We have visited this lovely hotel for family holidays on several occasions and have really enjoyed staying there. It's a family-run business and is a little gem we discovered. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and the food is good. It has a rooftop pool and is not far from the village centre and beach. The hotel looks to upgrade facilities year by year too. We are panning to go again in 2020.

Cozy and soulful, though the rooms are a little small. But the food is very tasty!

We had a wonderful time at hotel merce the employees were nice, the food was great, we enjoyed the swimming pool and all other facilities we enjoyed it a lot, unfortunately our visit was to short next time we will stay longer and we would recommend the hotel to everyone and thank you very much hotel merce.

Friendly staff. The hotel is clean. Excellent food: every day new dishes, very tasty. But, the maid for 4 days did not wash the floor in the room, did not wipe the dust. Good reception work.

Good service good room but we didnt have a fridge so our drinks were a bit warm but overall good hotel.

Nice small hotel with small rooms. Food is good. Evening meals have to drinks, u have to pay for the drinks. Air conditioner is working ok. 10 min to the beach on foot. Prices are ok in nearby shops. Econom option. Rooms are cleaned everyday. The staff are helpful. In general values the money.

The room is not the one that promised, on arrival changed to another, not very cozy, not beautiful, automation strongly "glitches" the quality of Wi-Fi for euros per day leaves much to be desired!

I really like this hotel. It's not really chique, but they are so kind to children it's adorable. I also like the atmosphere. The staff does a GREAT job! If you're into a really elegant hotel you might want to look for another one, but if your want to have a relaxed holiday in Spain I can recommend Hotel Mercé!

The hotel is quite deep in the city, by the roads. It's 20 minutes to the beach. On the streets past souvenirs and shops with all sorts of things for tourists. The room is small and not very clean, old wooden windows. In the bathroom is not very clean (hair) and all old. Waifai is paid and for each device to pay 1 euro. Parking is free, 5 minutes walk from the hotel. But you'll have to leave a deposit for the gate key. We had a church outside the window. At first thought, beautiful, attraction, but it until the night beat the bells every 5 minutes. Not an hour, not half an hour, but every 5 minutes. I'm a little fed up. But in general, it's tolerable. Dinner is varied, but there were no features and chic. Gourmets are definitely not here. The beach line behind the railway tracks… Not scary of course, but how I would like without them. And the terrible is not that sand is not that pebble on the beach … It's the first time I've seen anything like this. Breakfast seemed scant, although we are not spoiled. At home, no one covers you with 85 dishes… Basically, as everywhere cereals with milk, toast and as if yesterday's salads with sluggish homon and dried croissants. And oh gods! This coffee made of vending machines (ALL HOTELS, WHERE WE WERE) is like water. After once came across mugs and plates not completely clean … If we lived here for a long time would be disappointed, but for 1 night will go. The price is not the lowest, but not expensive apparently for these services.

A great Hotel; especially our shower, and the great sun terrace to have it done to us. It is here round-the-clock. To make every evening changing Live programme of a different nature in the Bar in the evening nice in the evening. The Breakfast every Morning is a chef on site to prepare the alternating egg dishes fresh. The selection of the Breakfast buffet is huge and top notch. Only the cleanliness could be improve, otherwise, all real top.

The buffet leaves to be desired, drinks are not included in the meal it is necessary to pay €2 for a carafe of 50cl water. And the quality of the food is not at the height of a 4 star hotel. The staff is not friendly.

Food's bland at dinners but breakfast is usually good. Wifi costs 1€/day per device. Rooms are clean, beds alright and bathroom/shower good. Rooms lack a fridge and there isn't enough power outlets in 3 bed rooms. 2/5 decent hotel for good price.

First visit beer, stayed Tuesday to Saturday. Wonderful pleasant staff, very caring and helpful, food plentiful and excellent, rooms basic and clean, shower fabulous! Not bothered about the room as we don’t stop in there, bed comfy and asked for moor pillows, no matter what time of day it was staff were fab x.

Nice small hotel situated on 10 minute walk from the beach. Buffet is small but sufficient. Has a bar on the ground floor and at the solarium. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Cleaning ladies do a great job cleaning and will great you in the hallway. Even entertainment in the off season.

It's a very modest hotel. Your staff is not alive to solve any incident. Very kind. All very clean. Perfect for families. Don't expect great luxuries, but sure, they will make you spend a good stay.

Hotel correcto al lado del ayuntamiento y justo enfrente de la iglesia de pineda. Buena ubicacion a 8 minutos a pie de la playa. Para aparcar habitualmente hay bastante sitio en los alrededores del hotel.

Good deal. Normal rooms. Not very comfortable beds. The food is good buffet free. The best deal. Good atmosphere, the pool is on the roof. Very good views and the bar above is beautiful.

A great hotel 5 minute walk to the beach and shops, bars and cafes along the seafront. Rooms are clean and comfortable a bit basic. Good choice of food on the buffet lunch and dinner. I would stay here again.

Great reception, the staff is really nice, the rooms are sober but I think it was related to our package! Top bedding, and a good choice at the restaurant.

It has been a good experience as the service has been very good. The only complaint is that they take a little for my taste in serving you the food but nothing else.

Great small hotel; less than ten minutes walk to the beach. Convenient for nearby supermarket. Nice pool and sunbathing area.

My impression is OK, very friendly and competent reception in four languages, sometimes more or less good, it depends on who has service.
Breakfast is from 8-10 pm and very rich, it is for everyone and we constantly replenished. Attention, the coffee machine is set very strongly.
Lunch from 13-14 pm. We haven't tried it.
Dinner is from 19-21 pm. Buffet, very rich and tasty, every day something else, for everyone there is a bit of it.
The only thing that is really annoying is that the drinks have to be paid expensive and you can not bring anything yourself, but that is in almost 90% of the hotels so. Well, at least water should be there.
The kitchen staff (waitress) is mostly rudely annoyed, except for the chef at the buffet, who is always nice, polite and always has a smile over, but the longer one is there, and always greets friendly, the friendlier everyone will be.
The rooms are clean and adequate from the furnishings of the category. Are cleaned daily by the friendly cleaning staff.
We had a small room to the courtyard, the Lüfterrohr was on the balcony, very noisy and very disturbing at night. On request we can easily change rooms. And could have changed even further until we found a pleasant room.
But the second was top, outwardly, bright and tidy. I've added some photos.
The beach is well 5-10 minutes, so not necessarily beachside.
Daytime moderately noisy (street), very quiet at night.

Just spent a week here. Great hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast selection. Ideal for anyone looking for a no fuss break.

It's Horrible, there are chewing gum under the hammocks, it has sand in the pool and no lifeguard. The shower carpets are red, the dirty beds full of hairs and chopsticks from the ears on the floor. The food of days ago and bitter. The receptionists do not know anything, that is not flamenco (it is an entertainment). Separate the families of rooms when you have ordered the same and together, to have the same and together you have to pay €30 per day. There is no disco, but the upstairs bartenders are very good. Do not go please do not recommend it at all.

Great low budget with some compromise. The 24h reception very convenient location from the bad train R1 to the buses from the airport. 3 stars the right.

Quiet village, old but clean, berry good breakfast.

There are refurbished rooms and some are not. Despite the touch of a refurbished bed had a broken leg. The food is quite vien and there is quite a variety. For the price very well. Parking nearby is blue area but it is surrounded a bit and is parked well. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

For a hotel of 3 stars, it was a great experience. Tasty and fresh food, variety and colours. The dimensions of the rooms correspond to the booking criteria. I am very satisfied of the clean swimming-pool, as well, next time, if I go to Spain, to the sea, I will definetly choose for this hotel.

Rooms some of which are very old, the bathrooms are newly eat little variety, great roof terrace, Parking around the corner.

Best hotel of the area in terms of price — quality, emphasizing primarily for its cleanliness, care, and treatment of both its management and its staff and quality of the buffet. I recommend your stay. I'll be back again.

We had a Really GOOD Time we were 11 Nights B&B and enjoyed every day the Staff were VERY friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble and we would say it was one of our BEST STAYS EVER in the Costa Brava we would certainly go back to this hotel at any time we were there Sept 9th — — Sept 20th Lovely place Lovely STAFF lovely HOTEL.

Cheap and cheerful! It's very reasonable and you get the service you'd expect for the price. The room was clean and basic, but they don't have aircon. Breakfast was plentiful, but not great quality, and the staff are pretty friendly and seemingly multilingual. The hotel isn't great for small children, however — the rooms aren't very baby-safe, the balcony was positively dangerous, and there was a mix-up with pre-ordered cots for both us and friends who had booked separately.

The best downtown hotel in the population and its best service, both waitresses, as girls of the cleaning. Excellent.

I stayed here for 2 weeks. The food is very satisfactory with a wide range of choice. The rooms are comfertable but it gets very hot in the night. Most of the rooms do have some ants but not too much to be of any nusense. The service is great. Lovely people. Overall its a great hotel.
