Great hotel! Very clean! So close to all the attractions and amazing breakfast! We will be back and stay only here!

It's a beautiful hotel! Cleaning every day, loyal managers at the front desk. Especially Irena, a Spaniard, but he speaks Russian well. There's a good lad. Breakfasts are super!

Small rooms, but clean. The cleaning lady just made the bed and took out the trash. Good reception workers, well spoken English, there is a Russian girl. Breakfasts are good.

I've been hosted to attend some social event, and the most remarkablepersonel have been quite receptive and available all the time I needed. Room is light, but bed wasn't quite nice. Id like to have a better stay. Breakfest is ok.

Comfortable Hotel and close to Metro station. From the 6th-7th floor You can see the towers of the Sagrada Familia, excellent terrace with loungers, clean and spacious rooms, well-furnished bathroom, very precise and punctual staff that also provides directions on places to visit.

Located in a great spot. Close to places to visit, 2 metro stops and lots of great restaurants and bars. The staff and friendly, sympathetic, and ready to meet any issues, to give you some good advise on staying in the city. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you need, great cleanliness. The average price of the genre. You can find good deals. Recommended for a short stay in the beautiful Barcelona.

I booked my company at this hotel and I was very comfortable. The rooms are quiet and the mattresses are very comfortable.
The receptionist had the detail of giving me the room at 10am instead of making me wait. This was perfect for me, coming from the bird to a meeting as I was able to groom for a meeting I had.
The truth is that I would stay again.

Nearby bus terminal, walking distance 15minutes. Nearby sagrada familia, wallking distance 10minutes. Easy to find signboard even at night. Friendly staff. Standart room and cleanliness. Child friendly services. Allow customer to leave luggages before of after check in.

By work subject I have been 3 times in this hotel.
Lowercase rooms that envy many zulos, in some cases dirty.
The breakfast buffet is poor, scarce and takes a lifetime to replenish.
The Wi-Fi of the hotel is between bad and distressing, in the 21st century and with the connections that there is not able to offer a Wi-Fi so bad, at least charge for it instead of giving it free but offers quality.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We have to return for work back to Barcelona (at least another 5 or 6 weeks) but of course, we have already asked the company to look for another alternative.

Hotel that has 3 stars but it's like 4. Certainly lack of services like the kettle in the room but the furniture is modern, new and welcoming. Great location Unbeatable value for money.
We booked so many rooms and then I saw them a little bit: they are not small at all. You just have to know what room you take. Clearly the doubles for single use are smaller than the classic doubles and the single is really single.
I had the 708 and the 709 that are communicating and wanting to have a common door that if used, turns them into a mini apartment.
Avoid the rooms. 01.02.03 because too close to the elevators and. They could be resenting noise level.

It's a very nice hotel. Ideal for couples. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It also has a balance to weigh suitcases! This saved us from paying overweight at the airport. They also have locker to leave the suitcases if you still can't enter the room or you should deliver the room. It is a hotel that I recommend to stay in Barcelona. It has close to/mercados restaurants and bus stops. It's close to one of the main avenues.

Very well maintained but only had 1 English speaking channel on the TV and that was the Paris station. All we could watch was news. They charged for the internet, they wanted a £10.00 deposit to get a beach towel to use on the rooftop pool, same deposit to use the iron, had to call to tell them no water pressure or hot water. They never bothered to call us back to let us know it was fixed. Somewhat friendly.

I requested a quiet room. I pretty much got what I asked for. Beautiful wood floors in the room. Rooms are small but that is Europe! Very clean. Staff is friendly and very helpful. They have a cafe that is open for breakfast/brunch only. Its location is only a few min walk to the famous Sagrada Familia. Something not to miss!

The hotel needs a thorough modernisation.

Okay, let's be clear. I didn't stay in this hotel, but I did eat in its restaurant once and it was terrible. I gave 5 stars because I wasn't in the hotel and it would be unfair to judge the whole place by its restaurant. The customer service was more than terrible. The woman who welcomed us was obviously angry that she had serve someone. We chose what we wanted to eat and when it was ready she throw it on our table and left without a word. She also did this with all the other people in there. I didn't get any cutlery and when I mentioned this and asked for it she looked at me like I was asking her to hit someone. The food was also terrible we definitely won't go back and I cannot recommend this place. Once again: this is not against the whole hotel! It may be a good place, just stay out of the restaurant.

Economical hotel located close to center of town. Most places are within walking distance. The staff was extremely helpful for check-in. The beds are comfortable and the room is well air-conditioned.

Room was small and very clean. The bathroom was very nice shower/tub. Their breakfast was great and I thourghly enjoyed it.

The location is perfect. It allows you to take a nice walk towards La Rambla and the old quarter, and then you will find the Sagrada familia nearby. Only flaw the interiors are to be arranged a little, since having been restructured recently you would expect something better.

Close to Metro stations, spacious and cozy rooms with air conditioning, very cozy and quite complete service.

All in all positive and convenient hotel experience in Barcelona. It would be a little renewed.

It is good for a 3 star hotel, although the bed a little hard.

The hotel was clean and staff were courteous. They make you pay for a locker for your luggage if you want to store it after you check out. The door to the shower was broken. The room was pretty small. But, in summary, it was fine.

Location was OK. Close to Sagrada Familia but far from metro stations to get to the Gothic quarter. But we like walking so it was absolutely fine. Rooms were small and very very simple. The floors throughout the hotel are wood which is very noisy and slippery. So we could hear everything in the hallway and the rooms around us. Service was OK. This is a basic, simple hotel. Nothing special but nothing bad either.

Great location, really central and close to alot of Barcelonas must see attractions. Plenty of nearby bakeries and markets for reasonably priced food and drink. I went for a winter break and found the staff very friendly and polite. Despite my almost complete lack of Spanish I had no trouble communicating. The hotel was very reasonably priced, I found the room a little lacking compared to pictures on trip advisor (no candles, orchids, no kettle?!? ) Otherwise the room was as advertised, very clean and suited my needs perfectly. I chose not to pay for any breakfasts during my stay so cannot couch for the standard of the kitchen. I would recommend Aranea as an affordable, well situated hotel for those wishing to explore Barcelona and all it has to offer, which is alot! Saying that if you intend on spending all your time at the hotel you might find yourself wanting.

Some staff very pleasant others not so, agree with others that breakfast could be improved such as a hot plate to keep hot food hot! Also the walls of the rooms seem to be very thin so can be a bit noisy.

Even if only for a few days 7/6/2015 the 7/9/2015 can I say outstanding hospitality, friendliness, cleanliness, give great advice to tourists, hearty breakfasts, maximum hygiene, clean and friendly. Though very cheap I have to say that their food is outstanding and exquisite … too bad you can't dine. Is situated a short distance from attractions and easily accessible by the media … I highly recommend it to everyone … we are very happy with.

Lovely and helpful staff. We originally had a tiny room but they upgraded us to a much bigger room free of charge and with a smile on their face! Not in the city but in a quiet area which is nice, depending on what you want. Breakfast wasnt to my liking but that's okay. The kitchen staff were friendly too. All in all, not a bad place.

The walls and doors of the hotel especially the cardboard. All very nice at night. On 7-th floor of the relay click loudly a lift. Our room was right next to him. The first night of the very annoyed, but then came the tired that everything was FICO. 703 double room very cramped, sometimes that would break up the collection, had to traverse each other hodiv on bed;) Rooms with two beds on the bed. Double bed 140 cm, it was crowded. Bathroom, in addition to stains on the ceiling, net. Shower not for overweight people. Thin is quite comfortable, but it would be difficult to climb polnovatym and unfold. At some point, when the soul is hot! be careful Like Windows, black-out curtains, shower with parquet, first channel. All pure. There is a fridge, but drinks it dear, we scored it with their own, bought in the supermarket just next to the hotel. Breakfast usual, Hamlet or second-rate, ham, cheese, cereal with milk, pie, kruasančiki, coffee, juice. Staff polite and helpful. Hang a "do not disturb" sign during the stay. Once the cleaning lady steal plate, but on all the time never came. And it's great. We though razbrasyvaem things, but just don't have time to get a little dirty room, as in for example, frequently cleaned and touched my stuff. The hotel is nothing special, but we're not in Barcelona because of it, isn't it.

Rude staff, AC not working and not really in the city centre.

I went on vacation 5 days with my sister. The room was really small en the breakfast wasn't that nice. But the service was really good! Lockers for youre baggage when you arrive early or leave later and the room will be cleaned every day.

It sucks the Google maps.

My parents stayed there, one day visit them q I asked please key for the Wi-Fi and they told me that was for clients, comment you: my father is hosted here. The receptionist I doubt, and more force that eager gave me (anyway, the internet Bill came from the same price, connect one or 100, or none). Also are intolerant to pets.

Not really in the city center. Rooms are small but not bad. Service could be better, even for a 3 star hotel. If you really want to go there, avoid the rooms in the last floor where you hear really good the lift machinery. But price OK.

It has good location, can be improved the cleaning and maintenance of the room.

Once I change room, since that I had given was a hovel, I find that there is a mattress that destroys you back, a cascarillada shower and a TV with 5 channels and mist, I decide to take a glass of warm milk and not surprise! There is no night Café. And breakfast, £ 11 there is no natural juice with the same pizzas you take several dishes the fat level is second to none, and I hope that it happens soon week. Happy stay.
