The location was perfect for us. Close to Paça Catalunya, great restaurants, public transportation and to the port for getting to our Cruise Ship.

Beautiful, great views and centrally located. I'd stay here again for sure.

This is a great hotel. It is centrally located, the staff are very helpful and the beds are comfortable! I would certainly return and recommend it to friends.

Staff is spectacular, truly accommodating and responsive. Wifi throughout the hotel is spotty and slow (if internet is even available). Room service food terrible but great location makes up for small annoyances. Nice size rooms but furnishings could use a refresh.

Had a wonderful stay at Le Meridien, thanks to a package deal from Costco. It is in a prime location in the heart of Barcelona, and the stuff were very helpful in helping us navigate the city. It's a 5 minute walk from Plaza Catakunya, where you can grab connections by bus, train, or metro, making getting around the city a breeze. They also have a WONDERFUL breakfast buffet.

The Le Meridien Hotel Barcelona is great because of it’s location, the staff are friendly and very helpful! Highly recommend this hotel! They have a great coffee shop inside the hotel, that makes delicious iced mocha with touch of vanilla. Delicious The breakfast is outstanding and the waiters are beyond friendly and helpful!

Nice remodelled room & in room amenities. Gym is very basic and quite small. Food is average and staff is not that polite. Biggest pain point… transport. Asked staff for a cab and was told to go get one myself. No proper system in place to offer transport to guests.

The location does it. Super centrally located, short distances to the different districts of the old town. The equipment is still very good, you can already see the wear and tear in some places. Breakfast with a wide selection of cold cuts and cheeses. Freshly prepared egg dishes to choose from. Professional service at the reception.

We arrived after a stay in Paris. The second part of our 20th Anniversary Trip. They had a bottle of champagne and chocolates in our room. Every member of the staff has been excellent and accommodating. Both restaurants that were recommended were excellent. We enthusiastically recommend this hotel.

The staff here set new standards for service and attention. Nothing we asked for was a problem but more importantly our needs were anticipated. Porters, concierge, reception desk, restaurant staff and big thanks to you all for making our short stay just perfect. The beautiful clean room and fabulous bed also helped.

Very nice SPG hotel situated midway on Las Ramblas. This can be a mixed blessing; especially over a 4 day weekend during Spring break. With crowds everywhere, the hotel is anice refuge. I could actually give it 4.5 stars for service and the physical property.

I wasn't sure about picking up le meridien for our family visit to Barcelona and I preferred the W But it turned to be the best choice, best location, rooms are renovated, very nice breakfast.

I have not been inside but this hotel is hosted figures such as Madonna, Maikel Jackson …

The hotel is one of the best in Barcelona, Spain. Very nice rooms specially the one with terrace. It is the best hotel location as it is located in the heart of Rambles the famous street in Barcelona all the best restaurants and coffees are around. The hotel is also located 2 minute walking from Catalonia square we all tourist buses are there, don't forget to feed the birds in Catalonia square very interested experience for families with kids. However, the hotel is quite expensive and will cost a lot compare to others.

Great location, near shopping, great restaurants, and attractions. The staff is nice, but they are very disorganized. Additionally, the rooms are a bit dated. The bathroom in my suite could've used some remodeling.

Great staff! The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. They provided fantastic restaurant recommendations too. Check out the spa! The sauna was amazing after long days of sightseeing and I never saw any other guests using it.

Was there for a night. Started with a spider in the bathroom as well as broken lavatory, damaged bathtub, door, table, chair, furniture and non working TV. Management gave me SPG stars after a couple of times complaining (which I will never use). This is not what I expect from a premium hotel. My recommendation: Get a nice boutique hotel for the fraction of the price. There are a lot of them in Barcelona.

My first time to Barcelona and I am very pleased with the hotel. The room I had was slightly upgraded and had a comfortable King bed. The staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English. The concierge was particularly helpful pointing out locations to pick up items to replace a lost bag and totally understood what I was looking for in a restaurant. For those of you who have status on SPG, the hotel will not disappoint. I only ate breakfast at the hotel but again, staff was awesome and the spread accommodated American as well as European and some Asian tastes. No Starbucks in the room, but a hot water pot with instant coffee typical in European hotels. One other nice touch, the shampoo and soap in the bathroom had wonderful scents to provide a luxurious end to a long day of travel or sight seeing…

Great location, access is just off La Rambla. Very spacious rooms unlike most hotels on La Rambla.

This is probably one of the best located SPG properties in Barcelona. While the W might be trendy and on the beach, Le Meridien is located in the Gótic quarter along La Rambla.

Hotel Le Méridien is one of the best hotels in Barcelona located just next to Las Ramblas very close to the Boqueria what you have it all at hand.

Very central location, close to everything walking but despite being close to everything is not the best area, Raval and Ramblas are places that better not go. The facilities were very good but the price was very high.

Located on La Rambla where is the heart of Barcelona, Le Meridien was the best hotel we spent on our vacation. The room were clean and great decoration. The staffs were helpful, friendly, and especially my husband got his birthday card by the time we checked — in (the girl knew because of his passport). We appreciate for the attention to detail that we won't forget. We will come back very soon.

Great location. Second time that we've stayed there and we were not disappointed. Arrived early and the staff got us our room 4 Hours before normal ckeckin. Nothing was a problem. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel's location is great, super central. It's quite beautiful as well. Breakfast was good, with Iberian ham, smoked salmon and omelettes/eggs cooked in the moment. Tried a suite and it's pretty amazing, views are great and the sunrise was mind blowing.

5-Star Hotel with perfect location.

Very central on the main street. Comfy rooms. Had no bother there whatsoever. Did not like the Restaurent much and for such a great location they had no table and chairs outside while. Others had.

Excellent lunch and dinner in the heart of Barcelona.

Liked everything as it should be. The 5th star deduction is because our service bed what we should rent for €50 the night, but what an air mattress was… they have given us then an upgrade to a suite which has the error again ausgemärtzt.

Prime but busy location, close to everything, rooms were big, bathroom was gorgeous, breakfast was delicious, and you're a 5 min walk from the food market — a foodies dream. They also include complimentary tickets to Palau Guell. Love this hotel, will stay again!

The location is great, near the market and all its food, 20 minute walk to the beach, and the metro. The room is luxurious, with a huge shower stall, sitting chairs, and comfortable bed.

Stayed over at Le Meridien La Ramblas around the Christmas holidays. The hotel is located on the top end of La Ramblas which makes the hotel right at the heart of Barcelona, almost like staying on Barcelona's version of Times Square. Within the same building there's a Carrefour for groceries, and there's a spa and pool which I tried one evening. Location wise, it's in between 2 metro stations on the same line, Catalunya and Liceu. There's a Starbucks just in the building next door, as well as a good restaurant opposite called Luzia as well as one inside the hotel called Centonze. Centonze in particular was a favourite of mine. An amazing serving of dishes that I would consider one the best I had in Barcelona and that's not an easy thing to achieve considering the dizzying array of choices on the gourmet front. Plus, while I was there they had a SPG promotion that made the meal really value for money. The place is on the higher-end scale but comparable or better value then the more touristy fare you get near the harbour. One note is that Barcelona has strict laws on occupancy and that caught me by surprise as the hotel could not check my family in. There was 4 of us and 2 of them are kids. Luckily, there was a family room available which I had to pay additional for (if only I've been upgraded! ). So if you're bringing kids, look out for this requirement in case you get stranded. After the initial distress, we were delighted when we got into our family room.

A hotel where everything you have intended for children: details at check-in, family suites, spacious and very clean, Wii to play, aguas de fontvella children, snacks, lego for children, but, above all, a treatment impeccable and very, very close. The children feel as at home! The location is the best of Barcelona. In the Ramblas you can enjoy the historic center of Barcelona, stroll up Columbus, take a spin on The Swallows. The hotel also has invitations to get to know the Palau Güell where they visit family. Highly recommended!

The location is great, right next to the Ramblas. The rooms are a bit small, but they are very nice with great views. The service was also very warm and welcoming. Staff speaks great English.

Very nice, but be prepared to deal with the hectic Las Ramblas walkway.

The tapas were good but don't love the paella (mixed). They have good sangria's and the waiter was very helpful.

It's a superb hotel I saw ever as 4/5 with 360 digree view. Cultural decoration is mind blowing.

A staff is kind and the location is very good. But When I left there, there was a soccor match, the street around hotel was very crowded. Because of that it was hard to take a taxi.

I've never hosted at Le Meridien Barcelona, since we live in the same city, but if I have had the pleasure of visiting their facilities open to the general public in restaurant and café. On the one hand, Centonze, the restaurant offers menus of very good quality with fresh products of the Mercat de la Boqueria an unbeatable price taking into account the category of this hotel. It is also possible to taste your letter and according to that time of the year, themed menus, dishes and tapas. On the other hand, cafeteria Longitude Bar 2º10' is an ideal space for meetings with clients, with friends or even to go to relax for a while, without more, enjoying a good cup of coffee. For this they have the figure of Leticia King, Master Barista that will make the best possible combinations of this delicious drink, both the classic as well as stunning combined.

Hotel esta ubicado en zona central (Las ramblas). Las habitaciones son grandes. El desayuno es de primera clase. Si esta de negocio es buen hotel. Los precios son medios caros.

How can you not love it? next to La Rambla, great position! Everything was perfect.

Breakfast was fine. The rooms were small and the Wi-Fi was expensive for really no reason — much better hotels in the city offer free Wi-Fi. The staff were surly and became angry when we asked to change rooms to be near the elevators due to an injured member of my party — — they initially refused, then agreed, then told us (after changing the booking) that we would have to wait an extra five hours for the room because of the change, which struck us as punitive. We overheard another agent making telephone reservations, and it was clear that at least half the hotel was unoccupied, making it absurd to resist changing a customer's room at check-in.

For the locals, which we surely never sleep in their rooms, this hotel is interesting for his agenda and his constant movement. In your bar, restaurant or hall always you can see different photographic exhibitions. Despite the fact that you can give a bit of hesitation enter, these exhibitions are worth and normally benefits involved (if sold a photo) are directed to a good cause.

Being in Barcelona not I've hosted me never at this hotel but I want to speak especially of her Sunbathing Lunch, an urban terrace where relax, eat and sunbathe for two hours any weekday morning/noon. The proposed Sunbathing Lunch, unique in Barcelona and open to everyone during the summer months, including a light drink with lunch served at the Spa, 2 hours of access to the terrace and sun cream. Moreover, it is also a 20% discount on all treatments carried out there. We were in July and the truth is that it allowed us to disconnect of the stress of the week. The price is starting from € 15.

Everything about the room was great. The location of the hotel is perfect for turing the city. Breakfast was really good as well.

This hotel is located in an exceptional area of the capital. I love the design of its rooms as well as the proximity to several shopping centers. A little missing the gym and the spa but the rest is of high quality. Despite being on the Ramblas, it is completely quiet.

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff, despite being next to Las Ramblas rooms are very silent, making it a good choice for rest also. Perfect if you can afford and in a very good location.

Stayed here for 4 days in September with my gf. While some of the rooms are on the old side, the service was very good. We had a room with a terrace, and a few outdoor chairs which had gotten wet due to the rain. The hotel staff was prompt in getting them cleaned and dried. Location is also fantastic for a short stay in Barcelona.
