Great roof top pool and hot tub — very friendly staff, perfect city centre location. Rooms are a little small and basic but no complaints — went for my birthday and hotel gave us a free bottle of cava. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby and only 15 mins to city centre.

The guys at receptions are so nice and friendly. It was a great experience to even checkin, they greeted us with smile and made sure we felt welcomed. The room is perfect, neat and clean and the etra bonus point was the coffee machine in the room. The coffee machines with coffee capsules are provided free of charge, and its so much better than kettle coffee. Location wise also its amazing and in close proximity with the cool bars and restaurants around. The room was no less than a 5 star room with all the comfort. All in all very good choice.

Attention! If you want to sleep soundly, then you don't want to book.
The rooms are extremely old and extremely light of hearing, you can even hear the fart of the neighbor's rooms.
Breakfast is a laughing stock, preferring to have breakfast outside at the many bakeries.
You sink into the bed like you would with a sponge.
In the bathroom it drips from all corners.
There is no ceiling lighting.
Only 2 lamps that are not bright enough.
Climate only works over 20°C off temperature.
But what is not the case in the evening, so you can sweat off one.
The ceiling has no shell but lies between two cloths, at night the cloths fly out of each other from the ceilings.
And you have a mess.
Wants to swim in the rooftop pool, so the whole thing goes with just a sound backdrop from the neighbor building, where the generator runs loudly!
Dad Hotel is very old-fashioned, the rooms doors open with a key, so no card what you expect from a "4 star" hotel and when you leave the hotel you have to hand over the keys.

Great hotel beyond any doubt. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean.

Spacious rooms (category Comfort) with large bathroom and clean. The double bed was very soft and narrow. The staff are very friendly. The appearance of the décor, however, is not as you would expect in a 4 star house. It all seems a little sober and not so cozy and valuable. The situation is good. The breakfast buffet is rich. However, since there is a saving of personnel and those who do not comply with refilling, a lot of things are just "off. " The quality of food and drink is also mixed. In sum, however, the hotel is ok nothing special. Compensated has been paid for the good fish restaurant next door.

I have to say that you don't control who comes in or who goes out someone that reserves a day room in this hotel and casually by another person that I know tells me that the room next door not to call some guys and ride there's a party. That they could control since a hotel of that category leaves much to be desired to pass those things, I think.

Hotel is spotless and modern. Staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. Decent safe no hidden charges and Wi-Fi was fast. Location for me is good, I walked everywhere even to Sants station to go back to Airport. Food is good for what your paying for. Will be back!

Great Hotel in the center center of Barcelona! Extremely confortable beds and standards are American USA standards. We did a Euro trip to France, Italy and Spain and the standards in Europe are usually lower, but this hotel at top of the line standards.

Nice stay, very friendly and kind staff, a guy at the reception speaks Italian, well equipped rooms, with Nespresso coffee machine and the possibility to prepare also the hot tea (they provide waffles, filters for tea, sugar, milk and Sweetener), smart TV also with Italian nets, bidets in the bathroom. Only downside are the rooms that are not soundproof! Recommended.

Stay here for 4 nights. Overall the atmosphere of the hotel is very enjoyable; The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. There is the terrace with pool on the top floor but we went in December.
It's not too close to the Metro, but in a 10 minute walk you are on the Rambla. The location is absolutely strategic to visit the city on foot or by the means. The metro station is clinic hospital. It is an essential, clean structure and they are very attentive to the customer. The room, which we had booked was a basic standard, facing the inner courtyard, of sufficient size and clean. The staff at the front desk were helpful, we asked for various information. We did not take breakfast at 16 euros apiece and there are delicious and cheap pastries/bars that with 1, 50/2 euros you can take 2/3 brioche + water or juice at the supermarkets open 24h nearby.
Great location of the property. On foot you can reach two Metro stations that lead you to the Sagra Familia and ten minutes from the Rambla.

The first night there was no availability in the type of room you book, they compensated with a rich breakfast the next day. I finally had the room booked. The staff were friendly and always attentive to collaborate. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the city's main attractions and connects easily with public transportation.

It is a bit expensive for what you get but I guess you're paying for central location. However the stuff is attentive, super polite and willing to help. The swimming pool in the rooftop is nice, the right size and as we travelled in June (not the highest peak), there was enough sun beds for us.

It is clean and informal, small matrimonial bed but very comfortable. Very good service. Breakfast a little expensive 15 euros.

We climbed up, the room perfect, very well equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath, shower, vide, dryer included wall and a magnifying mirror, the shower great, beds super comfortable, wrap you ARE A DANGER, please wake up or not to meet barcelona. The tele, enough, do not you should turn it on, it's probably not you're there to watch tv, enjoy the big city, but it worked perfectly. A small table with a chair comfortable, a wardrobe with hangers sufficient and a safe deposit box, don't use it, but it sure siguiria the line of the hotel, and said well

This hotel is wonderful. Very comfortable bed, spacious room, well located and the breakfast included in the room is worth it. I will repeat it again.

Ottima posizione. Stanze ampie e nuove, ben insonorizzato per l'esterno mentre un po' sottili I muri interni. Personale gentile. Unico problema: ci sono poche prese in camera e in posizioni scomode.

Nice hotel with clean and basic rooms. Nothing that fancy but why would you want to spend the day in your hotel room in a city like Barca! They have a pool and hot tub on the roof. Concierge was extremely helpful and friendly!

Thieves, dishonest and arrogant and agressive staff. NOT a place for you or your family because of agressive staff. Poor Wi-Fi connection, uncomfortable beds. Unfortunately there were some problems regarding our prepaid room and the hotel staff, instead of helping us and trying to set this matter as soon as possible, tried to make an extra earning through our situation. This hotel really RUINED our VACATION.

Everything was fine, clean rooms, nice staff etc but fairly basic for the price you pay. Don't bother with the breakfast as the value isn't there, they also have free bike hire which is nice.

It was a gem of a find, especially during off season. The price for 2 rooms, each with 2 single beds was amazing. It definitely saved us money to splurge on food instead. The room and the bathroom were both spacious and very clean. No complaints there. The concierge was wonderful with their customer service and were very helpful with guiding us to the metro and local restaurants/sightseeing places. In terms of location, it was walking distance to most things. I would definitely recommend the Sunotel to all my friends, especially for the good value and great service.

3 stars for the disponibility of the personal, the services and the property. But im disapointed with the isolation of the room, I could not sleep with the aspirator running in the neightboor rooms. I payed 38 euros for 3 hours.

Made a wrong booking on a non-refundabe hotel-room. It changed its price while checking it with a fellow traveler (€200, — more expensive) This is NOT a personal treatment and I wish they would know when to get away from behind the small print. Service is NOT GOOD. With frustrated mind having to visit the overly priced room.

Unfortunately, very disappointed, there were only 3 days here and had not a single peaceful night. Doors slam really loudly, everything is very noisy. Even in April were in our room already unbearably hot.

The room was spacious and nice, clean and looked new. Wifi reception was excellent. Breakfast was satisfying. Staff was polite and could communicate in English. Location is about one — one and a half kilometers from Plaça de Catalunya Central square so take that in to consideration.

Went during World Mobile Congress = Crazy Expensive! Smallish room but clean and friendly staff. The next door neighbor has a dog that barks non stop starting at about 7:15 AM on week days. Food was OK — almost all cold options. Internet is retty flaky too. Close walk to shops and good food.
