Restaurant magnificent. The waiters Jose and Cintia, very professional and kind. The menu is very good and the decor beautiful. An unforgettable experience.

Excellent Hotel — can’t help you enough with whatever you need.

Great location (metro and bus, cercanias within walking distance), clean, quiet rooms, reception 24 h, with the staff friendly and super helpful. I discovered by chance, but surely to keep that in mind if I return to Madrid.

Comfortable Hotel and very friendly people. The only downside is that there is no plug next to the bed to charge the phone.

The hotel is situated near a busy road and a bit far from center which I could not immediately see from website I used to do booking. Also the hotel did not provide Wifi for the 2 days of my stay and tell me I could use the computer in Lobby! overall there are probably a lot better places to stay in that part of the city.

Very friendly at reception, I was made it easy to stay in Madrid… the only downside is that a lot of people don't respect each other's dream, a band of energy came in at 2 a. M. And I think that whole plant woke up. Too bad they don't put customers on their hotel farewell time or didn't really hit me even though I asked them to wake me up at 6:30 in the morning.

Modern, clean and comfortable. Spacious room, spacious bathroom, all ok. Marble floor without carpet.

Good hotel, close to metro and 10 min from the city center. Big, clean rooms, but Wi-Fi connection very poor.

The rooms with shower are very nice, the bathtub not so much.
The breakfast buffet is very complete and the dinners are complete and quite rich. The staff is very slow but polite.

It is very well connected a few minutes walk from atocha and next to a metro stop. The service is attentive, meals and varied and rich breakfast. I put 4 stars because I didn't like the shower from the bed.

Friendly and helpful Staff, moderate prices, spacious rooms and Metro to downtown just out the front door. A great stay that I would recommend.

Although the service and attention were correct, including that I facilitated the Wi-Fi without asking for it, and that it allowed me to see Netflix without a problem, the fact that the mini bar was empty, and the amenities did not stand out, along with the room as a whole, makes €115 for a double room, weekdays, in December, I seem expensive.

Family run hotel, the staff are very friendly and very helpful. Rooms clean and everything is very clean. Very convenient to visit the Center and also to the Airport (train and metro stations within walking distance).

We Stayed Sept 24-27, 2015. I can enumerate several reasons why we (couple and 1 daughter) DO NOT like our 3 night stay in Hotel Sancho. The value for our money in this hotel is Zero. Hotel Sancho is Definitely OVERPRICE for what you get. Seriously you do not get much in this hotel but hard bed to sleep, an extra chairs and TV. That's it. Not even a coffee pot. We always smell smoke at night that we could not sleep. The Wi-Fi is a Joke. It is Absolutely Horrible. It takes long to get connected and when we finally get on Wifi in the middle of our internet search you LOOSE THE CONNECTION and then you wait long again to get connected. This hotel is not close to the center of the town (Sol) which means you have to take the Metro or Bus. The receptionist smile at you but you do not get much help but one map. No help in showing you directions. Overall this hotel is Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED for the value of your money and most aspect. I usually choose hotel prior to travel for its rating and value but when we stayed in this hotel I am surprise that this hotel have 8.4 rating. I think it's misleading because it is not even close to 6. Madrid is a nice place to visit but our mistake is booking in this hotel. Our friend in other hotel in Madrid got much better value for their money than this Hotel (Sancho). I will NOT come back to this hotel again. This hotel is a rip-off.

First of all, when we arrived we were given keys to a room that was already OCCUPIED. The Wi-Fi did not work and we could not connect to it. The lights and TV in our room would not turn on. Paid $160 CAD for a very small room with nothing that works. No one speaks or understands any English so sorting out all of the problems we had was made even more difficult. Tried to print our boarding passes for a flight that leaves the following day and it took over two hours for them to do this for us. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to ANYONE, especially English tourists considering no one will be able to understand you.

I know of this hotel the cafeteria located in street delights. They served a very good breakfast, at a very affordable price, all in a pleasant and comfortable lounge. Always appreciated is the figure of Don Quixote and Sancho to the entrance.
