The staff were kind and helpful. They changed our room to a much better one with a good price!

Been there for 3 days, water in the shower wasn't warm enough, Wi-Fi hanged every 3 minutes and breakfast was a disappointment, staff didn't care. Consider going somewhere else.

The staff at Ella were lovely and very helpful and the place was clean, but unfortunately the room we stayed in was awful. It was so small we had no room for our suitcases. The bathroom was tiny with no shelves or hook to hang your towel. The toilet made a groaning noise all night. No window to outside so no natural light — made me feel like I was in a prison cell. The bed was terrible — very hard. Considering we paid €120 I was in shock how appalling it was. We ended up leaving a day early and losing the money. We've come back to Barcelona for the last day of our holiday and stayed at a cheaper place which is 100 times better than Ella and in a better location. Don't be fouled by the pictures on the site — the rooms certainly do not warrant the cost.

Super Hostel,
Very centrally, nice contact.
Very clean (also shared bathrooms), newly furnished, nice guests.
Small drawback: the rooms with private bathroom borders through simple door directly to the lounge and the window front is directly to the communal terrace (continuous curtains too).

Good if you are travelling alone or as a couple and need a well located place to spend the night. Does not provided a lot of amenities, but it does well what is set to do. Give a private place to spend the night in a clean and secure place.

Went here with a friend and our kids. The employees were really nice and helpful. I would probably not recommend this place due to "European breakfast" (dry bread and jam is not what I consider breakfast) and to the lousy bunk beds where I could feel every spring (and I'm lightweight). Also, when I turned off the electric smelly thing another odor took its place — not pleasant. However, on a small budget, I wouldn't hesitate to go here again. The terrace is awesome and everything's clean.

Good price, central location, cozy hostel, nice staff!

Great location, quiet, quiet hostel. Clean bathrooms. Very friendly and friendly staff who mailed all the instructions in advance and answered all questions. The breakfast was excellent. The soft and comfortable mattress was a great regenerative tool after a day's walking. Walking distance to many attractions. Close to Metro. Very convenient to the airport. Buy T10 and the fare from the airport will be 1 euro (one ticket we used for two). A 12-minute walk will take you to the trains Passeig de Gracia station (Passeig de Gràcia), go down to the 1st Perona and get to the airport with a direct train, a 40-minute drive from the airport. + to everything, breakfasts, tea and coffee at any time, great Wi-Fi, left things after eviction and after walking US treated tea on the track.

Nice place with good price and cozy atmosphere. The girl at the reception was super nice to us even despite late check-in.

Very friendly staff. They have been waiting for us for over an hour after the official check in.
Pretty rooms, especially top cleanliness.
Small and large towels included at room rate.
Very nice large and quiet terrace.
On the negative side is that our room is located directly on a very busy road, correspondingly noisy.
Breakfast leaves something to be desired. But it is good that you have free coffee/tea throughout and always milk in the refrigerator:

Excellent staff, very friendly, spacious rooms, excellent location. Comfortable terrace and living room. By the negative only that did not have bath of the room however did not have to wait to use the bath or shower. Missing SOAP and other kits.

Decent hotel, price spotless, very clean and staff nice, location not far from Catalunya square, I recommend this hotel for people who does not seek too amenities and privacy.

Clean, comfortable, friendly, with a lovely and shaded deck to rest your weary feet between day and nite in Barcelona. A short walk to most places you'll want to visit and a metro stop just blocks away. The best place (excluding the castle I lived in for a month in Italy) I stayed this summer. Very mixed crowed from backpackers to two elderly British ladies on holiday. Laid back and quiet. Couldn't imagine why I would want to stay anywhere else when I get back to Barcelona.
