I stayed in this hotel for two nights and absolutely loved it! It's a beautiful hotel, it has everything you need and the staff is super nice :) it is in a very good location if you want to walk to the center but also near the metro station! :)

Lovely hotel place just north of city centre but not out of the way, depending on preferences the metro/ buses or walking it is all accessable. Staff at the hotel all friendly and helpful especially in my experience of trying to get home with the protests they were so helpful and supportive. The room was lovely, clean and size is good with signage to help cleaning staff be aware of your preferences, cleanliness was great had no concerns. Safe and aircon heating unit included and laundry service available to pay for if needed. The blackout curtain were great and windows soundproofing also very good. Amenities were great:
Breakfast buffet was lovely a great choice of options especially if you are like myself and have food tolerance, I had plenty to eat with great selection of breakfast styles and changes each day e. G scrambled then boiled eggs, rice then noodles it was a nice touch.
On arrival was offered to buy a bottle at €4.50 which some think is over priced but it helped as there was free use water machine with still, cooler and sparkling water options, a great help no need for outing to a local shop and extra costs adding up. There was also a free to use hot drinks machine again helpful if you felt the need for a drink but with the comfort of not needing to leave the hotel. Overall I loved the decor, atmosphere and the little extra that made my stay that much better, would love to come back again in the future. I definitely recommend.

It's terrible… The beds are lousy, the rooms are tiny and noisy, my door wouldn't lock and they had to switch me rooms, there are no ironing boards and when I placed my laundry in a bag to be pressed (clearly marked as instructed) staff failed to pick it up so my work clothes are unpressed. This place is terrible. I will def not be staying here next time.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights from july 24 to july 30, 2019. The hotel was very beautiful (newly renovated), clean, in a good location (near a metro station and the city center) and the staff members were kind and helpful. Very comfortable bed. Nice mini bar and we even got a balcony outside of our room with a very nice view of the city. Would definitely come back to this hotel :)

For Barcelona a really very clean and nicely furnished hotel. The breakfast is also very good and has a lot of choice. But I would especially like to praise the room service, as it cleans up the room every day and re-enters the beds, with fresh bedding.

The wievs not be soo much bit for a day is a very confortable place.

Very good level hotel very well located with a period façade! The rooms are spacious — equipped with a balcony and sun loungers! Climate! Breakfast with local pastries. Ideally located to visit the city's greatest monuments … "It has everything of a great"

Was a great stay. Breakfast buffet is good and the rooms bright and clean.

It is a nice hotel to stay for a Short city trip. We have stayed there for 4 nights which was completely fine. The staff is great! They speak Lot of languages at the reception and they help you with everything. For a longer stay the rooms would need some refurbishment. You can easily take the bus, metro, etc. To Go to The City center which takes about approx 20min.

5 minutes walk from MRT Fontana and a minute walk from the subway. Major attractions can be reached by MRT or within a 30-minute walk. Breakfast changes little, but delicious, there will be a noodle or rice, but if there is a room to open the window to speak, then listen to the clear. Back in the evening, on the road there are still a lot of residents returning home, feel at ease.

Location is amazing. Seems to be central to several of Barcelona's attractions and is very convenient to reach by transit. The rooms are small, but we'll appointed, and the staff is very helpful.

Very well used centrally located best recommendation for visitors who like to walk. Ample breakfast grandiose views from the rooftop Public Transportation around the corner Friendly Service For Gaudi Fans IDEAL.

A really great hotel. We had a nice room. It was nicely equipped. Double bed, TV, shower, safe. Our room even had a balcony. Sadly the view was only in the messy patio. The elevator was a big relief since we had our room in the 7th floor. Our stay included breakfast which was really nice and diverse. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Many thanks. Only a few minor things can be improved. Our bed missed a "real" blanket. We had to use a blue blanket wool blanket which was stored in the closet. The juice at the breakfast tasted artificial and could be better. The price for the stay was reasonable. I really do recommend the hotel to everyone!

The hotel I liked, it is comfortable and clean, it is located in a place of easy access, the night includes Desayunobufe,, this was not so good, the food was a little cold, in general it is a good hotel passing through Barcelona.

Very good Hotel located near the district of Gracia and other central areas of Barcelona. The worst, the elevators, which are very slow, and hinder the exit-entrance from high floors.

It has a perfect location for business trips. Very central and if you need transport no doubt highly recommended MyTaxi, it takes a few minutes since you ask, as the location allows you to have many drivers near your tour. It is a hotel with really comfortable and spacious rooms. The staff is attentive at all times, they were very friendly and allow you to leave your bags all day in one of their rooms, in case the checkout is very early but still want to continue walking the streets of Barcelona without having to drag the suitcases all over the City. I only tried the breakfast but both the schedule and the variety were adequate. Highly recommended definitely!

The interior rooms, yes, are was darkness, during the day it is essential to be with the lights on.

Location is close enough to the shops to walk, but far enough away from alot of tourists. We stayed on the 8th floor so the road noise was far quieter. Also you could not hear the metro as much as some of the other hotels further down the road. Breakfast is a simple continental breakfast which we have enjoyed each morning although their mugs are very small. The hotel staff can all speak English, they were warm and friendly throughout our stay. The room was clean. Ours had a safe, ac unit and huge TV. The bathroom was clean and all consumables came with seals on which was a nice touch, one I have not seem in hotels 3 times the price. For value for money this place really does tick all the boxes, and we'll worth a stay if your looking for something affordable but yet close to all amenities.

True to the words of many reviewers who have previously been here, my hotel room was spotlessly clean, and the beds were as comfortable as my very own back home. However, I was utterly and completely disappointed with the handling of my lost bag by the hotel management. I got back to my hotel room from a full-day of sightseeing, only to be astounded to discover several things amiss. First, an item which was originally placed inside my luggage, was strangely found resting on the table. The luggage zipper was also opened (by what means I have no idea) and after some searching, I realized a bag of great sentimental value was no where to be found. I reported to the hotel staff at the lobby, and was told that they would investigate and give me an appropriate answer, and which thereafter, we continued to correspond via e-mail after we left. Considering that this was such an esteemed and reputable hotel based on all the ratings and reviews, their replies and handing of this case were a complete let-down. Apparently, they claimed that there was no cctv in the corridor, and that they trusted their staff blah blah and the usual formalities. I was later offered 2 nights of free-stay in the hotels which I unequivocally rejected, simply because it sounded absurd and senseless that I have to fork out another 800 euros just to fly back to Barcelona (from Asia) in order to enjoy their ‘Free 2 nights stay’.

Firstly, I have to say that the first impression of the hotel was the staff reception, which was very friendly. They looked a bit overworked, as the hotel is busy and there seemed to be a stream of people waiting to see them, but they always had time for each customer. The rooms were clean, even if they were rather box-like. My view was awful, and afforded no daylight whatsoever, as I faced the windows of other box-like rooms. My real complaint would be the beds — they have to be the worst I've ever slept in. I regularly stay in hotels for my work, and I am not fussy at all, but I had 2 consecutive nights of little sleep because of the tough mattresses and the tough pillows. Simply terrible. Have one or the other, if you really have to, but not both, please?

Good hotel for a weekend in Barcelona. Metro station just a minute from the hotel. All spots are good to reach from that hotel. Only Wifi was a little bit poor in our room, next door was much better. We can recommend a stay at that hotel.

Great Hotel, Super friendly staff, I'm just thrilled. Breakfast is versatile, fresh bread rolls, Baguette, toast bread. We also have a terrace with a wonderful view. Fantastic, come on back!

The Hotel was perfect! The accomodation and the Location werde optimal. The staff ist very attentive and responsive, especeially the reception staff and mostly the woman Pilar. Absolutly cleanliness. Very delicious breakfast. I would definatly recommand it.

Very nice surprise in the middle of the city. For its price, offers very good location, clean bedrooms and a breakfast that's better than some higher rated hotels. A very good option to stay a few nights while enjoying the city or doing business.

Lovely hotel with a welcoming and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is situates only 1 minute from metro station Gracia, which is very convenient. Also, just across the street there is 24 hours minimarket and also you can find great restaurants and cafes in the area. I would definitely come back to Via Augusta!

Fantastic hotel, located in the Gracia district of Barcelona close to two underground stations. Our room was excellent with a great view and extremely clean. Service was impeccable, we even got a free bottle of wine as it was my partner's birthday when we checked in. Overall superb stay.

Nice hotel rooms clean and staff so friendly and helpful it is a bit out of the city but only 2 stops on the metro would definitely stay here again and will definitely visit Barcelona again there's some serious shopping to be done there lol.

The place is clean and close to the Metro. Friendly staff, someone speaks Italian but everyone talks great English. Good breakfast The rooms are a little bit small but comfortable.

My stay in the hotel was very pleasant. Both the service to the client as the hotel exceeded expectations. The room was ready and turned out to be very comfortable. Reperire no doubt.

The truth I rather to barcelona and friendly nothing I didn't like. Dark rooms, outdated, sausage breakfast with brands of dry by not keeping well in cameras, … Good thing is q there is a stop in front of train and q the receptionists were nice less one in the evening. For the price q is there are much better alternatives.

Friendly staff, nice breakfast, comfortable bedding, clean room. And it is located in the safe and quiet neighborhood apart from the downtown. (Although, be careful when going out late at night. I saw some men were wandering along the street. ) I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel last year and couldn't believe it got 2 star. More like a 4 star hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

We (couple, 25years old) stayed there for three nights in a double room. The room which was really clean and designed in a very modern style. Moreover, the hotel and the room were both in excellent condition. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to evaluate the food due to the fact that we went to restaurants in Barcelona. The hotel staff was very child, corteous and friendly. Plus point: we forgot a jacket in the closet, the cleaning lady found it and the hotel staff sent it back to Germany We would definitely recommend this hotel! We (2 people, mid-20s) stayed three nights in a double room housed. The room was very clean, concerning interior decoration and design, very nicely decorated, completely renovated and was in excellent condition. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and always helpful in all respects. (Food, unfortunately we can not judge) Big plus: We had a relatively expensive jacket there in the closet, forget what the cleaning lady at the reception Desk and the us in the Mail was forwarded. In any case, in good conscience recommend!

Well located in the Gracia district, with many health food stores and nice places. 1Min or 5 Min walking distance to the metro stations 'Gracia' or 'Fontana', from where you easily get to all important places in Barcelona. The Hotel itself is ok. The rooms are rather sparse, somewhat old. Cleanliness rather moderate (mold in the bathroom, stained furniture, unpolished window). Had a room to the street, which is very loud. Sleep only with the Internet mgl. In 6. Floor it offered a view over the roofs of the surrounding area. Staff very nice, got gluten-free bread and helped with booking tickets for's Museum. Even if the situation was good, I would next Time another Hotel a try.

Ive been to barcelona a few times each time terrific this hotel to date the best its basic but has all you need its very clean staff very helpful and the breakfast service excellent too. Location cant be faulted with both gracia and fontana metro station on your doorstep or a 20min walk to plaza catalunya. When im next in barcelona this will be my. Choice again.

Excellent location outside the hustle and bustle but very close to 2 Metro stops: Gracia and Fontana from which you can access everywhere.
Very close to the Gracia district for stays in August party and revelry at two steps. Hotel Clean linen change and housekeeping daily. Breakfast take it Out (save and also find Italian coffee at two steps). For a couple who do not have a thousand demands and not even a heritage to spend is a great solution.
