Very good beds lots of cleanliness and excellent family atmosphere.

I was robbed. I went to party and get tired to sleep, while resting someone from the staff entered the room and took my bag with all my belongings, including my money, identity card, everything important I had, I put the complaint in the police, are some Thieves, I don't recommend it at all. I Hope to read this review and not go to that place. I Know it was someone from the staff or the owner because locked the door with key and the person who entered my room had obviously a key too.

Super place to stay over one or two nights for travelers, save, clean, cheap, in the center, near metro, friendly employees.

Would give zero stars if I could they attempted to steal from us to the tune of ~€600 charged a card for hostel booking as well as asking for cash upfront, then charged €33 on the way out for the pleasure of being charged. Failed to mention curfee then got shirty with us when we broke it, one if the members of staff got angry with us for takibg an early shower because we had a train at 6AM.

Good hostel to stay in this great city of Barcelona. Reception 24/24 which is very useful if come very late at night.

Worst place! Bed was not clean and full of dust (you will be itching your body all night on those beds), very small bathrooms, even a average body size person can't fit in those small bathrooms, lockers are broken and useless. Its worthless for the price if we compared to other hostels near by. (Won't recommend to any of my friends)

Staff was friendly and the hostel was fairly clean. It is close to the train station, metro stop and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. However, I barely slept for two nights because the room was so hot and stuffy. The windows were tiny and up high, and there was no air circulation whatsoever, even when I opened the door to the hallway. This was not just because of the weather in Barcelona, as the lobby, basement, and outside were quite comfortable. Moreover, the only bathroom on the second floor is smaller than an airplane bathroom and the door opens inwards, making it impossible to get out without squeezing against the toilet and doing a little shimmy. The water in that bathroom was sometimes normal and sometimes scalding hot. The showers are in the basement, along with laundry (although €8 to wash and dry one load is pretty expensive…) The free lockers in the room were big enough to fit a 70liter backpack. All in all, this place might be okay in the winter, but I would not recommend it in the summertime.

Very hospitable staff. Clean and safe. Washer and Dryer onsite came in handy! Reliable Wifi! I will stay here again.

It is a great hostel for its location and comfort both for your attention in the face of the customer. Is very cosy with rooms and bathrooms very comfortable and with all the services. The staff is excellent, from Jordi and Manoli reception personnel until clean Naima, worth their stay and the price is quite reasonable. I especially like that it has free Wi-Fi for guests and is open 24 hours. The breakfast is very varied and full, I was very happy and satisfied with my stay in Hostelscat, I recommend it due to its proximity to the major train station of Barcelona and ease of transport to all the tourist sites of the city. Congratulations to team Hostelscat.
