Clean tidy rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It's 10 minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes bus ride to the town centre.

Great place with an exceptional atmosphere. The rooms were spotless and well equipped. The location may be the Achilles heel of this site: it is about 25 minutes walk from the city center and where is the greatest bar activity. It is a 12-minute walk from the beach.

Very good hotel. Spotlessly clean. A bit out of the centre. Probably around 45 minutes walk. A regular bus service during the day.

Hotel looks very convoluted. What does an old typewriter do in a display case on the aisle? Room was clean, but was unusually cut. There was also a small fridge where you could store breakfast items. The bed was right next to the front door. Walls are very bright and overall the hotel looks more like a youth hostel. In spite of everything, the hotel is well located for bathing in the Mussel Bay. It takes about 12 minutes to get to the beach. The city takes about 30 minutes on foot. It's faster by bus. The bus stop is only 5min. Away. At the bus stop there is also a 100 montaditos where you can have dinner at low cost.
Conclusion:
As just accommodation ok, everyone else who expects more from a hotel should leave your fingers out.

A beautiful place to stay in the heart of Donostia-San Sebastian. The staff, amenities, and surroundings are tops.

Good location clean well located comfortable rooms good bedding breakfast pays what to take or continental breakfast for less than 4th meal to avoid not too much choice.

Simple but confortable, clean, modern. Nice people. I have not tried the restaurant. It is in a good location if you are visiting the university, otherwise it is a bit far from the old town. There are some good restaurants around, for example Lobo. The price is reasonable.

Very disappointing… place where our weekend was ruined due to a hotel negotiation with the police for the removal of our car yet parked in the parking lot of it, while we had just arrived.

As a meeting center it's not bad.

We went from a cider bar to the town and stayed here. Very economical and very nice place. Very clean and new. Breakfast is pretty good. Nothing out of the ordinary but good.

Modern and cosy rooms. Very good price and service. Would go without hesitation.

So in the pictures in the lobby they put that there is a piano and pool table. Piano had a key and pool table couldnt be used. Why? Because I said so. So unprofessional staff that doesnt know **** about customer service. Rooms are clean. Kind of far from the center.

We went to visit the Olarain residence and found it very cozy. The services offered to guests, such as the spa, the gym or the paddle tennis court are very good for both students and guests in general.

It is a beautiful place, you are in the center and in the middle of a forest, very nice figures and an excellent treatment and good atmosphere of students.

A very nice place for students and visiting scientists. The rooms are equipped with a comfortable working place and the internet connection is decent.

The hotel is somewhat far from the center of San Sebastián but its low cost justifies it. It's clean and modern. Ancient objects are on display. If you are lucky you can park without cost in the parking that is in front. The beach is a ten minute walk away and there are good restaurants in the neighborhood. When I return to San Sebastián I will look again for this lodging.

Just stayed here for three weeks and loved every second. Everyone from the cooking and cleaning staff to the front desk staff and management were extremely helpful for our group. Very close to public transit and the beach!

Very peculiar and nice very good deal.

It must have been a student residence before. The tiny rooms with a double bed attached to the wall, so if you are two, one has to get in and out of bed by the feet. The toilet has shower, WC and sink, but very small, you can hardly move. For one night, passable.

To be a hotel and residence, it is accessible, advisable.
A shame that the price is a bit high to not include breakfast on weekend.

A different hotel. Nice and cozy in a university setting, 3km from the center. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy a nice walk along the coast. Highly recommended.

We have arrived today and the hospitality and cordiality not to mention the friendliness have been great. The room was very nice and clean. We haven't slept yet but it gives me a good feeling. The food I have no idea. We haven't tried it. I advise the coming, sincerely price quality have difference, that is to say, it seems to me of very good quality assumable for any pocket.

College dorm rooms "converted" to hotel rooms. Clean. No air-conditioning or room service. Breakfast buffet is in the dining hall and not worth the 12 euro price tag. We called maintenance for an issue with the mini fridge and he was rude. Be sure to bring shampoo because they don't provide it. Beds are uncomfortably small. The good news is it is close to the beach.

Olarain is not very centrally located, which confers the advantage of it being quiet but the disadvantage of it being a little ways from where most of the activity of the city can be found. It is, however, a short walk from the beach, which is very nice. The rooms are very nice and well-arranged. The staff has seemed very friendly from the interactions I've had with them. My main complaint is about the food provided on the cafeteria — it is terrible. I would recommend instead setting money aside to enjoy the rich food found in El Centro.

This place is the one I will stay in every time I get to San Sebastián! Have been here 4 years ago, also after a Caminotour, and LOVE this place! GOOD food and nice rooms. Close to the city senter and the beautiful long beach.

Very nice hotel, it's very calm, close to the beach. San Sebastian is a very nice place to visit. A sauna is available in the hotel. The breakfast is a little bit desapointed. The price is reasonable for the quality of the hotel. The employees are cool and usefull.

Nice hotel for the price. A little out of the main area in San Sebastian, but busses run frequently nearby for €1.70. They have a lot of amenities, so if you are on a long trip great for a laundry stop. Staff was a little cold, but nothing unserviceable. I would recommend if you are on a budget and don't mind a little back and forth from city center.

This hotel is a great compromise for those who want to stay in San Sebastian without overly affecting their finances.
The hotel is located on the university campus of the Universidad del País Vasco, 500 metres from Ondarreta beach. We stayed for three nights in a large and functional double room with private bathroom not very big but equipped with all the amenities. Excellent Wi-Fi access, the hotel also has a computer room with free internet access and a large café-bar.
There is a small free parking lot outside the entrance and a paid parking for which you have to ask for availability at the reception. In any case, there is also the possibility to park, for a short time, along the road that leads to the hotel.
Our reservation did not include breakfast, which can in any way be consumed by choosing from a good variety of sweet and savory products and deciding whether to pay at the time or to charge on the final account of the room.
The Olarain is 300 meters from the bus stop N º 5 and 25 that allow you to reach the city centre, but also with a pleasant walk you can easily reach the beaches of Ondarreta and de La Concha.

Mostly for students but for one night OK…

Very comfortable and quiet. Perfect to relax after work. Well located, a short walk from the beach in waves challenge.

There is a fridge, otherwise perfect.

Excellent service and attention.

Too expensive for what they offer.
