Review of Mas Salagros EcoResort & SPA 5*

Unfortunately we were very upset in general. The hotel shouldn't have a five star rating. The standard is 'chambre d'hôte', for those who know the French concept, but without the charm and the nice cuisine. Regarding this fact, the prices should be adapted to what it is. Even though you expect nice, healthy and simple ecological food but the food and restaurants were really disappointing. Especially the breakfast. You get frozen white bread, chocolate cream that is already dry because of having spent ages in a fridge, bad coffee, and juices supposed to be healthy out of a box full of sugar… The concept of healthy was totally failed, you eat more white sugar and proceeded food then elsewhere. The rooms shown on the website aren't real. The main part of them are small and decorated with low cost furniture. As a family you can hardly move. The baths don't have air evacuation and no windows. The result is that even in the suites you have constantly a terrible smell of sewage water… not really nice. The worst thing is the cleanness and the housekeeping. The rooms are hardly cleaned. Under the beds you can find centimeters of settled dust, spider webs, papers etc. You walk in the bathroom or a room and come out with dirty feet… and better you don't have a look at the corners or inside of the closets. The personal is really catalanista except some of them who try to work well and be nice. The walls aren’t isolated and you can participate at your neighbors private life. The gardener starts cutting the grass on Saturday morning around the rooms at 10 o’clock when people try to relax in their rooms or next to the pool… When you arrive with the car, as they didn't even invest in a proper driveway you will find it full of dust. Really disappointing location and nor recommendable for people who are looking for a nice, qualitative, clean, healthy place to relax.
