The staff were very friendly and helpful. Young and diligent Staff. However the breakfast formula is a disaster. A lot of nonsense and little content. I advise you to go to the establishment right in front, "the bright". It's brutal. The best squid sandwich in Madrid and good beer faucet. Better have breakfast there.

Fun room and a nice bed. It was also the perfect location. We walked from the train station.

Very nice modern hotel. The room size is adequate with nice amenities and light. The bed was comfortable. We spent two nights there and there is a rumbling noise you have to get used to. Probably the train. It is a great location, if you are on foot. The staff is great, except for the breakfast guy. Breakfast is a little weird, and the breakfast guy reminded me of the soup Nazi from Seinfeld. There is a nice area to hangout.

Value for money. Excellent location and affordable prices. Nice no frills hotel.

A discovery for those lost nights in Madrid or in need of accommodation near the station. Although the rooms are small all this new and make you feel at home. Many details care and careful personal attention. We have already stayed several times with the kids and will repeat. Also, the room they have for reading or work is very nice. The relationship between quality/price/location is fantastic.

A cozy place with a perfect location for the museum area and Atocha station. It is not fancy but it is very clean and the employees very friendly and helpful. The price of the rooms is correct quality price, what if I found expensive is the breakfast and the slogan as if you carry 2 suitcases you must pay 2 "cages" as in u a although it is XL do not enter and it does not seem logical to have to pay for it. Anyway it's a recommended place.

I loved staying at this hotel, the space is enough to stay, very quiet and quite comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My daughter loved the smell so pleasant and the guy who served us breakfast, an affordable price and the perfect location. Next to the metro, Atocha station, very close to the Prado museum and right next to the Reina Sofía museum. Anyway, I just have to say that… we'll definitely be back! By the way the cool décor.

The location of the hotel is simply perfect like everyone has said before. Is about 5-10min walk from the Atocha train station and is around the traingle of museums having the Reina Museum at 3min, the Prado at 10-12 and the Thyssen as well. There are lots of cafés and restaurants of all types from mcdonalds, KFC, TGB, VIPs and many more. The breakfast was quite expensive for what it was. They also have to remember that not everyome is from the same continent and some rules may not be the same; for example: I had an issue when I ordered a taxi very early on the morning. The taxi never arrived so we had to take one on our own. When we were doing the check-out is when we get informed that the hotel pays beforehand for an exclusive-type taxi, while we didnt asked for that type of taxis and really when have I ever payed beforehand for a taxi? So make sure to know this before ordering a taxi and that way you won't be troubled with those differences. The room are comfortable enough, and I stayed in one with a view and I was very happy with it. The hotel is very up to date and clean and the beds are simply amazing and very comfortable. Mind you, they do not have a dresser so you will have to leave everything on your luggages and/or bags. In general even though we had the taxi issue, I plan to stay here next time as it is simply a perfect location hotel and a very clean, comfortable and nice one.

I traveled alone for work and used the smallest room they have. For a short stay like mine is perfect value for money. Very friendly staff, modern and beautiful décor and overall very well assembled the concept they want to transfer. I did not make any food so I can not rate the service and comfortable bed and clean room.

A practical hotel very close to the train station, perfect if you need to take an early train. Close to the main museums and attractions. Lots of restaurants nearby. Rooms are small and the bathrooms are not very convenient, but it is good enough for a quick sleep!

The location is ideal. There is a metro mouth around the corner and Atocha renfe is just a few yards away. Close to restaurants, museums and a stone's throw from the Retiro. The staff were very friendly and helpful; The rooms, tastefully decorated and the beds very comfortable, you can even buy the mattress! I'll repeat for sure.

Catastrophic… Long live the fried smells of KFC that goes back into the room to the 2nd floor. Shower leak that transforms the entrance into equipped. What else to say…

A very central hotel. Clean rooms, and comfortable bed. The rooms are not very big but more than enough to sleep and spend a couple of days.

Modern, Crisp, and Clean. Everything one needs in a hotel room. Whole hotel appears to be recently modernized and I don't mean a bit here and there like a lot of Euro hotels do and bump them up a star. This was a full revamp and they did a amazing job. Check in was quick and hassle free. Yes… as others have said rooms are small, but nothing different from most Euro hotels. If you need a valet or special room service, this is not the place. Food was simple and tasty packaged in a take away box based on their 4 step menu. Include in room price, but doesn't appear to be the case with all the fares. Wifi was consistent with 5 Mbps down and 2 Mbps up. Only had a few slow periods. Definitely will stay there again and will chose it over higher end hotels I've stayed at in Madrid… very satisfied.

The rooms are very well equipped, spacious and of good quality and the service and the attention of all the people that work there flawless. Addition is perfectly located, just a few minutes walk from Atocha station and surrounded by the most important tourist attractions in Madrid (Museo Reina Sofia, Prado, Cibeles, Retiro, …) Highly recommended.

It is a place with a great location. You can walk 10 minutes to the Atocha station. Museum Reina Sofia is a 4 minutes. To the rededor find Café, tapas, terraces and a great atmosphere. The personal of the hotel is of him more friendly. The tiny room but enough to spend the night. Very very clean and recommended.

Hostel beautiful but very small rooms. Not there is room for a wardrobe, only a structure with 5 hangers hanging. There are no drawers and there is no place to save the case, unless it is one tiny weekend. Certainly it is not to go for a long time or with lots of luggage. Lack the sheet above the bed. You just put a Nordic and if it is hot, you handles or stay with nothing covering you, or leave the air conditioning put the night. Too bad.

No, it is not a 5 *, is a hotel 3 * and its category should give the maximum assessment, since excess meets the expectations of the most demanding customer, service, professionalism, friendliness, cleaning, design, comfort, Wi-Fi, location. Is perfect, something small, but you can not ask for more. It has been a discovery.

Very close to Atocha, small room with the strictly necessary but very clean. In my view case to a wall. Wi-Fi fast. Best breakfast in a bar. Equipment similar to an ibis budget.

Basically you get what you pay for. The photos are not very accurate, the hotel rooms and corridors are far more cramped. However, everything is clean and neat, there's free Wi-Fi and it very conveniently located for the train station. The staff are helpful and friendly. There are plenty of cafés and bars near by (even a KFC and a McDonald'S), though I would avoid El Brillante as it is an utter rip off. There's also a little snack shop if you want to stock up on supplies. The hotel doesn't provide meals, but there is a couple of vending machineswith a good selection in and some of the cafés are open for breakfast. Perfectly servicible, very good value for money but I wouldn't use it for more than an overnight stay, especially if you have children. And the shower is absolutely fantastic!

Great room 501, small yet renovated and good air conditioner.

The reception was under renovation, but the service is friendly and very nice. The room I had was a good size for one person. Everything was clean. The bathroom is clean and new. The bed comfortable and clean and the air conditioning works very well. Very close to the train station (5 min walk) and the center of Madrid (approx. 15 min).

Very good deal, keep the luggage if you do not have the room ready, totally renovated facilities in the rooms, good price. Very good location.

Although it is an old hotel, they have recently had new rooms put in place. We stayed in the a new room on floor 6. The new rooms are great, modern and clean. Working air conditioning and fully opening window. Lots of space to store clothes and a large TV that has many channels. Only issue was the small lift which could only fit about 3 people in, but it's better than no lift. The staff were very friendly every time we were there.

A step away from the metro and train Station of Atocha, Retiro Park and lots of dining options around. (The mythical Bar's Brilliant, one of the sites to take one of the best bocatas de calamares (squid of Madrid) for example! We got a renovated room and outside, small but very apañada for a few days and noise at all, very quiet. By putting a paste, the reception is a little overwhelming. I would think also to give him a change.

Fatal. Already not so expensive that it is, that's pretty for what it offers, but because it has no air conditioning in the rooms. In the summer I was roasting in there, and above the shower was going wrong.

Excellent information and courtesy of the receptionist, room without renewing, ideal for a short stay in Madrid, the site is location to visit all the districts and monumental sites.

Adequate hotel for staying one night and no more. Rooms at medium-low quality. I do not recommend it for those who have thought to spend the night in the city several days and comes with the idea of walking much and rest well in a good bed. We were me and my shirts from 22 December to December 27, 2013 and a very quiet hostel a few steps from puerta del sol and cheap cheerful and all ok (if you go on 24 December book before leaving a restaurant because the 24 nights and all day closed).

Bad rooms, small and very old. Wireless don't work, its free. Yeah, if its is working. The location is perfect. Buth that's all the hotel ca offer you.

BAD!, only 2 sockets. One in bath room. Another one at a height of two meters. I killed a cockroach on the first day. Three days have passed already, but It laies on the floor still.

Well. It was very bad. Absolutely the worst hotel we stayed in Spain. There was no air conditioning. In Madrid, in July, when the highes were over 35degrees! Who would have thought there was no air conditioning just because it wasn't listed. Honestly where in the world is there a hotel without air conditioning especially for a place with scorching summers?! The wireless didn't work well either. When I asked the front what the problem was, they said "Because its raining! " and didnt seem to care. Though it had actually stopped raining. Don't be blinded by the price. We wasted two days in Madrid.

I host I aki 6 days and I don't have any keja, staff very friendly and attentive, I paid with my credit card. Aunke the guy told me ke he could pay the last day, we had a problem with a room ke gave to the outside and there was noise and the next day they moved us to another inside without any problems, this very well situated, with the renfe C1 get to Atocha and from there walk to the Buelta are 5 minutes, down just to the side you have a Chinese for your daily purchases of last minute close to retirement and others, you go over and pay a pittance and discounts for days, to us in your page we made the reservation the total 148 euros from Thursday to Tuesday, I have it very clear, the next time to the Buelta.

The hotel is located a five minute walk from the Atocha station, close to Reina Sofia Museum, the Prado and Retiro Park. To the rest of the attractions of the walk takes 20 to 30 minutes. Around the many cafes with reasonable prices. Room small, bathroom tiny, the repair was done a long time: the feeling that you get in the 50-ies of the last century. The level of Wi-Fi signal is poor, there is a TV. Room cleaning was done daily. Towels for five days never changed, the shampoo was missing. The hotel is quite consistent with their level of service and comfort and the cost and the location is excellent for undemanding travelers.
