Arc House Gracia Hostel

Just your standard hostel. Breakfast was rather lacking not many options (but was free). Rooms were quiet nice despite not having any aircon (so got very warm). Staff were lovely and friendly. Lounge area was nice with both bean bags and sofas to relax on. Pretty much just your big standard hostel.

Small and cramped, but reasonably clean rooms. Large communal TV and lounge area in the cellar. And a mediocre hostel kitchen. Coffee for you to make yourself, but no tea. Shower on ground floor is a mess to use, will wet the floor of the whole bathroom. Upper floor is better. If there is no cold water, then check if somebody has turned it off on the valve in the ladies' shower (the knob is easily mistaken for being supposed to regulate the shower with). Staff is friendly, but not present at the reception always. Towels cost extra. Also, bring a padlock for the under bed drawer. The reception may lend you a padlock if they have some, they didn't. I stayed in a four bed room on the ground floor. Two Ikea bunk beds, room is 3 x 2.5 m, and one small coffee table, no chairs. There is a window but no aircondition. Staying alone in the room at not-too-hot summer temperatures was fine, but I can imagine it would feel very cramped with full occupancy during hottest summer. I also saw one double room on the upper floor with windows to two sides (corner room). It's a nice basic room, however the price is similar to a cheap hotel. They could easily upgrade the small misses if they wanted: longer shower curtain, better mops in showers, better ventilation, a few spices and some tea in the kitchen. Better bathrooms would also be nice, but is an investment. The clearly put more attention in the lounge area in the cellar than in bathrooms, thus they'll show you photos of the lounge.

From the rooms of the main floor you can hear absolutely everything. The receptionists live arguing, especially in the early morning when the guests try to rest. The rooms are small and cold, as even in winter they do not turn on the heating. The showers are for time like the taps of the public baths, last an average of 7/8 seconds each time you open it. Breakfast is not of quality but right for the price. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, they usually just go over and make the check out beds but not from the rest of the people.

The included breakfast is good for the price. The beds are nice. No one pays any attention to quiet hours, so bear that in mind. Also, laundry is expensive here.

People who automatically think you are rich because you speak english and one young man there will hate you for speaking english! sees it as a sign of being a war mongerer when I cant help what my first language is! someone got me some weed there and I got ill! and a guest told me he infected me with a virus as he had HIV by an accidental needle when he took drugs and I could not afford to keep him supplied with weed! I was ill for days! I never got my deposit back and it says "tourists go home! " on the wall outside the place! angry jealous stupid young people mostly with one or two nice people i. E Morgana was very helpful and nice and Diana the cleaner was also nice.

Hot as hell. Electricity was shutted down. Whole building boiled.

Facilities were well maintained and clean, staff were excellent. I stayed in a dorm that felt a bit crowded being almost full. However, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was fairly varried generous.

The girl at the front desk is a genius. Good relationship between quality and price. Would go again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was Quee booked a room near the reception and could hear all night the noise from outside as well as the people arriving or leaving the hostel.

We had a fab stay nothing was any trouble. It was a nice area, lovely atmosphere friendly people. The breakfast was lovely and the choice was good.

This is a nice place to stay and the neighborhood is really nice too. The staff is friendly and there's free breakfast! Good Wi-Fi.

Very good value for money! Well located and warm. Excellent If you want to sleep in Barcelona for a low price! There is however a bit of mold in the bathrooms.

They ask for a deposit of 10 euros for a key card and if you leave early there is no one at the front desk to return the money. They also charge for the towels. There are few showers and the bathrooms are small. You need to bring your own locker to use the lockers. The beds are not too comfortable.
The best is its location and its price, but its low price has a motive.

Very good hostel if you want to visit Barcelona because it is in an optimal position to exit towards Passeig de Gracia. All close by.

Happy I chose Gràcia City Hostel! The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. They have breakfast and dinner as well as fun night activities. Located off a main street this hostel is also good for a quiet night's rest. Thanks to everyone for a fun time!

Place is just within reach of major tourist spot in the city. Good options for backpackers who are in a tight budget. Free breakfast.

Great hostel in the centre of Barcelona, clean and functional for those who are little in the room and runs the city all day and most of the night.

I was for 2 days, helpfully and nicely staff, it was juste fantastic.

Simply the best hostel in Gracia and Barcelona!

The walls are thin so at night you can hear everything that is going on. The common area is below ground which kind of sucks as there is very little room in the lobby to just relax for a bit. A plus is that the lockers are spacious though a lock costs 5 euro.

Cute Hostel. Everything clean and tidy. Well located to explore the center. The Wi Fi anda perfect. However I found the sheets that were already on the bed were used. I had to order a new one and also gave the impression of being washed.

Nice hostel to go. Goes well x sleep is located in a quiet area and good located near the piazza De Gracia difianco the diagonal and on the main street.

Hostel bastante normalillo, la habitación estaba bien, aunque el baño era muy mejorable. Ambiente tranquilo. El desayuno no merece la pena.

I had a long stay in this hostel and I enjoy it! The Staff (Francis, Fran and Felipe, …) were really nice and helpful. The location is simply perfect (5 min walk from diagonal metro). Merci Beaucoup! Harry.

Comfortable facilities and limpuas. The staff is incredibly friendly. Very central.

Great facilities, very well located in a quiet location, yet within a neighborhood that has a lot of life. You know people from all over the world, and the staff is fantastic. You are where you are you will be welcomed, but if you are Spanish avísalo, given that it is something very unusual for the staff. It has free internet, and has two computers available for personal use.
