If you love cool design, nice cocktails and food, go for it!

Thrilled here with the room and Liberte the bar which I love. Excellent drinks and music.

My first time in Barcelona and decided to book here, at this wonderful and filled hotel. Love the accessibility of different vibes — from the lobby to the bookstore walking in, to the restaurants + coffees. Their staff is also incredibly kind and friendly. Also, great breakfast! I look forward to staying again in the future.

We stayed 5 nights and it was a really bad experience, not friendly at all, we had problems with both the shower and the toilet, the cleaning service was very poor, and although we complained several times managment didn’t care.
Not a 4 stars hotel for sure.

Fantastic location the best service from all staff front office restaurant and housekeeping throughout. This is a very unique property thoughtful and cool design and fitout. Highly recommended and would very happily stay again on our next visit. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Nice Vibe, great lobby where you can have a good seat for a chat, shirt meeting. Or just a drink. Rooftop has a great ambiance! Rooms are average size for BCN. Mattresses are great. Stayed in a double room, which has open sanitair, which give more space in the room.

A modern yet classic hotel in a vibrant area of Barcelona. The rooms are decorated with style using locally designed furniture. The hotel features fine dining in both the ground floor restaurant and the roof terrace. The helpful staff make you feel welcome and remain on hand to assist you with your needs during your stay.

Amazing dinner on the rooftop. Top quality food with nice views and music for an acceptable place considering the placement.

I give this place a 5 star as the decoration and the general attitude of it, is both chic and relaxed… and it's not an easy goal to achieve.

Friendly staff, feels like a home away from home. Within 3 mins walk to metro. Will def stay again while visiting Barcelona.

The hotel is positioned in a very nice place, you can arrive in barrio gotico or gracia in 20 minutes by walking. The rooms are comfortable (the bed is amazing), even if a bit noisy because of the close street. The personal is very attentive and I had a very nice experience.

Big fan. They have really found their groove since opening — had a rocky start. Love the breakfast, and the coffee bar has great vibes. My favourite hotel in Barcelona now.

Great concept and have to say I love Libertine and the DJ set… could do with better service at the tables, but that is the only 'bad point'.

Really good looking hotel from the outside as well as the inside. The bar and restaurant also look quite nice and have a good variety of food and beverages. Loved the look of everything!

They made us wait for more of the bill to attend without being the local with many people. Good food, and I invite you to try the Orange wine specialty of the house. The cubata is not worth the €12 we paid.

Super Centric hotel of Barcelona with a multitude of small restaurants in the vicinity, 2 steps from the Pasto de Gracia, nice and professional staff, beautiful rooms overlooking an indoor patio and terrace rooftop accessible. Recommended for a relaxing trip.

The food and the atmosphere good though the service quite slow. A waitress for the whole room on a Saturday at noon… I think they should put some bartender on the bar and the other in the room. We were waiting for a good time to be catered for and served.

It's a restaurant to go once and meet him. The offer is different and everything we tried is very rich, but the prices, especially the price of the wine, is too high and makes the Bill fire.

Great deco and atmosphere. Not too impressed with the drinks offering at the bar and I have not tried the food but you can also order coffee from the attached Satan Cafe, which is excellent.

Beautiful laid back boutique hotel. Awesome rooftop to have drinks or bar/lounge.

Great hotel — comfortable beds and a good location in the city centre. The roof terrace is great to work or relax on and the café and bar/restaurant are good places to start and end the day. The building itself is interesting to — converted sympathetically and not just a number of identikit rooms.

My favorite hotel in Barcelona. Rooms have a nice design. Favor a high floor with view on the patio. Calm and luminous. Great breakfast. Tapas taste good and cocktails are of great quality. Wine by the glass disappointing. Try the rooftop in the summer.

"Da Place to be" with very good vibes, excellent cocktails, service 10 and a great atmosphere. They have made a fantastic restoration of the building and it shows. Constantly do events that are related to wines, art or cinema!

A nice setting, a warm and cosy atmosphere!

I had never been and went on a Sunday for a drink. The place I like is very cozy and they make good cocktails.

Overall great experience. Centrally located near the train and bus line. 15 minutes walk to la familia Sagrada and gothic quarters. Excellent customer service. Provide map with all the attractions highlighted during check in. Room was smaller than expected and a bit outdated but it was clean and comfortable.

This is a great place for visiting tourists. Central location in the gothic district and near many popular sites. This place is out side the tourist area, the restaurants are great tasting and much better prices then near the central square. The hotel is modest but clean and includes all amenities expected. The roof top terrace and bar is great. Behind the lobby is a great bar and restaurant with live music most nights. Great staff, well spoken English from lobby staff.

A really great place. The coffee here was fantastic. The lighting is also really nice inside and it is very relaxing. Recommend.

We stayed in Casa bonay for 5 days and they were the worse nights ever. The hotel needs to be refurbished. Old elevators. Inconvenient service. In the room, the air condition was pointed directly to the bed, the room was way smaller than what we expected, 5 days and the floor was never cleaned! Sheets are not changed even when requested. Room service is not available by 11 pm. Would not recommend it and definitely not booking again in this hotel. Note: we just want to thank Thallisa for being friendly and helpful all the time with every one. She worth a better position.

The reason we picked this hotel for our stay in Barcelona was because the hotel looks soooo well designed! I love every design from entering to the lobby area to the cafe and roof top. However, the room wasn't as good as we thought. We wonder how they got 4 stars. The bed sheet has multiple holes, and the cleaning isn't quite thorough. The price and the quality aren't comparable.

An elegant hotel with an excellent restaurant, bar, café and terrace. Events at the Libertine bar are worth checking out.

Slow elevators, could be cleaner, worker spaces and stairs are unsightly. Cables and chords need to be tucked away. Rooftop grill is messy. Service is inconsistent. Chipped paint. Can't get a cocktail in lobby till 7pm. Roof bar out of cocktail mixer. Room service took an hour, I had to call down, they then claimed they were on the way — food was very cold. Just not good enough for the price. It needs a manager to watch the service and atmosphere very closely. Although they have a nice insta.

The hotel was nice and checkin was pleasant and I was able to checkin early. Food at the restaurant was tasty. Staff wasn't super attentive and I felt like I was interrupting someone to get service. Was bummed out that the rooftop was only open for weekends as I the website seemed to indicate otherwise.

Slightly quirky (in a good way), but fun hotel. Great staff. Have events in the hotel (movie screenings, parties, etc). The rooms are very nice and designed well. The Asian restaurant on the ground floor is delicious too.

Casa Bonay is for sure one of the coolest hotels I have ever been in. When I saw it in the Coolmapp Barcelona Guide, I knew it was going to be a cool hotspot but it totally exceded my expectations. Its interior design is really hip & cool, all the employees were lovely and willing to help us. We also loved their lounge bar food and cocktails and their café. Furthermore, it is centrally located (10 min walk to Plaza Cataluña) and its rooftop terrace is awesome!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and cosy room. Air con is very nice and despite being next to main street with window closed can't hear a thing! Would definitely recommend if coming to stay in Barcelona as all public transport within 5min walking distance.

Loved it! 5 stars. Really new, cool, funky hotel in a great location. 5 mins to gothic quarter and 7-8 to las ramblas. Loved the layout and the decor. Amazing quirky dimly lit bar with great cocktails and service. Cool reception with helpful, friendly English speaking staff. Loved everything from the wallpaper to the coffee shop conveniently located on the ground floor. Great chilled vibe and minimalistic but super comfy rooms. Fantastic sky bar and really nice staff. They made a special effort for my girlfriends birthday and we had an incredible room overlooking the grand via which we will never forget. Staff really looked after us. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks!
