Slightly off the beaten path, nicely maintained property. It was nice to find s bath with a tub… got to wash and massage my feet which I haven’t been able to do since I started in St. John. Santiago is an easy 10 km walk from here.

A truly amazing place that still maintains essence of its past era. If you are around, it is worth spending a night and walking around its immense estate.
A stream crosses its immense estate, surrounded by magnificent trees whose shade is appreciated for the freshness, smell of ma apradera and the singing noise of the flow of water.
A walk as deserved rest and recovery of the pilgrim that is very much appreciated.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The best place to spend the night on the way to Santiago de Compostela.

Haven of peace is the word! Pazo Gallego near Lavacolla ideal to rest after a long journey, take a walk in the meadow to the mill or read a book in the dam. It also has a small hermitage to be able to pray. A spectacular stone patio and a dining room with lots of light and stained glass. The treatment of Alfonso and the lady was excellent. The place is beautiful and very cozy. Highly recommended. Price according to the place and its benefits.

Cozy hotel, located very close to El Camino. The hosts at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are way too comfortable. There's a bus stop right at the hotel that takes you to/from downtown Santiago in around 20min for 1.50 euro pp.

It's charming. Its stones, the gates, the rooms so peculiar. Everything breathes something special.

This was the best bed on the Camino by far.

Pazo Xan Xordo was the highlight of all our stays on the Camino! Beyond beautiful, quaint, authentic and such warmth of hospitality would be hard to find elsewhere. Truly a wonderful experience for us! Thanks to Alfonso, our host!

The hostel is off-route of the Camino but it was well worth walking the extra mile for. The ambience is old-world Spanish but is very well appointed, quiet, restful and is super clean. A perfect place to rest in when your feet are just about to give in after days of long walks on the Camino. The old Capilla, the very first church in Lavacolla that houses La Nuestra Señora del Carmen is memorable. The house's added trivia being the place of birth of Beata Sr Luisa just adds more spiritual volume to its charming history. I would be proud to recommend Pazo Xan Xordo to my friends. Especially to my priest friends who also have plans on walking the Camino soon. Alfonso, the owner being such a most gracious host is a huge bonus to this beautiful place.

Beautifully located hotel, very nice people.

This has got to be the most beautiful place I've ever stayed. The grounds are wonderful and the host is so nice. He drove us to a restaurant for dinner, then picked us up afterwards. The breakfast the next morning was good too. I would have given it 6 stars if that were available. So beautiful; you can use up your camera memory just on this one place. If you have the opportunity to stay here, you should definitely take it.

This is a beautiful and tranquil little haven in Galicia. Excellent service and accommodation. A must for the weary traveller.

This hotel was lovely, very clean and well appointed in the traditional Spanish style… very friendly and helpful staff, I would definitely recommend this place, and I would come back again!

Really relaxing place to stay and very friendly and helpful owner. Historical manor house and large gardens worth exploring. Fantastic surroundings. Comfortable and spatious bedroom although beginning to show its age. Nice breakfast.

Located in Labacolla, Pazo Xan Xordi is just a short drive from Santiago de Compostela. The hotel is lovely and has air conditioning (believe it or not, a rare commodity). What I liked most was that you could walk out back to visit a small garden, a now unused grain mill and a little ravine you can relax and soak in. It has all the amenities of a very nice hotel while affording you a rural experience. The bed frames were very intricate, ornate woodwork. The breakfast was also very good.

Far from everything except the airport, was not bad, home flirty but we were not able to enjoy the breakfast.

We were on 3 January, charming, beautiful place, the ability and good attention his strong point, congratulations, recommended 100 percent. Thank you very much for everything.
