BARCELONA GOTIC Guesthouse Hotel

The most unusual hotel I have been to. The only caveat-on each floor shared toilet and shower cubicle. Breakfast is available at an additional cost. My wife and I were satisfied.

Was really impressed with the location of the Hostel, it is situated right in the heart of the Gothic Quarter and five minutes away from Las Ramblas. The reception was open 24x7 and the staff was super welcoming and warm! Was my first time at an hostel, want to do it again!

Rooms were fine, but incredibly insecure. You can't keep your key and they could give it to anyone who walks in and asks—they do no verification of who you are. It's unacceptable that I can't even ensure the safety of my own belongings in my own room.

If we don't give the old rooms as to us it can be a good place and close to the Ramblas.

We had a good stay at the hotel. This one is very well placed and the reception is very good. Unfortunately the room was located 2 meters from the front desk. So we were woken up very often in the two nights on site.

The site is very well, the attention is also very attentive and 24h, we request a shared bathroom and we got the private bathroom and a bed more, I come back.

Little quality for so much money. It was light at 21h and wine in the morning, the hostel is not said or mu. The receptionist who greeted us on arrival was the king of the sympathy and quickly, come on, a bland with face of few friends, it seemed like he was doing you a favor, when it's the opposite. By the evening, some of the French did not stop making noise until we had to call the attention. There is no TV and the bathroom is shared, it would have to reduce price, if not toenes quality you can't have high prices. I don't recommend it.

Excellent the treatment. The place is very cute and clean. This well-located. What come back to choose if I go back to Barcelona. I highly recommend it. Quality price very good.

First of all you should be aware that you have chosen this place. The value for money is at the same level as you paid for it. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I liked it. The small rooms were good enough for me although hostels would have been cheaper. Rooms and bathrooms were clean as well. Don’t expect too much and you should be good.

The center of the Gothic Quarter. Near the supermarket. Rambla. Barceloneta. We walk everywhere. The room is cleaned daily. Booked with a shared bathroom given with a personal, clean bath tub, there is a soap gel hair dryer. The room was small. No Conder only fan on the ceiling, the window overlooks the opposite window of the house, well the Gothic quarter, all the streets are narrow. There is a smell of old house in the room and there is no kitchen, to cook itself that it will not work except for buters, coffee to buy or in a vending machine at reception or from 8-11 Breakfast: coffee and a croissant for 3 euro.

Nice place in center of the city and we got separate bathroom ;) just te ringbell is noisy at night like the receptionist.

In the heart of the city. The bed is very eat and it is super clean. The Service of the hostel staff Spectacular.

Advantage it is not expensive for the city center, pity it is noisy, and breakfast is nothing fancy.

Good hostel if you're going to spend a couple of days in Barcelona and you don't have much budget. The rooms are clean and modern as are the shared bathrooms. The quality of sleep is measured in a special room 112 because the window can not be closed completely. 24-hour front desk.

We stayed at a private room with a double bed and a shower. The toilet is outside of the room. There is no elevator in the building and very narrow stairs up 2 floors in order to get to the room, so if you have a lot of luggage I recommend not staying here. The rooms are clean, and they include housekeeping. The staff is a bit older than what I am used to in hostels (around 50-60 yr), but they are friendly. It was incredibly cheap, so it was great for what we paid.

Very good quality-price ratio. It is simple but cosy, young and international atmosphere. The best, the low price and unbeatable location! The receptionists were friendly :)

Staff unpleasant and rude, we didn't even pass the reception, because for a problem our room was cancelled, and the response from the goalkeeper to find you and ask please that we will look at it if they had a room free, it was "Look at it your same in booking"… directly we decided to leave from there. Nothing recommended!

Simple but modern communal area. Rooms partly new, some pretty ^ rustic ^. Very nice staff and the location is of course top.

Good facilities and friendly staff. But regular cleaning (saw a cockroach), and our room too noisy (next to the elevator). Not worth what we paid.

Great location in Barri Gòtic, just off La Rambla (metro stop Dessanes) but a bit of a hike to the beach. Bright, clean room. Effective use of (somewhat cramped) space. Did not expect the cheesy wall decals (butterflies, quotes in whispy cursive) and found them a bit off-putting. Also found it odd that if you didn't ask for your room to be cleaned, they wouldn't come by to tidy it up. (One of the only perks of a hotel vs. AirBnB, no? )

HESPERIA METROPOL 3 STAR
so I summarize here my remarks for this time
no particular comment isn't the cramped nature of my mini to mini as a corridor or version 2 room people may intersect.
I learned that HESPERIA METROPOL 3 STAR EAST BECAME
HESPERIA BARRi GOTIC 4 STARS simply because it is located in the District of the same name.

Room was small and awkward, walls were dirty, AC didn't work, and on top of all that it was expensive. I do not recommend.

Pure recommendation. Wonderful staff so nice! I can recommend the small breakfast. For the location fair price.
