Review of Gran Hotel Barcino 4*

The location is amazing! My room for me was optimal, the breakfast buffet sufficient and the staff friendly and cautious. because I love the hustle and bustle, I have extra Street me book a room and got a room on the 4th floor (406) with a small balcony. The prospect was intoxicating. There is always something to see! Who needs his Holy rest but in the night, which should take better back out a room, because actually the garbage is picked up in the night 2 x, what is of course noisy, but daruch also the roads are always clean ;-) there I liked, to be so amidst the hustle and bustle and also in the night from my balcony watching the bustle on the street and listen to all in all I would but only the hotel 3 star give, as e. G. The minibar empty and was not even cooled. Location: Top! just awesome — the Rambla, as well as to the beach only a few minutes and the whole thing in the middle of the old town! Around numerous bars and shops; something is always going on! No matter what you do, there is always a top Central "base". I went several times a day in my room to freshen up, to move to if the weather changed etc. Staff: very friendly and helpful (2 x I have unfortunately my card from the hotel "entmagnetiesiert" and got immediately a new) nevertheless restrained, how I feel about as pleasant. Gastronomy: I had breakfast, and although not exciting, but that was definitely in order. I was always tired and let me taste the breakfast, especially with good views over the lively street. negative: there was only a coffee from the machine, always the same sausage — and ham varieties, hardly any fresh fruit. For this, you could drink already Cava (sparkling wine) at the breakfast buffet. The hotel bar was — as far as I've noticed — nich open, but why also. Directly in front of the hotel, there are more than enough bars of all kinds! Cleanliness: at first glance everything seemed very clean and it remained so. My room was properly cleaned every day and of course fitted with fresh towels. Comfort / facilities, my room was very large and nicely decorated. About although maybe a little abgewoht, but nice anyway. Wi-Fi: contrary to other comments I can only confirm that I was in my room (406) always! had Wi-Fi. At the reception I got my access data and thus I was online 24 hours a day.
