone a distant palm, a sea end in the bottom! I am offered another room; In front of the Terrace 2 very high buildings that leave nothing to see. 3rd proposal; An apartment with real sea view. I accept and the nightmare begins. No wardrobe in the room, no seat for suitcases, neon lights on head of bed real mosquito nest, large and old dilapidated chest (crooked, drawers difficult to open), no non-slip mat in the bathroom. The huge dresser took the 3/4 of the length, and many other miseries! The stewardship promises everything and does not fix anything! "All in" where everything is apart: nothing in the fridge, at the buffet we use and we must look for cutlery and drink in sachets or then Bacshich! The people occupying the apartment next to souls like barrels, trying to jump in my patio and I pass. Stewards warned, they send an effective employee and silence them in Cris. All this for two days in a row. Last night same scenario but change of staff. Manager like a fury, they have all the rights and I should not complain! Maid TJs The same, made the bed and changed towels, for the rest notes and Bacshich! have requested sheet claims but have preferred to do so via the net.

Spent a week here in September and it was by far the best holiday me and my girlfriend have been on. Staff are so friendly and speak very good English. Food is decent and they're very generous with the drinks! Pour your own beer was also a bonus! Great location, less than a minute to the beach and five minutes to the shops! Would definitely recommend anyone coming here.

Rooms are very nice bright and spacious. Very clean hotel with nice food and lovely people. Location fabulous.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Various possibilities of exposure with silent zones. Free Wi-Fi But constant nn however sufficient for searches and whats up. Common spaces arranged well with very green Hall D impact staff friendly evening entertainment basic but CMQ appreciable offers ample parking and a bus service for excursions. Hotel adjacent to the beach really nice with pedestrian area and bike rental cn possibility. Great location for transportation. The buffet kitchen is not at the top but cmq good the variety more or less the usual so the more you spend the days the more you get tired. 2 swimming pools, one of which is heated with a small area. Play area with billiards video games and ping pong. Laundry with tumble dryer JN Wash 8 kg complete with drying 9 euro nn bad to start off with everything in place. Poolside Bar CN All inclusive service you eat and drink all day including ice cream and bottled water to take them to the beach or to hike. For me it deserves as a value for money and services since it is also only 5 km from the airport. If you go to Lanzarote a must see the Timanfaya volcano, Playa Papagayo Beach and also Jameos de Agua both beautiful. Last Chicco the first site you will see at the ticket payment request the package with more destinations to save 30% there are two three or four. If you don't ask, they'il pretend nothing. With package you will have only one ticket for various sites. Have a nice trip.

Very nice hotel with plenty to see and do. Food is very nice, with plenty of choice for Breakfast Lunch and dinner. Staff are very friendly and polite, and rooms are kept very clean. Hotel is adjacent to the beach with access via a private door. 3 good sized pools and plenty of evening entertainment. Weather has been fantastic in late August, temperatures ranging between 28-32oc with a cooling sea breaze. Rooms also have Air-conditioning, TV and Fridge and Microwave.

Staff very friendly, competent and attentive. Exterior deserving a little refreshment but the rooms are beautiful, modern and clean. The all Inclusive is very comprehensive and gives access to a lot of services. I did not like the cocktails houses but the meals were always very satisfying: you get the money! The performances offered are of exceptional quality, the access to the sea is done in 2 minutes from the hotel portal. Only really negative: outer space (out of range) is too limited in high period or the public is important. Result it is often difficult to find a free Transat. All in all we had a very pleasant holiday. Thank you very much to the Sol Lanzarote team!

There is always something to eat for Italians do not try the pasta or you will be homesick. The rooms are spacious and clean and well soundproofed. Very nice pool but unless you get up at six to grab a seat (as some sick people) you won't find it before the three!

Nice international hotel and good food. We had a drive on the room given on arrival but the next day was changed. The only flaw in Italian animation is that there is no shadow…

We spent a week late March hotel very well, but very few French and staff do not speak French, the pool too cold the animations are average as it is too noisy the sound is not good, however the buffet very varied, the Rooms very well;

Very good hotel with very nice rooms and really nice staff. The food is good the beach is right next door. The only less are the desserts not always top and the English and German not very respectful. The pool chairs are taken in the morning for information. Otherwise very well.

Very good hotel, well located on the seafront. Beautiful garden with many palm trees and two beautiful swimming pools. Big downside: a lot of plastic glasses around the pools and found pushed by the wind, on the beach and in the ocean. It is dangerous for marine fauna and birds.

Just back from here we'd a great family holiday. I have to compliment the entertainment team guys ye do an amazing fantastic job Well Done. So looking forward to returning when yer renovations are completed☀️

Had a great time rooms clean staff friendly food OK would go back but not all inclusive.

The situation is good if it weren't for the noise of airplanes to take off and land. Poor facilities and the service is suitable for Spain of the third age in the month of January. All inclusive is a claim that charge it but it is only a claim, if they charge you till the water! More than a star would give him a fork.

Hotel elite, old and reserved for elderly people and with possible, since children are not allowed among its guests.
Preserved the roots of the macro hotels built in the past, when tourism began to develop in Spain, with those foreigners in search of Sun and cheaper beer. Even so, have managed to adapt to modern times and its facilities are very well-kept.
Nothing more enter we find ourselves with a huge reception, which gives way to a tropical garden with frogs, fish and plant species in the area, and from which we will pass to the pool area and restaurant. A giant swimming pool, salt water and that you never will tire of being, that Yes, the elderly gentlemen birds to book the best deck chairs to the edge of the pool and with sombrita, a penalty. They also perform many activities, they have bar, jacuzzis and beach access.
Speaking of restaurant, breakfast is one of the best I've seen in my life, with show-cooking and a variety of extreme. You can not eat or drink even half of what they offer and over have a terrace to enjoy better everything. 10.
In terms of rooms and to be a five star it, they are rather small, but very comfortable. Perhaps the worst thing is that the doors and windows continue to be of wood, that style of many years ago and making it look like you're in a beach apartment.

Nice personnel, dirty floors in the rooms. Although one might think it would be easy keeping tiled floors clean. There where stuff in the fridge from the last guest. Somewhat industrial food, but I guess that's what "all-inclusive" gives you. Kids had a real good time though. Very close to the beach.

NO waiter service anywhere, bathroom covered in mildew, Coffee after dinner self service in polystyrene cups, Kid"s entertainment held in area dorectly adjacent to bar amd finished 2130. The only saving grace was the pleasant staff.

The Sol Lanzarote has the best years already behind him. The 4-star say nothing! All inclusive can be booked though, but gets nothing for his money. The food is edible, the drinks 0 2l, gets even after asking man bichts more (all invlusive? ) Rooms at 2 * standard, no longer! All in all not recommended! At least worked the transfer to another hotel. Thanks to the tour guide.
