Round the corner. Just like our previous hostel the humidity was high. Luckily they gave us a big ventilator, thin blanket and earplugs against noise. Because of that we still had a good night rest. The place was amazing. The rooms were clean and cosy and the host amazing. Our host greeted us and gave us a tour through the whole hostel. The reception was open from 11:00-14:00 but we could call or text her anytime if we had a problem or needed advice in the hostel or Barcelona. The location is very central, the main shopping centre is a 10 Min walk, and arc de triomf and station just around the corner. Just like our previous hostel the humidity was high. The location is very good as it was close to the center and is very accessible in terms of public transport. The service is ideal, because the employee who attended us greeted us with a smile, was very friendly, sociable and explained everything correctly and with all the luxury of details. The room exceeded my and my partner's expectations, everything very clean, the cleaner was met and friendly. At least in our room came the air from the balcony, which even if it is small can be used to smoke a cigar or lay towels to dry, there is a fan with various ways and ways to get some air. Overall it has been a very good experience.

Amazing location, amazing hostel, rooms fantastic, staff were so great, even sitting me down to explain the city and the public transport etc. Only stayed one night but absolutely blew my expectations away for a hostel!

Were two recently late April 2018 there, super satisfied, super price, nice little cute hostel right on the Arc de TRIOMF (and 10 min. From the bus station, interesting for Ryanair guests), highly recommended for late arrivals, clean rooms, comfortable beds, recently apparently refurbished, quiet room (Edith Piaf;-) ), every corner was still lovingly decorated and there was attention everywhere for the guests (Sweets, biscuits and muffins, tea and soluble coffee (the basic accommodation is without breakfast…) ). Shared bathroom could be used super, the other guests I have barely seen. The shower spray could have been exchanged once, but otherwise no complaint. La Sagrada Familia within walking distance, on the way there breakfast facilities at a small price. What more could you want, it was an all-round successful short trip to Barcelona and the hostel had a decisive part in it. The nearby chocolate Museum can be saved, however;) I would certainly book La Isla Hostal again at any time and recommend it to my friends. For those who don't need luxury or long breakfast buffets, this is the place to be. Metro station also just around the corner.

Reasonable price… nice rooms and clean enough, as TT these places there is the inconvenience of the bathroom outside the room and in common X three or four rooms!

Nice cosy room and the staff were very accommodating with us arriving late.

My mother and her friend were staying in this hostel for some days. So review is from there words. They could not make check in directly when they came with luggage. It was paper hanging out near entrance with a description that they will come just in 5! hours. This was really not comfortable. Hostel has many floors and every room has a title of some city, like Rome, Paris. Rooms are big, pillows and bad is good. It was nice view on arc de Triumph. Minuses is that everything is old. But main thing that from 5 days, it was no hot water in 3 of them. They were not able to take shower.

Well located and cozy. Recommended.

Nickel Situation If you come with Yes bus from bus station. Hopefully your neighbors don't talk all night because the walls are paper…

For the price of the room, does not deserve more than a 1. It is a place suitable for backpackers or low budgets, it is not acceptable to pay 75 euros for a place as well. It can hear absolutely everything, the room shakes every 3 minutes the passage of underground basin inside the room… In the end. That Yes, the girl in Nice and the location is not bad because it is 10 min from el Born.

Very neat, centrally located and has rooms themed with divas. Good price/quality ratio.

Clean room and friendly staff. Free use of jam and neutella, some snacks and cookies, electric kettle and refrigerator. Was given a room on a high third floor. Room faced noisy residental backstreet so I enjoyed a back door look and sound of the Barcelona culture. Cheaply priced so would stay again.

I came with my 4 year old son; he loved it we got the Rome room and the spectacular view; the location is perfect if you like to walk you know everything on foot.

We were welcomed by the owners very nicely, they offered us a map of the city and explained us what to visit, where to go. The room was very clean and cosy, our pilows were a bit flat though but we asked for extra pillows that they brought us right away. There is coffee and tea. Also the litlle terrace is nice to read a book or for the smoker. Room is cleaned every day which is a nice touch. The room was on the street side so this is Barcelona and obviously a bit noisy but with earplugs we could sleep with no problem. Just street noise no bar or night club. The hostal is very well situated nearby metro and center. There are many nice tapas bar and bakery around. Ideal.
