Very good location, friendly staff, all will tell and explain how and where to get there. Recommend.

Staff: friendly and helpful Location: a few minute walk to the metro station and bus stops, near the restaurants and stores Hotel: not the best, just ok. Keep in mind that this is actually a hostel, not really a hotel. So the facilities are provided on that premise. Our room's toilet vent fan was not working and since there's no window at the toilet, the whole room stinks when one is in the loo. Overall ok, but there may be other better ones.

The rooms are all very neat and clean. The staff are very friendly and super helpful with tips of the best things to see and how to get around. It is also very central with a lot of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Love this place.

Very clean as a hostel, I slept in a single room with the shared bathroom and I found it very well. Very friendly and professional staff.

Basic facilities but very clean… for the price and the top location very good. Restaurants, breakfast bars and grocery stores just a few steps away. Good metro connection.

The price was ok, but you get what you pay for. Anyway, I was surprised there was no proper window, everything very tight. Internet worked flawlessly. Not for anyone who minds climbing stairs since rooms are on what is called the 4th floor when I kept counting 5 and the elevator is not reliable. Room service came every day with new towels.

To spend one more night.

In rooms fly very bad.

Not bad, a far from the center, but a few blocks from the Holy Family. The room was clean and not very small, the only bad thing about the bathroom was a strong smell of the dirty pipe, so I had to sleep with the air conditioner.

Clean Place. Even the shared bathroom was kept clean. Helpful staff. Single rooms are small, just as advertised on the website, but it is great value for money. Central location, near Sagrada Familia, Passeig de Gracia, theatres, bars and shops. Nice dining room with fridge for guests use. Quaint old building and lift.

Very cozy clean and Caretterisco.

The place seemed clean… but we couldn’t stop sneezing and itching, specially when we turned the air conditioner on. The room was really loud, we could hear everything happening in the hallways and it was also very small with everything old. The lady in the reception was nice at first but she wasn’t very happy when I tried to tell her about the dusty room. I don’t think that the price was worth for what we got… but everyone here seems so happy and I’m not sure why. I would try to avoid this place. They have another hotel that seemed better but I can’t confirm it…

The hostel is very close to la sagrada familia, it's quite and clean. It's also close to verdaguer metro stop (line yellow). A good place if you're looking for a cheap accommodation in the centre of the city.

Staff person is very careful, the rooms are confortable and clean.

We stayed in this hotel in the triple room with my two teen boys. The room was excellent. The beds were comfortable, the room was big and very clean. The view from the balcony was amazing. The receptionists were incredibly helpful and polite — can't thank them enough they were so wonderful! They even allowed us to leave our luggage with them after we had checked out. Metro station opposite the hotel with links to all the city. Great stay for the price, highly recommend for all ages. Sara Tecle.

This is a great place to live. I was here with my friends for four days. It's location is very central with almost everything at walking distance. The hostel is very clean and the staff is very helpful, especially Alvin Boscu. He is the guy who made our stay even better. I will definitely choose Felipe 2 whenever I visit Barcelona again.

Hostel reception staff were 2 very friendly and helpful girls, always on hand to deal with any requests. I personally stayed in a double bedroom with private bathroom and found it an absolute bargain! Lovely and clean. It was also cleaned every day as well by staff when I was out. The internet connection was better than most hotels I'd experienced in the city and so was the price!

Nice, comfortable and clean. Convenient both arriving by bus and by plane since the Metro is close.

Was there in June of 2016, not bad. Small yes, but good price and location. If you just need to a place to crash, use the toilet and shower its not a bad deal. Would stay here again.

Simple, but very good for the price. Centrally located, the Metro is almost opposite.

Positive: Location, elevator (it's work but kinda old), a staff from Romania was really attentive and helped us a lot. Also they provide hot water so I could have my instant noodles. Negative: The air condition was super DIRTY, warning to those who are allergic to dust, at the first day I've told to the reception that the air condition was really dirty and I couldn't even sleep for a while during the night time. I don't know if they've cleaned it or not, but I think no. My nose running every night and it's the most terrible experience in Barcelona.

Very clean and good ratio quality/price. Well situated. The perfect place if you spend all the time walking around an you want a good bed and shower.

The hostel is very modest but correct and clean and the staff nice but the hostal did not know how to react to an incident with a breakdown in the water which prevented showers and the use of water (hot and cold) from before 8 in the morning up to more than 10. No alternatives offered or are offered to the clients in any form for the inconvenience caused, even upon request.

Great hostal! Location is great and staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I did not like is that the AC only works for like 5 minutes, I understand that is an expense for the hostal but during the summer is necessary to have the AC working. But in general very good place, I would stay there again for sure!

Actually liked this hostel a lot. Rooms are small but cozy and good value for money. Super clean bathrooms and great location, which we loved.

It is a great hostel to spend a few days in Barcelona. Really great location near to the main street Diagonal and to Sagrada Familia no so far away to the center and very good transpot comunications. ¡Very clean, comfortable and cozy you'll feel like home.

Nice hostel, with a good refrigerator in rooms and bathrooms large enough, at least the two rooms I saw. Prices rather high if it coincides with a Grand Prix of formula 1, on other dates quite affordable. This very close to the Sagrada Familia. The correct room service and very good treatment from the reception.

Only goos thing is the location. We arrived at night and receptionist was about to leave so if we went 5 mins later no one would be there to give us keys for rooms. Also, we booked a three bedroom room and on arrival they just said they gave us a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom one.

They did not clean the room for 3 days! First day I asked, they said they CLEAN the room ONE time for 2 days, but the second day, they still not clean the room, when I asked them to clean, they did it so late and I have to pls them to do, but they only moved the "pourbelle" out. They moved our baggages to another room without letting us know, when we were back, we were surprised! People are not nice. Wi-fi doest not work sometimes. I do not recommend.
