Ibis Budget Oviedo Hostel

Let's be realistic. These hotels are what they are (functional) and are located where they are (usually far from the center) but of course, they cost what they cost, which usually doesn't be much.
Completely on the line of this chain. Whether you're in Oviedo or Frankfurt, the hotel is the same. Functional, simple and for my taste very ugly.
They point out with great interest in their facilities that they have very good beds and in which they sleep very well. I'm not like that for me. The mattresses are not very good and the pillows are not to my taste, but I repeat that it is a hotel by way and you can not ask for great luxuries.
The staff is lovely. I get the feeling that the brand has very much sobered its employees to be nice to customers, and they really are.

Noisy room with open window, air conditioning with little cold, broken light switch from last Friday upon our arrival, having warned the next day I thought that being weekend on Monday would be fixed, this image I take today before leaving and you can see it's still broken.
The breakfast was short and they took time to replenish for lack of staff, there was day I was waiting for bread or a sad coffee.
The best thing for me is the staff that has, professional, attentive, polite and friendly, busted to work and always with a smile and friendly word.
I advise whoever is the right to look for them and hire more staff.

Ibis Oviedo, worst Ibis I've ever been. Large queues, dirty clothes in the corridor in the afternoon, the elevator not working from time to time. But the worst was the restaurant, dinner — service. After waiting for 40 mnts the waitress just brought canned food and specially the service in the restaurant was a disaster.

They didn't register the reservation when I arrived, they had me waiting for a long time. Please note that the air conditioning in the room does not work. They later repaired the air conditioner. The hotel heeded my claims. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

In comparison with last Ibis I was in (in Madrid) is much worse. Location not great. In our bedroom one of the beds wasn't made. We have to made it ourselves both days. Almost transparent small towels. They share reception Ibis and Ibis budget. The common area is pleasant enough. Room was quite noisy even with the window closed. Breakfast is overpriced in this chain and here is over 7 Euros (better have it out, plenty places with great tostas). Pretty disappointed this time. It's worth to pay a bit more around and avoid all those inconveniences.

A good experience. Although it is a basic hotel, the employees are absolutely kind, polite, helpful and careful. Clean, good breakfast, near of a lot of services an the city center on foot. I surely will come back when I have to go to Oviedo.

Very nice Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just a step away from the center. No need to travel by car. Ten minutes from the bus and train stations. Big Tub Terrace with a great view to the Naranco.

Good location near downtown to 15 minutes walking, very good breakfasts and cheap type buffet customer service excellent, all very clean and the rooms are comfortable, I recommend the chain ibis their prices are economical.

Good value for money A lot of difference with the Ibis Budget rooms. With the customer card there are usually very competitive offers. There is a parking lot, esplanade type, next to the hotel, very useful.

Great care for the front desk staff. Cheap price, close proximity to the city centre. Good breakfast. And clean and modern rooms.

The overall attention of the staff to been good. Breakfast was OK. When we arrived at the hotel at 12 pm the heating was on top and towards a horrible heat in the room. To be a completely smoke free hotel The bathroom stinks of marijuana. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom nice though the water was out of the shower. The gifts to which we are accustomed to give us in other hotels in this you are charged (dental hygiene kit, cleans shoes, sponges, etc)

Nice hotel in a quiet part of the city. To get into the city center requires a 20 min walk but there are plenty of taxis and bus stops nearby. The rooms are great, very clean, television with satellite and air conditioning. Fast free Wi-Fi is also available. The staff on the check in desk are very helpful and recommend us to visit the city center for a local festival that was taking place. A 24 hour kitchen is also present providing sandwich and small dishes for late check in.
