Very good looking redesigned interior with a lot of taste. Perfect location near shopping area and plaza de Catalunya or la Rambla. Comfortable room yet some are very small! And mine was quiet although I could here the metro (was on second floor). My tip : ask for upper stories if you want to avoid that.

A hidden gem in the heart of the trendy part of the city. Great central location for sightseeing. Helpful friendly staff. Great breakfast! Stunning rooftop patio. Beautiful spacious rooms. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny.

Good central location, nicest design in an old palacio, our room was small and had windows only to a inner cortyard… but nicely decorated as well.

Super nice experience at Hotel Granvia when we were in Barcelona! The location is excellent! Very easy to access everywhere (5mins walking distance to the casa batllo and plaza Catalinya! ) The food is good as well! Although no breakfast included in the booking, there are free teatime (with Catalonia cake) in the afternoons and welcome drink everyday (different wine and cocktails) The building has a deep history and elegantly decorated. Super nice to stay here for one week. Highly recommended!

My family and I stayed at this hotel back in July 2017. The food was amazing (the scones and jam at afternoon tea), the staff were very kind, the hotel rooms were extremely nice, and the balcony outside of the breakfast was just perfect. I would totally recommend this hotel for any tourists who are coming to visit the beautiful city of Barcelona in later years.

Beautiful Hotel. Room — superior tastefully decorated. Just beautiful. Breakfast — everything your heart desires:) Location Perfect! Metro and bus outside the door, but actually everything is within walking distance — culture, shopping, eating and drinking.

Stunning hotel in a great location, spotless with pleasant and helpful staff. We had a superior room facing the main road and we barely heard the traffic despite the large doors and balcony. Tea time treats and 24h tea/coffee was a lovely touch. Great central location. Only criticism was the lack of a British TV channel, BBC news did not work in our room. Not a huge issues but after long days of exploring the streets and sites, would have been nice to catch up on the news. We will be back.

Very comfortable and modern rooms. All very reformed. You miss a bathtub so you can relax. One thing to improve in the bathrooms is that they should install extractors. The breakfast buffet is fine but somewhat scarce. I'd add sweeter. Overall I recommend this hotel. It's quite comfortable.

Amazing hotel 5* service and facilities in a 3* hotel. Location can not be beaten right in the heart of Barcelona with shops like Rolex Tiffany etc just on your door step. And the strips a 5min walk away. Well recommend.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Stayed during December, 2016 and had very friendly and helpful staff. The room was modern and recently renovated — no real complaints (we could hear some street noise, but really not an issue at all). We had an in-room AC/Heat so we were very comfortable during the night. Very nice breakfast spread as well — had everything we needed. Quick walk to Placa Catalyuna and metros — would recommend over the more traditional US Marriot a few blocks away.

Smart hotel, friendly and helpfull staff. Clean and modern interior. Near all the smartest shops. Comfortable mattresses on the beds. Enjoyed afternoon tea on the first floor terrace at the rear of the building. Could hear the occasional car horn and siren during the night as our room was facing the road. They have tried to minimise this with double glazing and thick floor length curtains.

Stayed in Superior room. Better than most 4 star hotels I have stayed at. Decorated nice, very clean, awesome location. Only downfalls are, no restaurant in hotel, service was okay — nothing special, only one elevator and is quite slow. Overall for the price and location in Barcelona, would stay again.

Hotel Granvia held us during the terrorist attacks and while my actual hotel was unreachable. They took great care of us and made sure we got back to our original hotel. My thanks are with their stellar staff.

Really beautiful inside. Redecorated and now has a transitional decor. The rooms are large. Very large window to the street. Bed is really comfortable. They have a pillow menu! Location is amazing, right in front of a metro station and right off the Passeig de Gracia for all the shopping. Too bad breakfast isn't included but that's okay, everyday from 5-7pm they have free tea and pastries if you happen to be at the hotel at that time. Highly recommended!

Booked here on the recommendation of Rick Steves and for once he was SO WRONG. Juan, the day clerk, threw a fit when we asked if there was a room with one double bed instead of two singles (we were on our honeymoon). For 145 Euro per night, beds shouldn't shake from passing traffic and sheets should not be ridiculously threadbare. We've traveled a lot around the world and this is the first time we've encountered such an amazingly rude and over-priced place. Salon and patio are lovely, too bad the rooms are shabby, noisy, and uncomfortable.
