The hotel was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient and close to some attractions. Many public transport options are easily accessible to the hotel which makes it easier to get around the city. Also, taxis are always outside the hotel which helps a lot.

Very nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are well equipped. We also enjoyed the lounge. It is not exactly in the middle of town (i. E. Plaza Catalina) but easy bus access to anywhere. Amazing looking rooftop pool which is more like a large fish tank (so a small pool). My only complain is the carpet in our room was rather dirty looking and should have been changed sometime ago.

Well located, efficient and helpful staff, by contrre some worries with the maid of the room, the management of the minibar and billing. Damage.

Really nice hotel stay! Big rooms comfortable beds and the ambiance is great. The staff was very helpful in pointing out the attractions in the area and suggesting restaurants and local events. The hotel has a spa, swimming pools, and a rooftop bar, however, the rooftop was closed due to rain and winds for most of my stay. Located at a 5 minute walking distance to the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc and National Museum of Art of Catalunya, both of which are a must visit to take in some breathtaking views. Also, 5 minute walk to the bus stations and the metro system. We were able to take the bus to and from the airport and walked 5 minutes with our luggage to the hotel from the bus stop. Overall a great stay and would definitely stay there again.

Spacious rooms and rooftop with amazing views. Main attractions and LaRambla are at walkable distance. Good Wi-Fi and service.

Very good hotel, the pool on the terrace is out. Breakfast does not disappoint. And the rooms are perfect.

A lot has change in the years I have been coming to bcn for 4 years now. This used to be my favorite. Its now out dated, over priced & poorly managed now. (Feb 2018) I change hotel a few times in my 2 weeks in bcn this time. Try something different then the chain branded hotel. I lately found that the points you earned are not worth more then a better experience. The rewards are a trap, lets the chain hotel get away with lowering the standards slowly cause they know you care about your collection of points. The people that go here are these type of point chasers. As a crown plaza its more then a 2 star rating. This Crown plaza get 2 star for a Crown Plaza. Its outdated and miss managed! Location is good, if you go. Hope your stay better then mine.

The room was very good. Something away from the center but next to the Fira. Ideal for Congresses. Very helpful staff. I will return without hesitation.

The hotel is very close to the Italian pavilion fe la Fira. It has ample spaces for the celebration of events and a hall with many sofas and tables, comfortable for waiting and networking.

Location is a bit far from all major attraction but walkable to everywhere. Room is clean and you should expect what you have experienced with Crown Plaza elsewhere. Nice hotel!

My opinion is only about the service of Serena Spa. A few months ago they gave us one of those gift boxes on welfare and relax, inside the catalog we saw the spa Serena and we found a very good option since we know of before the good service and facilities of the hotel. The experience was great and we were left with very good taste in the mouth. This weekend we decided to repeat the spa experience again and it was a disappointment… First of all, we called before it was open to book time at the spa and ask about the possibility of getting a massage, we took the data to call us and confirm but no one did. I called back to book at the Spa, when we arrived the girl tells us that if we had called us could do a discount… to what I answer that we had called and no one had commented anything… After coming and going makes us a discount but in this case we commented An that does not enter the service of towel or flip-flops… in what kind of spa does not enter even a towel? Had we paid almost 40 euros and did not even offer us the basics? To top it off there were no lockers available in the female locker room and I had to leave my stuff in the men's locker room pacing… honestly the deal was much worse and we were pretty disappointed… Another day we will think of other Options, it's clear that not here.

We liked the hotel very much. The rooms are a little bit over the years but have been cut very generously. The beds are very comfortable and large. Central location, about 10 minutes away from the metro and in front of the hotel is a taxi stand.
It is a pity that the indoor pool can only be used for 16 years and the entrance to the indoor pool is free of charge. The roof terrace with a magnificent view over the city is great!

Clean and reliable Hotel. A very rich and varied breakfast. It may not be an adequate or expected price and for putting a but a gym without a static bike.

Too spacious, easily accessible to places in Barcelona. I feel the rooms are the way too spacious as compared to the other hotels in Barcelona. Amazing experience with them.

Loved us, had a sweat on 6 floor, very clean, nice staff and speak all English, not far from the center, with a small chic pool on the roof and a beautiful view.

Warm, welcoming, service to the point and very good stay. Evenings animated by singers, guided tour. The hotel has everything a tourist needs. Day and night tour of the city on foot very interesting. Good location of this hotel to visit Barcelona. Excellent value for money. The more my glass of champagne Moet at breakfast I love.

So not your typical Crowne Plaza and one of our favorites iN Barcelona. Welcoming, caring staff, spacious room and an excellent Club Lounge. We highly recommend splurging to upgrade for the added services/treats. Looking forward to the next stay already. Jet-lagged light sleepers may want ask for rooms away from the school during weekdays.

Our stay, albeit for only a couple of days, was truly enjoyable and restful. This IHG hotel treats its Aspire Elite members very well and I dare say this has been my best lodging experience ever. The suite we stayed in far surpassed all other hotel rooms I've been in all over the world. Great A/C, comfortable beds, and nice bathroom/shower accommodations. The executive lounge was top notch as well. 5 stars for days!

We were in the spa and had three cabins, air, dry sauna and wet sauna only worked the dry.

Good hotel in all respects, pleasant treatment on the part of its employees, located in one of the best areas of Barcelona, rooms with great comfort, yes you need a good hotel this is one of the best without a doubt. Barcelona always offers the best for all tastes.

Very nice executive room! Spacious and luxurious. Good location, close to bus stop and metro station. Excellent staff also, especially Adria who handled our check-in and explained all the various attractions nearby. Highly recommended!

Very clean and comfy. Staff was nice and courteous and the breakfast in the morning was good. The restaurant on the rooftop is really good as well, they serve great drinks and the staff is very fun.

Lovely hotel. Staff were very accommodating. As a spire member we were upgraded for free and had access to the club lounge. The new bar at the top floor was nice with great views. Highly recommend this hotel!

It's a moderately priced hotel leaning a bit on a pricey end. Having said so comes with all the modern faculties and serving good food. However due to a high number of Asian guests visiting the breakfast event have dumplings and noodles which was not quite to my liking. Great for people planning to visit nearby attractions such as the Musical fountain which is just a stone's throw away. Would recommend to all!

Location is a fair walk from the Centre of the City, it's a nice walk with plenty to see and a view of Barcelona that you might not otherwise get. Staff were more than willing to assist with any requests and were fluant in English. Rooms are huge and well decorated. Modern and fresh. Would definitely choose this hotel again.

This is a really nice hotel. The rooms are fairly big and beds are comfortable. We had a king size bed and pull out sofa bed. The bathrooms are really nice as well with a glass separation area for the toilet and another for the stand up shower. There is also a bath tub if you wish to soak in the tub. Small fridge and coffee maker in the room was nice. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had quick assistance with issues of additional towels and laundry service. Room Service was very attentive to the orders and the food was fairly good. The breakfast on the other hand was really good with lots of pastries, hot items, cereals and an espresso machine and juices and milk. Also Staff were on the floor attending all tables by asking about/providing coffee, clearing plates, etc. Also the Wi-Fi in the room was strong and had fast data speeds with no disconnections in service. Me and my family would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel in the city of Barcelona with all the extra amenities. Close to the Plaza of Spain and the Montjuïc mountain.

If you're trying to find a really great deal on this amazing hotel I'd highly suggest booking it through the website HotelRaven. Com They have great deals for it on there! Such a perfect place don't have enough great things to say really! The rooms are above average as are the people overall. However improvements can be made. The management must look into the standard of the breakfast and why when they are around its better than when they are not present. A well cooked and warm breakfast could give them the missing half star. A more accessible staff client interface would also be appreciated. Having been above average critical I must end saying bravo well-done and thank you for a pleasant stay.

The spa was very good. Unfortunately they lost my booking twice and I had to wait longer than they should to enter.

Great location, comfortable bed.

Do not comply with your word and always give an excuse not to book in the spa. They have excuses that they are reform, they forget the agenda, the computer is damaged and thousands of excuses is silly… the worst thing Is, don't serveis in this place if you don't want to go bad.

In a good location. But I was surprised that the bellman disappeared on checking in and I had to carry my bags myself. The reception is welcoming and cooperative. The rooms are clean. Not rich in facilities anyway.

First level recommended for important events.

I used the spa and it was quite a bad experience. Some circuits were not working, the water had things white water / dirt floating on the surface and it was crowded. I do not understand why do we have to book in advance if there is plenty of people anyway. All lockers were unavailable.
I went to the spa recently and the experience was rather bad. Some water systems were not working, the water was dirty and had a lot of people using it. I don't understand why must be by appointment if builds up people anyway. Not even remained free at the wardrobe lockers.

Nice location. Large two bed room and large beds. Probably the most comfy beds I ever slept on :) The bathroom is also very big and nice.

Absolutely recommended hotel under good management! We were in August 2014 there, when the sauna area was unfortunately still not done (renovated). With this (along with a swimming pool, is to be built on the roof), it would become safe 5 star in my review!
Located although slightly (! ) further out, if one of the old town, the Ramblas and / or the port goes out, this is anything but a bus or the Metro (both approx. 5-minute walk away) pronlemlos can be reached in less than 10 minutes.
The rooms in the hotel (we had a club room) are huge! The same can be said of the flat TV with 50 "lush fails! The beds are also large and very convenient! In the room there is a Nespresso machine. However, the enclosed capsules cost about €2 the piece! One has but which, it is free! ;-)
WOR will definitely yet again (and test the pool / sauna area).

Usually we stay at the Hilton Diagonal but decided to give this hotel a shot and it was definitely NOT a disappointment, in fact it was EXCELLENT! From the reservations and front-desk to the lounge and housekeeping staff, all were very friendly, welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Our special thanks to Sven the assistance manager who checked us in. Location was great, walking distance to public transportation, Plaza España, mall and restaurants. Room was huge (compared to many other branded hotels). Club lounge was relaxing, Nespresso coffee was a good choice and h'ourdvres in the evening was delicious. This hotel is now high on our list in Barcelona.

Excellent hotel, friendly staff.

Clean, refined, quiet, comfortable to the mezz is meter which bus. Very quiet location just steps from the magic fountains and the metro (plaza Espana). By subway you get with little time in major downtown attractions but I also recommend the external means with which to see the city without breaking the Bank (Council carnet T10 for bus/metro in 10, 30) ; in particular from Plaza Espana 150 bus to go to the castle of Montijuc instead of taking the cable car too dear, and the D20 to downtown (Barceloneta and Ramblas).
The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and a computer room with 8 i-mac connected to the internet, with whom we have to book and issue tickets for museum tours (also available as a printer).
Service very good, the room is arranged several times a day.
The only drawback. Breakfast costs € 14. Of course we made do in local bakeries great!. Good restaurants are not located in the area, but it was a great excuse to go to the Ramblas every night and enjoy the night life on the go. Overall great solution. Period of stay late August 2014.

Very nice hotel with a very a very helpful staff. I would recommend paying the upcharge for lounge access — — the lounge provides a very nice breakfast and has drinks and food of some sort out all day. A quick walk to the Magic Fountain and an OK metro ride to most of the rest of the city.

Very nice but sometimes seems that the pipes are not working well with not nice smell. Big rooms. Breakfast it's ok not so impressive. Bring with you an hairdryer the one in the room dry your hair to much.

Fantastic rooms. Very nice staff. Delicious meals. I would recommend it to everybody.
