EN — Good hostel, good location. But the attendants were unfriendly. During my stay, I had problems with guests inconvenience, I reported the reception, but they did not take action. Great place with friendly staff. Everything was always clean and my roommates were up to good standards, shared bathrooms are not a problem since they have all amenities needed to be safe and comfy.

The attention of your staff made me feel at home. The cleanliness and order and above all very cheerful environment.

As far as hostels go, this is one of the cleanest Ive had. Sure the matresses are thin and the Wi-Fi upstairs isnt too good, but there are plenty of towels, every bed comes with a locker (big enough for a good size backpack) and theres airco in the bedrooms. I stayed in an 8 person room, which had 2 showers, toilets and sinks, which was plenty. Everything looked well looked after and the tiny kitchen downstairs seems perfect for when you dont want to eat out.

I was there for 3 nights. I really appreciated.
Everything was clean, nice and helpful staff.
It's also a wonderfull place to meet new people from all over the world.

Clean and comfortable, and in a good location in Barcelona. Nearby several affordable and delicious tapas bars. Stayed in a double bedroom with a shared bathroom, the bedroom had an air conditioning unit which was a life saver in the Spanish summer heat! Staff was very helpful and attentive. Free breakfast of toast with jam, butter, ham, or cheese, or cereal. Coffee and orange juice also provided. Over all, a very comfortable hostal in a nice and not too touristy part of Barcelona.

Great staff, super friendly and attentive. Held our bags and were responsive and patient with al of our questions. Room and bathroom was clean, location was perfect.

Staff are nice and will clean a minimum of 2 times a day so the hostel is clean. Location is close to supermarkets, bars and restaurants also close to a train station and La Rambla street. Breakfast is less than average Beds are comfy but theres is nowhere to hang jackets, towels in the room also there are no chairs to sit in the room.

I was a year ago and I pass review, the attention is not bad, but no rules of coexistence are respected.
In the room we had a Filipino who looked like she lived there and during the evenings she kept doing odd things.

I do not know what to write … The hostel is actually not as in the pictures so do not rely on what's on the internet. It's quite different … The rooms are very small space and the bathrooms are outside the rooms and the kitchen accommodates only two people no more. The location is quite good and there is also a bath towel for everyone. I give the assessment only to the person who works at the reception because he is really a wonderful and sincere in his work. Good value for money.

First experience with a hostel. Not bad as a place, nice staff, clean rooms. Unfortunately there is not much room in the locker to rest the suitcase and there is not a safe. The location is good and it is near a metro stop and behind there are bars where you go to get something.

I've been in almost 50 hostels and this one was the cleanest one in all I've been. Everything was everyday constantly clean. The staff very helpful and friendly, polite and professional. There is a lot of bathrooms and showers, and the location it's near a big street of bar/tapas, restaurant and 3 minutes from the metro station. If I come back to Barcelona I will be back there. Thanks to the staff.

I booked 2 nights to stay at mambo tango, and decided on it because of its apparent good reviews. However, I was greeted by less then friendly staff member (which isnt always a reflection on the hostel), but more importantly a blood stained, dirty bed. During the night I believe I was bitten continually by bed bugs and was forced to leave a day early. I do not reccomend at all. Location is good and breakfast was as expected. But I just couldn't stay there with the level of cleanliness. It may have been a one off and I'm fully aware of this. But, if you only go to a hostel to sleep and you can't even do that. You have a problem. Also, in regards to the staff member. Only one out of the two I met seemed very bored and disinterested in their job. The other was very nice and chatty.

Terrible place! The rooms are like cameras in prison, the doors close to the room are metallic, and they are very cold, damp and dark! There is not even a single night bed at the beds! There is no Wi-Fi in the room with a closed door… When you come to the hostel, you find yourself in a cold dark cave! Very noisy! It's impossible to sleep! A few nights without sleep in this nightmarish place are provided, if of course you are a mazhiist!

Great location. Literally a block away from the metro line that can take you to all the hot spots with barely any switches. Great restaurants close by. Would like more options for breakfast but that’s not a make it or break it for me. Also, gets a little loud in there because everything echos so if you’re a light sleeper just know that people come in and out and are also up early talking.

The location, attention and everything you could ask in a hostel to spend with friends and get to know Barcelona. The price is good for the breakfast included, and the attention of the staff.

I could improve the Wi-Fi signal. The rooms of 8 are very small, should not leave two people sleep in the same bed.

My experience at MAMBO was really bad, I was in a single room with no windows and no ventilation, rather than a Hostal room, my room was a side-apartment building where they took me from the main building (I wonder if I was covered by the Hostal insurance…). There was a lot of noise during the evening from the crappy bar downstairs. It's only for very young people who don't have much money or don't care about sleeping at night and tidiness, if that's not your case, clearly chose somewhere else.

Really friendly stuff and clean bathroom and clean towels! And place is just perfect for walk city :) nothing complain.

The guy who works the front desk during the day was super nice and helpful. Absolutely made it a great experience staying here with my 7 year old son.

Pretty clean and some staff were very nice. That said there were various set-backs keeping it from a 5-star experience. When I arrived the towel they gave me was wet. The upscale dorm room with TV was comfortable, but the ladder to the bed were too high and the TV didnt work. I asked the staff and they made no effort to help other than replace some remotes. Its location is a bit removed as well, but if youre on a budget this is certainly cleaner than the alternatives. Breakfast was better than expected and the unlimited orange juice and coffee was much appreciated.

Triple bedroom was cramped, almost no place to open luggage. Shower and toilet were outside bedroom, shared with other guests. This hostel was clean. Receptionist was helpful and fluent in English. Exit Fontrodona from Paral-lel Metro station is the nearest exit to Mambo Tango hostel.

We won a bottle of champagne and the dorms have air conditioner! Only the breakfast is unfortunately not that good… the location is great and the staff are super!

A fantastic place which I really loved! The people working at Mambo Tango, as well as the other travelers, were so kind and helpful and we had such a good time together! The place was easy to find, it was close to many interesting places, the place was clean and cozy and I really "felt at home" there. This will definitely be my first choice for accommodation also in the future. Thank you for everything!

Wi-Fi was down for the first couple of days and we didn't hear anything about it from staff. They are all very very nice and helpful though otherwise. The accomodations are nice, the bed is reasonably comfortable and the atmosphere is really nice. Free breakfast is just bread and cereal, but that's the most I've seen here in Europe anyway. All in all I would highly recommend. Great location too.

It was just as good as you could aspect for the price. Very nice personal in the reception. Free fruit. Clean. Perfect placement, very central.
And I slept fantastic all 3 nights of my stay, even though it was a room with 8 beds. People was very respectful.
I can really recommend it, especially if you are young and just want to travel cheap.

The beds were terrible, very noise and the mattress were very bad for anyone's back. The staff were nice.

Over all its a pretty good hostel, pretty good area and clean place. Wifi was honestly quite bad a lot of the time though which was inconvenient.
