Nice rooms and good service.

We have done many other reviews (mostly on TripAdvisor) and in most cases, we are pretty generous — with many four and five star ratings. However, this place really doesn’t deserve more than one star. We only had a couple of beers each and shared a pizza. The prices were good and the pizza was very good. However, the staff were most unfriendly. Our Spanish is limited, but we try and be humble and use lots of “Gracias”. Everywhere we go, those are acknowledged and almost always do we receive a “de nada” and smile in return. Not here. Not a word and barely any eye contact. Not from any of the three different staff that served us. And it certainly wasn’t because they were busy, as it was a very quiet night and they were looking bored half the time.

Central Hotel. We found it clean and curious about the amount of furniture and antique clocks inside. It has a menu of the day at 13, 90. We were surprised that there was capsule coffee at the breakfast buffet.
The parking is limited. It has in front of the same door 4 sites and opposite the Hotel 11 more shared sites with another hotel.

Hotel dated with a charm.

We stop for a drink. The room was clean, the coffee was good (for those who like it with grounds) but we ordered a skewer tortilla and it was microwave overheated, pretty bad.

Great place to stay with very good treatment and very good value for money.

A good place to spend a few days of rest, good treatment and affordable price.

Impeccable hotel, very well decorated, looks like a museum, great collection of wall clocks, good service and customer care.

The placer was really nice, the service always there un case you need It and food very tasty.

We have been dining for a week in this restaurant and we can only say that everything has been fantastic, the food, the service and the price. We highlight the friendliness of Herminia and his partner.

We ate in the restaurant. The food is good. It has to improve the service. The price is economical. Take command it at 5 minutes again ask that you've asked and when they bring the food is that they have become confused. You don't mind talking about labor issues in front of customers. We ate next to a woman who was to be the owner or Chief, was more aware of our conversation which of its own food. One of the waitresses that we attended should do a course of care customer. I recommend to owners review the translations of the menus, they do not conform to the reality for nothing.

I speak only of the restaurant, and surprised to read other reviews. We ate one day, and as we liked very much, again another for dinner. The price of the cheapest in the area, and without any surprise menu. It gives what offers 1 °, 2 °, bread, beverage and dessert. Neither more nor less. And very good quality, for example garlic soups are outstanding. Also very good second gratinated cod. They were also pretty fast since it was Easter and butt.

Real pirates, thieves and frauds:

Think it me is shame that a first-class campsite and in which you are charging 75 euros per night, give you a study in poor conditions. I have been a week ago. We had booked for 6 nights and only stayed the first because already paid had. Sofa-bed with foam mattress and broken (I have tried good without paying so much sofa-bed), kitchen gave us a spark anything more turn it on, humidity, the refrigerator is opened with garbage, broken linen closet door. SHAMEFUL! Over you tell the man that we go to the next day arrive and do not consume the next 5 nights and stays so calm. Good that we could find an accommodation to relax in conditions and not soured me vacation.

Very close to Santillana del Mar (will be 5 min walk) and Altamira 2 Kms. The very small streets for caravans and badly demarcated plots. Very old and broken tiled bathrooms. Hot water at times in the shower only, the rest cold water.

Yes, Santillana del Mar is very nice old town, very close to Altamira Museum. From here you can visit whole Cantabria. But, I would rather recommend to find a "Casa Rural" around. Santilla is a bit more expesive, This Hotel is expensive compare with much better places around, breakfast is poor, no quality at all. In our room as example, the bathroom was doing noise all night long. The room are not very nice in general. The breakfast is not in the building, you have to walk 100 metres to another site.

Posada excellent, very good value for money, and one of the things that has struck me is modern décor.
