The hotel is nice and well located. We must highlight the surroundings, which is spectacular. Spacious rooms, clean and with good overall quality. At reception one person waited for us in a great and with another the truth that we were not very satisfied. The lounge with fireplace is very cozy although when we were the fire was not lit. The bar has a somewhat limited schedule and exorbitant prices on some products. Lastly, the worst was breakfast. Only one person to serve the whole room. Minimal variety of products and a great shortage of them.

Very well. It has beautiful surroundings, with the river Tormes behind. It is on the outskirts of town and at the same time it is very close. Very friendly staff. Spacious room with a comfortable bed and a hairdryer! (That came in great, because we got caught in a storm and got soaked). The breakfast buffet was very good. We'll repeat one day.

Spectacular views. The rooms are perfect and comfortable. If you notice that you have food problems (in my case Celiaquia) have it very present. They have special foods for both meals and breakfasts.

Clean Hotel and spacious rooms. Although I did not pay for views in the room, I thought either the restaurant/cafeteria or some common balcony would have views of Gredos, but the area of the restaurant with a view was closed and the balcony that we imagined or informed. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff were very helpful. The menu of the restaurant quite veneer.

A very nice hotel… all great, the rooms spacious and they don't lack a detail and the wonderful views. Very good customer service.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast optional, very complete. It takes 5 minutes to the center, crossing the bridge of the river that is nearby.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! Clean rooms, very comfortable beds and pretty good pillows! But… the service of restaurant and cafeteria… nefarious! Nothing to recommend! Little Personal! We had to wait an hour for some dinner and still went without doing it! The Grief service! So hotel recommended only to sleep!

Good hotel with nice rooms and views of the river and the mountains very nice. The breakfast buffet leaves enough to be desired however. Very slow to replace products that were finished, sometimes gave the impression of being lost in their work.

A good place to stay especially as a couple, with visits to the river and to the village, amazing scenery, quiet, friendly staff, very clean rooms, breakfast is the only thing I did not like, was not up to par.

A very well located hotel next to Avila's boat, the rooms are spacious, with very good view and lots of light, the bathroom is very spacious and has a bathtub, the breakfast buffet very complete and high quality. If I have to put some glue on it is the TV, it was very small for the quality that the hotel had.

Great stay A view of Barco de Ávila and Rio Tormes really spectacular the staff really wonderful at all I don't put five stars by the heat in overwhelming moments of the rooms and the bottled water should be free in the rooms.

We went with a box of "life Is Beautiful" which included breakfast and dinner. It is a modern and comfortable Hotel. It has free parking and Wi-Fi which worked very well. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with excellent views of the Sierra de Gredos and the town of El Barco de Ávila.
We went in low season and weekdays, so we were practically alone in the hotel.
The reception was correct.
The dinners were very good being able to choose between two first and two seconds and desserts. We were attended by a waiter named Roberto who treated us with kindness and professionalism.
For putting a but, breakfasts could be improved including some natural product (for example, freshly crushed tomatoes or natural juice instead of "industrial" products). Also, the TV is something small (although it is not a determining factor in a hotel in my opinion).
In short, a great hotel in an environment with lots of possibilities.

It is worth knowing only for the views it offers to Gredos. The staff at the front desk are super friendly and attentive. Also the breakfast is abundant and includes several options for Celiacs. A perfect place for family trips, with friends or as a couple.

Mala comida pero peor atención.

Good food, presented and quality acceptable. Excellent cod. The service also good. The bad: High prices and no menu of the day. You find out the price when they give you the letter and you're already seated. The cost of L over Bread: 2 bollines, 3 euros. The little drink and face: a simple glass of wine, without knowing the D. O. 3 Euros.

The Mirador de Gredos hotel located on the outskirts of the town of El Barco de Ávila is a magnificent hotel with great views of the river Tormes and the Sierra de Gredos. It has free parking for the guests and it is a very quiet place to rest. It is also worth eating at your restaurant and tasting your rich dishes.

The location is great, the views of the hotel are dreamy, the hotel is very well with great services, very well kept and very clean, take care of the ddtalles,. The best thing about the hotel the staff was friendly, and willing to make your stay unforgettable. 'll.

La suit todo un lujo. Enorme, muy bonita y elegante. El baño impecable y con una gran bañera para disfrutar de un baño relajante (aún que una lástima malgastar tanta agua). Cama muy cómoda y con una gran almohada (en pocos sitios he dormido tan bien). Dispone de nevera y caja fuerte. Además de varios climatizadores para las distintas salas de la habitación.

We were last 30/09/17 the surprise is that the cafeteria was closed and at 22:30 you had a place to take something. They had decided to close it without prior notice and at the front desk they knew nothing of the matter. We were going with half board and could not choose any dish, someone had decided for us without prior notice the hotel does not deserve the stars it has to this day still I have not been called to give me explanations even though I requested to speak with the manager, but they told me he was on vacation. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Fabulous place with lovely food and good-sized rooms. Would be great to have tea making facilities in the room. Nice decking area with stunning views of the town, river and bridge. The hotel is perfectly situated within five minutes walk from the town. I will definitely be returning!

A neat hotel at a very beautiful location. The nearby town is romantic and if you like to experience local Spanish traditions this is the place to be.

All great very clean room we were greeted with a bottle of champagne dinner was phenomenal site where is very comfortable back safe. Very pleasant staff.

I went to eat at the restaurant this Easter. I already knew him previously. I tried to reserve a table from Madrid and I could not. Upon arrival reported me, that they had changed their management and phone number. Now, it has been renamed as Mirador de Gredos. The beans from the boat, spectacular. Very good quality/price.

This weekend we were a group of my people and we liked a lot.

The hotel has closed without notice leaving your website to continue accepting reservations. That happens no one book in it.

Hotel closed. Enabled web page and you can make the reservation, the surprise you get it when you get to the establishment. Business meeting sealed after making several hundred kilometers. Tremendous mess because I had to go back with all the luggage to my place of origin.
They are irresponsible. Nobody warns and cause an irreparable disorder. I've been many years traveling and it is the first time in my life that something happens to me. I will study the matter and will take strong measures.
I have not been the only one. The hotel in question, has closed a month and has not warned, the tools of the network are not removed. They are not concerned and are not aware of the damage they are doing.

A very cool hotel and the village is great for a short break.

I'm from Murcia. I would like to live in the boat of avila. When I retire. For me it is my passion nature of this land of avila.

I've been several times and it is excellent, the best in many miles around, the rooms and the luxury bathroom, breakfast very well as well as food and the exquisite staff, beautiful surroundings and landscape treatment, the sierra de Gredos and la Covatilla a stone's throw. Whenever you go for that area, it will be my hotel.

It is a great place. Elegant, tranquil, intimate and exquisite treatment. It is worth visiting it.
