5 stars This was my best hostel experience so far. The staff is so friendly and they always have something new to recommend to you. The tours through the night clubs was amazing, and the hostel itself has everything you need, and also very clean.
Shout Out to Vini (the receptionist) and Felipe (tour guide) for making the experience so much better!

I arrived in Barcelona, having lost my phone in the train station, and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind in helping me to recover it. I then enjoyed a week long stay :) Rooms and bathrooms were large and comfortable and it was fun to meet and get to know other travelers.

+very friendly staff + good location — 'pubcrawling' isa rip-off, don't sign up for it. — paella wasn't good, I recommend to go in a restaurant. — noisy.

Friendly staff with 24 hour reception desk, spacious lockers under the bunks to store your luggage. Nice common areas and they also provide walking tours of the cities and busses/metros to clubs.

Everything is absolutely great. Front desk is extremely friendly, people are super nice, rooms are kept clean. My only issue is that you have to press the shower multiple times in order to get it to work. Not a huge issue, but I'm a really big shower person so that wad pretty detrimental for me.

A good apartment to spend a few days in Barcelona. Very complete and well attended.

Great Hostel. The location is very convenient. The staff is the best!. Very friendly and easy to talk to. Anthony and Adi in particular were Top Class! Definitely coming back.

Very quiet hostel, clean rooms, clean bathrooms and showers, friendly staff, PC and games room available, cafe, kitchen, closet under the bed to keep belongings… Everything you need to sleep peacefully and enjoy Barcelona.

Lovely rooms, great location, bar crawl every night, meals every day bar Monday, Anthony the chef is a god amongst men (buy him a bottle of Xibeca for me). Will always stay here when I come to Barcelona. The staff can't do enough for you, I love it here.

My visit to the hostel was with a group of refugees from different countries through the Spanish Commission of Assistance to the refugee of Barcelona and the experience was very enriching. The guy who attended US explained how they worked to create a positive international atmosphere and showed us all the facilities. It was in 2016 and I can still feel the positive energy they transmitted. I hope to continue in the same direction.

Great location in the center of the city. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Also the food they cooked for dinner every night was incredible, even by restaurant standards and for an unbeatable price.

Great hostel, lovely staff. The rooms are clean and the lockers are huge. There is coffee and tea in the common area. The staff organizes dinners and pub crawls. A free walking tour gathers daily in the morning.

Location was good. Very Central spot. Staff was nice. Not a fan of the lockers in the rooms. If you're on the top bunk, you have to disturb the person on the bottom bunk of you wanna get something.

Great hostel. They have nice common areas as well as a terrace. Rooms are good sizes compared with most hostels. They give you a wristband as a key so it's tough to lose or forget. Would stay again.

Extremely friendly people working here. Very clean. Super close to the metro. It was a great stay! Highly recommend for something less expensive as well.

I loved this place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure we have a great experience in Barcelona. Met couple of good people here. This place has a true hostel vibe. It is at walking distance from most of the tourist attractions in Barcelona. They also serve breakfast and dinner for some fees, have luggage room in case you need.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The rooms were nice. The cleaners are sharp and don't miss a thing. And the staff were a pleasure to be around. So helpful with absolutely everything and anything I asked about. From where I could park for free to which is the best tattoo parlour in town, I was always given sound advice. Massive shout out to João de Brit for being cool and super helpful. And another one to Joana, so lovely and kind to talk to and super helpful too (thanks for going out of your way to find a tattoo parlour for my friend, she loves you for it).
The food was great too, I recommend signing up for in house meals! Compliments to the chef!
All in all, great building, great rooms, great facilities and the best staff in town!

Two toilets per sex per floor, very expensive, small terrace and no breakfast included. I found this hostel incredibly disappointing and I am stunned by the positive feedbacks. Big rooms with many people too. Wouldn't recommend.

Loved our stay here. Easy going and providing all the services you could want. Our room was always full with lots of people coming in and out, but all the guests were unbelievably friendly and that's partly down to the atmosphere at the hostel.

My friend and I stayed here during the last day of our Eurotrip. The lady at the front desk was especially kind and knowledgeable, giving us a guided "tour" to our room, explaining the amenities and offered us tips on what to do as well as going through a map with us. We ended up having the worst experience ever as we were out and about the town in the market and we had our bag stolen with all of our money, IDs, and brand new bottle of Vodka (grr). When we made it back to the hostel, the staff was very supportive, giving us info on how to exchange what little American money we had left to Euros (which took us 3 hours because of the Spanish Holiday), then when we returned, we were able to use the kitchen with the help of the cook, Enrique, and assisted him in washing dishes in exchange for some excellent witty banter. The hostel was clean, offered free breakfast, comfy beds, sign up dinner for additional Euros, two entrances, live music for the guests and scheduled activities on a posted whiteboard. The location was excellent (25 minute walk from 3 currency exchanges, just in case you need that), and the only negative was that they posted that they did not allow alcohol consumption after 11pm, but we stayed in our room and drank anyways after the night we had and had no issues. We will not likely be visiting Barcelona again based on the high rate of theft, BUT if we do, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you to the staff for a great hostel stay!

First time in Barcelona and I ended up staying on La Rambla in a real crappy hostel. Fortunately, had to switch hostels due to availability and the Mediterranean Youth Hostel. Great from the start. Fantastic service from the staff, lively common room, free tea and coffee 24/7. Lovely place and will book again when I come back. You can pay for a cheap dinner in the evening if you want. Free guided tour, and pub crawl available nightly.

This was one of my best hostel experiences over 4 months backpacking Europe, great central location, staff were all excellent and friendly, pub crawls every night staff and friends join in on the fun some nights and best of all was the dinners with Kike hands down best deal for some of the most authentic and amazing local cuisine!

This was the second occasion that I stayed at the hostel — again I found the accommodation clean, tidy and welcoming. Importantly for me it also felt safe and relaxed. The hostel was full of diversity: age, race and languages all mingling together in a friendly environment.
The icing on the cake is the staff team — not one dull face! A group of happy, bubbly individuals who did all they could to support and make your stay (in both hostel and Barcelona) as great as possible.

No box in the room. No storage space in the bathroom. The only plus point is the location! For 120 euros the night I expect clearly more me!

Great hostel, really friendly atmosphere.

Very good and helpfull staff. Fine beds, lockers and the option to rent a bike. Also very nice they organize a daily dinner in the aula downstairs, with each day diffrent foods and for a cheap prize. The neigherbood is very nice and safe. Most of them locals/workers I guess. Sagrada Familia is easy to go on foot. The rest of the hotspots I would recommend to visit by transport.

This is the best place to stay in Barcelona. Not just for the lone backpacker, this place welcomes all. My wife and I stay there for 3 nights in both dorm style and a private room both being well maintained. The real gem of the place is the staff. They are friendly, helpful and go out of thier way to make sure your stay at the hostel is perfect. Juan, one of the staff there, even gave us tips and tricks for our further journeys to Morocco and Portugal and then detailed It in an email to me. The location is great as well with a quick walk to major sights and shopping. In addition, there is a dinner each night for just 6 € followed by a organized pub crawl. The dinners are so good and you can't beat the price. This should be your first choice when visiting Barcelona as you will not find better service at or above their price point.

The staff here was super friendly. They provided lots of information about things to do, tours, bars, etc. The rooms were pretty standard and clean. Very close to the Girona Metro station.

Everything perfect. The staff is great help you in everything and get thousand recommendations. Very clean and very comfortable single room. This very well located and good price.

Good atmosphere. He tried the workers are very friendly and close. We organize events every night. Free breakfast (coffee, milk, tea infusions). Old building to find him some stick but well maintained.

Location was greay. Walkable to most of the attractions, but the metro is right there so that you don't have to. Rooms are good, service is great. The atmosphere they have is really friendly, and it's so easy to meet and talk to people.

The privates rooms were really good, confortable, clean and charming! The staff was also nice and ready to help.

Great youth hostel for the young. I loved it.

I stayed here for three nights while traveling around Europe, per a recommendation from a friend. It's well worth it. It's conveniently located a block from the metro station and no more than a mile from the famous Sagrada Familia, as well as other café's and quaint little restaurants. The rooms are a flashback to freshmen year dorms, if not smaller. The lockers they give you to store your stuff in only require a quarter, which you get back — that is really nice. The restrooms are clean, the hangout/internet/TV rooms comfy (though the computers are a tad outdated), and the front staff nice and proficient, if not fluent, in English. They have people there cooking meals, usually from their home country, which you can eat for a few Euros — really a good deal! They often act as local nightlife guides as well; my second night there, some friends and I got access to two bars and a nightclub for eight euros, with drinks at each — quite a steal! No overall complaints; about as nice as I'd expect from a youth hostel.

+ the location is good. Subway Girona can be reached in 1min, the Ramblas in 15 — 9 days were our towels changed not once, only the old lifted from the ground and suspended, sheets. As — shower holder broken — a total somewhat unsanitary — it is very loud! The walls are very thin and you can hear everything happening in the House, outside our window was a schoolyard, so it was also very noisy — we were unlucky with the weather and it was very cold, unfortunately there was no heating — Wi-Fi didn't work even for 2 days.

It's not the most luxurious hostel around but the communal spaces are really nice, great bathroom facilities, free internet and the reception staff and owner are the best you can find anywhere. I stayed in the hostel for a week when I moved to Barcelona and was looking for somewhere to live and they couldn't have been more helpful. Love it.

I got bed bug bites really bad. We found the bugs and gave them to the front desk. They ¨claimed¨ they would give us a refund if we emailed them in a couple days about the problem. I have huge bites all over my body, had to sleep on the floor the next night because they didn´t have another room to give me and didn´t have money from the refund to go to a different hostel.

Such a great place that I recommend! Everything was clean and very well organized! What's more it's very close to the center, so that you can go everywhere walking. I've met so many people, especially the very adorable staff! They've helped me and told me the most beautiful and funny places. To put it in the nutshell, I had a great time in this hostel and I will come back for sure. Thank you very much.
