La ubicación es inmejorable: cerca de la Catedral y frente a la muralla y oficina de información turística. Las ventanas de las habitaciones son alucinantes puesto que insonorizan totalmente el jaleo de la multitud de restaurantes que hay en la calle. El contrapunto viene con la falta de ascensor, que se puede convertir en un problema si se lleva mucho peso (aunque sólo hay dos plantas) y que las duchas son pequeñas, especialmente si eres una persona alta o grande. Por lo demás genial.

Very friendly staff. They keep the ice sheets for excursions. Breakfast included and complete. Mattresses lack quality and pipe noise gives a few scares.

I can only comment on the restaurant and the food was frankly very good. The potatoes revolconas with spectacularly good turrets and tender and juicy beef fillet. Very friendly and quick waiters. Adjusted prices. Recommended.

Value for money excellent, fancy? No, provincial hotel with superb location right in historic centre with all cafes and restaurants on doorstep, breakfast OK but don't expect gourmet. Room compact but adequate for money. Receptionist very pleasant and helpful.

Wonderful accommodation and restaurant, attentive service and very cozy, privileged location in front of the city wall. More than advisable. We're back safe!

The hotel was very good. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has nothing to do with it. We ordered Iberian secret and they served us very poor quality meat. The three people we were leaving the dish almost complete. The cook and the waitress did not show the slightest interest. A shame that being the hotel good has such a poor catering service. If you stay here, eat out.

Take time to attend. I asked giant beans with squid to the letter and brought me stew on the menu of the day. Suckling pig deboned: 100 gr for€ 20. A authentic scam. Only one bathroom for ladies with long queues. For 22€ on the previous day, I ate a t-bone steak 750 g of potatoes.

I went to do the Mega Burger Challenge and the service, the kitchen and the food were great. It is a very nice place and the rooms at a good price. A great place to spend a few nights in Avila. Recommended.

Easy check in. Stairs to room. Very clean. Good Wi-Fi. Bean stew in restaurant was very good. One block from Cathedral. Just inside the walls. Cheap parking is possible just outside wall, but none available for us.

Good value for money It has variety and we are very satisfied. We ate a menu of €35 with a degutacion of 3 first and a 2o to share more dessert and drink. Despite being rush hour to eat not Tubimos Q Wait a lot and we were properly treated efficiently and quickly. We'll be back safe.

I would like to highlight the excellent friendliness of the receptionist, without hesitation to doubt the best of our stay. The room was clean and it was cozy. Nice view of the wall. Ideal location to explore Avila on foot.

The room had a view of the wall, had air conditioning and heat pump and was clean.
It was small the bathroom, but enough.
The Wi-Fi works very well, although sometimes it gets caught.
The breakfast they serve is buffet style and it was quite rich. They also have restaurant, of which the only thing we tried were portions, which of taste were fine but the quality of the product can improve quite a bit.
The reception staff were very friendly, they gave us facilities for everything. The location is excellent, in front of the tourist office and the Old Town. There is a bus and taxi stop nearby.

Old building located in a beautiful area, next to the wall. Clean. Otherwise quite ordinary. At reception was the rainy soil, I rescaunted, I fell and the staff q was there neither looked at me.

Old Garden Hotel. It is in the heart of the city. Good quality and good service.

Very well located hostel. Very comfortable beds. Very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very nice views. Dayuno Basic but we basted and for the price of the room that you include I found it to cheap. I loved it for getaways.

We ordered the tasting menu that included three starters, beans with slaughter, Castilian soup and romps potatoes. The soup might have been a little cold but the beans and the potatoes were pretty good. The second was a sirloin steak of Avila de 700gr to share. The point of the meat very good and the grilled flavor filled the dish. The dessert consisted of buds of Santa Teresa that had a somewhat rare texture, were quite upgradeable. Overall the deal was very good, the staff very friendly and the place very quiet. Good location.

They gave us a "rest package" and among the places is this hostel.
It's the first time I go to a hostel so I don't expect many luxuries.
We asked for a crib room, for our baby, and when we arrived we had what we wanted… Views and cradle… But. The hostel, without elevator… Well… But the room the smallest of the hostel, to access you have to go down stairs… Only a bedside table and without free plugs to charge the mobile, unplug the night lamp or the electric radiator (in december) to charge the PHONE.
Already with the discomfort… They are all a chain of little details of nonsense inside the room and the Hostel. I will not enumerate… bad experience in this hostel.

Rating of a ABULENSE: NO go! They've changed the service! This was one of the best restaurants to have a steak in the center of avila, or to perform events such as baptisms or communions. They must have changed ownership or management, because I have taken there to some friends, who were expressly to eat the steak, and they recommended us better share one of 1500 Grams. Attached the photo of the Steak. The bone was relatively large, but usually normal; Half of the steak (half Up) is fat, and as you can see, it's not splitting. They didn't put meat knives on us, we had to ask them, and they didn't even bring us all. When we asked to be cut off, they gave us a cutting knife (the ones that are super Thin) and told us that inside in the kitchen they couldn't, that we did. For the steak we charged 55 euros. The steak was noticeable that he had a few days in the restaurant without being able to sell (was past). To top it off, we were charged 1, 80 euros for the final shots, and when a friend asked them for a jug of water, they replied that "in Avila it is forbidden in restaurants to serve tap water" thing that is a lie. When I went to speak with the responsible, I said that is the same waiter who served us, a boy of 25 years, who, since I know the site, I know that is not responsible.

Very nice place, incredible location in front of the cathedral, nice rooms but a little noisy. Things to fix: the shower, it was a bit broken.

Very good restaurant. Quite and comfortable. Food was excellent. There is a great variety of dishes and menus.

I went to have lunch with my whole family. The waiters were very kind and helpful. They have different daily menus with several prices, all including two main courses. One of them is a children menu for less than 10€. Spectacular salads, and beef steaks from Avila. The bill for 4 people, including a children menu and an expensive menu including a beef Chuletón, costed less than 60€. Really cheap for what we ate.

Excellent hotel with a first class restaurant, in front of an entrance of the city wall.

Excellent lunch, during a brief visit to Avida. I took advantage of their €13 menu of the day. My choice was a fresh cooked tagliatelle with mushrooms and pine nuts, followed by veal meatballs, and then custard, and the price included bread wine and water. All perfectly cooked and great service.

Of the best places I have stayed. Bed comfortable, room quiet, good breakfast included (buffet) and the restaurant annex prepares delicious food. If in the breakfast set feutos dry, it would be great (nutritious, rich and slow to get bad, a good choice for a buffet breakfast). Good Wi-Fi I was pleasantly surprised how nice and friendly they are all workers that I have found. I have not been treated different for being young and go dress sport, something that you usually find. Is in the center, in front of a beautiful wall that I advise to visit, and it is economical.

For dining, the tasting menu for 2 at€ 35 is very very good. A lot of food and quality.

We were an August 15 and it is leaving us t-bone steak by the ears. We asked €35 menu to share between two. Good calidad\precio and good service.

I think q I will not. The attention is good, but the kitchen detract from everything. A restaurant has to be prepared to convince 7 days a week.

The location is unbeatable, with the wall and Cathedral right in front so that the views are breathtaking, especially at night.

We went to the restaurant group and attended us badly. Very edge staff and the food leaves much to be desired. A great shame now that avila is a magical place.

We had a very good weekend, very clean room, the same bathroom, breakfast and location. Very central and to ir de Cañas I recommend two sites the kedada bar and tapeos bar Matthew where you have more than 50 tapas to choose very good and good price and very close to the hostel in the calle doctor fleming.

I was at a dinner of group with a menu of 19 euros on 26 October and the food dreadful, we left disenchanted were 25 and all but never again.

Excellent value for money. There are several menus to choose: from 12, 80€ up to £ 21, 80. Recommended 100%.
